Well I looked at some of my old posts from 2014, not sure how to feel ?

Eh, don't worry. Give it enough time and it won't really matter.

Just like how I feel with my posts of 2014... or 2011... or 2009... except for "damn, I've been here for a long time now".

tbh i wish i was easy to please but alas i am not
at least not with things that matter

So it turns out you're a complex human being, after all; well, that's the norm, really, and if anything, it just means there's more to you than not, right?

I'm going to far into this, sorry, some times I have too much time in my hands.

hmm...super powers, super powers...how about the power to control your mouth? the power to make smart choices? the power to be open minded?...no, I suppose those are no fun...no fireworks or flair, no unfairness, no theatrics, no danger inherit in them...but just imagine if people had those kinds of superpowers...

...an interesting point, but I associate progression with completion, I'm not sure I see how gameplay itself is progressive...and I'm with you on the fighting games, at least those that focus entirely on the fist fights with kicking mixed in. And then you some times hear people talk about "deep" combat systems, which is just fancy speech for more variables for you to sink time on. Oh well; games are still fun, yes?

the feeling is different from person to person. situations change in games to keep them from getting stale normally. with fighting games, the position youre in at the fight is constantly changing and you learn how to react to the different situations, but the scanarios repeat themselves so fast that i cant enjoy these kinds of games for long at all. but im not a competitive type of person really...
