Wow...As for natural phenomena, I remember the forests on the mountainside on my first (and only) skiing trip to be exceptionally beautiful. I was in the ski lift with a bunch of other rookies, and we were all pretty nervous because, hey, ski lifts are scary. Then we suddenly rose above the treetops, and we were looking down at a huge forest of pine trees, all covered in the finest powdered snow. It was magical.
