At least enough time for him to put his book back where it belonged. The enemy had taken the gangplanks, and it was about time that they fixed that."Hey, Calden. Glad you're awake again, can't have you snoozing at a time like this." Orpheus joked, hoping Calden had forgotten why he'd been knocked down in the first place. "We'll get the guy with the pointy stick. You give him a bit of the old abracadabra and I'll toss an axe at him face. Don't worry, you'll be out of harm's way this time! We've got this teamwork thing sorted."Maybe Orpheus wasn't as supernumerary as he thought? It wasn't like he was rushing in with the heroics, but finishing an enemy here and there never hurt, right? He just needed a little more practice and he'd be swinging away with the best of them. So is regular magic, as it turns out. Lugos criticals and deals 13 damage! (53,1) Knight A falls! The party gains 5 exp. "Wha-Hey, hey, that's mine!" Calden yelled, recognising the effects of Lugos' new tome. He had half a mind to blow his stupid donkey off the side of the ship, before he remembered that his tome was gone. He swore under his breath. Instead, he directed his thunderous rage towards the guy with another weapon designed for riders. Could he ever get a break? Calden hits and deals 17 damage! (58,59) Soldier A 3/31 The party gains 2 exp. And then Orpheus kind of knocked the same guy on the head and watched his unconscious body tip into the water. Orpheus hits and deals 9 damage!
