Even narrowing down the list, it leaves me with a sizeable amount of composers. To not make a huge list of composers, Shoji Meguro and Yuzo Koshiro are huge ones for me. It's between Strange Journey, Second Opinion and Digital Devil Saga for Meguro, and ActRaiser, Revenge of Shinobi and Etrian Odyssey for Koshiro. Shout-outs to Masanori Oodachi, Souji Taro, Soshiro Hokkai and Hidehiro Funauchi, obscure dudes who made some of the best there is out there. What role does each of you play in the story and what does each person specialize in? I'd be the MAIN CHARACTER definitely, because you're asking me. I'd probably specialise in being oppressively offensive, so something like a warrior class, or maybe a knight (in which case I'd be slightly less offensive), which I'm leaning towards more. Naturally, Specta would be there too, and she'd be the other main character, a cleric of some sort. SeverIan would be another, and he'd be an eccentric wizard type, another party member. Joke's on you ha HA! 1) Definitely Cave Story! But hmm...it would probably mostly depend on the genre and the thing I want to make in particular. For RPGs, for instance, Final Fantasy is a definite influence (as well as the influence on the influence, being Miyazaki's films), and then I've always wanted to make a game based on David Bowie's Diamond Dogs...and one based on Glass Spider...and then another that's kind of a RoboCop rip-off...wow, my influences are many! A lot of songs and albums tend to influence me, especially if they're relating a story or something (the two mentioned are like that). Two more that are like it are Judas Priest's Tyrant and Electric Eye; they'll probably be FPS games and influenced by DOS FPS games such as Duke Nukem 3D (my favourite FPS of all time). Strangely enough, Castlevania has never seemed to quite influence me very directly. I can't see it seeping into any one of my ideas. 2) Moga Village and Loc Lac from Monster Hunter 3 come to mind. Also ELDER TALE from Log Horizon. Hmm, where else...probably Japan, it's real enough! And Vainqueur seems PRETTY COOL too! Probably more I can't remember right now. 3) Like everyone loves Miyazaki's films so besides those? Definitely Legend of the Galactic Heroes, my number one. I'm very fond of Princess Tutu as well. Log Horizon is shaping up to be amazing. Armoured Trooper VOTOMS is radical. Kirby anime is amazing. Of course, TTGL and the first season of the JoJo adaptation. I don't watch a whole lot actually, but there's probably a few more in there! 4) THE AWESOMEST 5) Hahaha...I-I haven't actually played any, oops. Looks like I'm burned out forever. I was thinking earlier in the day, though, that I'd like to continue the marathon. It's one hell of a baton switch, but I'll take it.
