Draco Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 I hate how Ragnell no longer shoots shockwaves in Awakening.I appreciate Awakening for what it is but on the whole I greatly dislike it.I never use prepromotes, no matter what. ...Except Gotohs, they're fair game. I think Hector is a worse character gameplay wise than Lyn. I do not like the Jugdral games at all. Rapier Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 I like watching characters grow from complete scrubs to war gods, so I try to exp abuse as much as I can (have Rebecca shoot that axe boss on the first Eliwood Story chapter, for example. Same with Wolt). This is partly why I loved Radiant Dawn: Everyone can grow, and BEXP does wonders even with low playability characters. I dislike using Jeigans because they are static in growths, except maybe Cuan and Sothe. Frederick and Seth make the game too easy, so I don't bother with them. I tend to not use Lyn much in FE7, to the point where shes the one lagging behind. She gets leveled cuz i hate Four Fanged Offense Lloyd Version a lot. I really never used Brom. Sothe is never used for actual combat in FE10. He steals and takes hits. I love giving Mist Alondite. I play Easy Mode exclusively in FE10 cuz fuck that noise. In FE10, Soren gets all the resources. I ship Ephraim with Innes. Both are douchey and deserve each other. My favorite (het) pairing for Eirika is Saleh. Amelia always goes Paladin. I like Casual Mode. Ive never even really seen FE12. I tend to hoard the best items/weapons. I actually dislike Farina as a character, but shes such a great unit, im willing to shell out the coin for her. After I recruited him I bench almost all of my thief from the get go. I am not afraid to tribute my characters if I can get in a better position/get a better character later on. Eldritch Abomination Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 The first time I ever played through Blazing Sword, I under-used Eliwood so badly that by the time it came for him to promote, he wasn't even level 10. I choose characters and classes for aesthetic reasons instead of stats, almost constantly. I find Marth to be a rather boring character, and dislike his games because of it. Yarne is my favorite character in Awakening, and the only child unit I ever give support levels to. Fomortiis is my favorite final boss. I never used pegasus knight characters up until Awakening, and even then I only used Dark Fliers. After seeing their interactions in the DLC, I ship Gangrel x Emmeryn. Hard.
