See that one named "Kilo"?

That's what happened when we tried. That system's been around since August 20. . .at least it's stayed in a corner the entire time.

Was.

Then we got a bunch of rain, and now the beaches on Oahu are closed off.

EDIT: And if they're not, they should be. Sewage spills suck.

This is why I enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest: we don't have to deal with this crap. Light but frequent rainfall all the way. You know if you disregard this 4 year drought we've been having.

Sounds like a fun season! /notserious

man why can't california be hawaii?

Then again wasn't hawaii in a drought as well?

Dude, I don't want any hurricanes. I may not have ever experienced hurricanes but the tropical storms that came with it in NY were bad enough. :/

No, don't send them over here.

No wait, one hurricane actually avoided my place... yeah, send them over, let's see if they can actually reach us here in northeast Baja!

we're getting an el nino this year, at least

then again what we (and for that matter, the entire west coast up to BC) really want is our snowpacks filled

I'm living so much up north that nothing like this can reach me. (Well technically they do, but as a very downgraded tropical depression)

Brace yourself Clipsey.

Thanks, guys~! 'cept for you, NinjaMonkey, share your rain with SoCal.

I think the worst we'll see is MOAR RAIN, which in turn will make the sewage spill problems worse.

don't think california will be making up the water deficit anytime soon without any strong storms unfortunately.

Patience, my pet. El Nino is coming. Gozilla El Nino is supposed to be coming.

jinkies, eclipse. Being in the path of three big kahunas like that must be bullshit. This is where homeowner's insurance is a boon.

Downgraded you say? The hurricane literally transform into a shower (or downpour) or it become a windy day. Nothing serious.

Even if we have to deal with 5 or 6 month of winter (depend of the year).
