eclipse
I love living in Hawaii. Hurricane season is either nonexistent or throws stuff like that at us. It did this last year, too.
Chen
why don't they just build hurricane fighting robots in hawaii?
eclipse
See that one named "Kilo"? That's what happened when we tried. That system's been around since August 20. . .at least it's stayed in a corner the entire time.
Chen
whoa, i have a better idea why don't we build just a single robot to move all the hurricanes to a single spot? and then the hurricanes would have friends to chill with
Ansem
its okay it could be worst. you could live in hawaii where there are hurricanes either all the time or none at all
eclipse
We almost got run over by Gulliermo. True story.
Junk
man why can't california be hawaii? Then again wasn't hawaii in a drought as well?
eclipse
Was. Then we got a bunch of rain, and now the beaches on Oahu are closed off. EDIT: And if they're not, they should be. Sewage spills suck. Edited August 30, 2015 by eclipse
The Geek
This is why I enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest: we don't have to deal with this crap. Light but frequent rainfall all the way. You know if you disregard this 4 year drought we've been having.
Renne
Sounds like a fun season! /notserious man why can't california be hawaii? Then again wasn't hawaii in a drought as well? Dude, I don't want any hurricanes. I may not have ever experienced hurricanes but the tropical storms that came with it in NY were bad enough. :/
Junk
don't think california will be making up the water deficit anytime soon without any strong storms unfortunately.
Renne
Yeah, but doesn't have to be hurricanes. Although I don't think I've heard of California having strong storms in the first place.
Junk
Northern California can get some pretty strong snow storms in winter and a few strong storms in spring.
eclipse
How 'bout we send all those hurricanes to SoCal? It would be a short-term fix on the water problem.
Renne
But would we be prepared for them?
Acacia Sgt
No, don't send them over here. No wait, one hurricane actually avoided my place... yeah, send them over, let's see if they can actually reach us here in northeast Baja!
I.M. Gei
man why can't california be hawaii? Then again wasn't hawaii in a drought as well? we're getting an el nino this year, at least then again what we (and for that matter, the entire west coast up to BC) really want is our snowpacks filled

Naughx
I'm living so much up north that nothing like this can reach me. (Well technically they do, but as a very downgraded tropical depression) Brace yourself Clipsey. Edited August 30, 2015 by Naughx
NinjaMonkey
This is why I love living in the UK. Every one in the world else gets the extreme weather, we just get rain. Edited September 9, 2015 by NinjaMonkey
eclipse
Thanks, guys~! 'cept for you, NinjaMonkey, share your rain with SoCal. I think the worst we'll see is MOAR RAIN, which in turn will make the sewage spill problems worse.
Loki Laufeyson
man why can't california be hawaii? Nym
I'm living so much up north that nothing like this can reach me. (Well technically they do, but as a very downgraded tropical depression) Brace yourself Clipsey. Downgraded you say? The hurricane literally transform into a shower (or downpour) or it become a windy day. Nothing serious. Even if we have to deal with 5 or 6 month of winter (depend of the year).
