Some of the bios have been translated:

"Nuikoguma is very popular among women and children, and tops the lists of Pokemon people want to meet. It hates being touched and will kick and struggle to resist. It's very powerful, but once it evolves into Bewear it truly gains herculean strength

Sunabaa is a grudge that dwells inside a pile of sand turns into a Pokemon.

Truly a terrifying creature Shirodesuna steals the life force from other Pokemon. Those Pokemon's grudges turn into a new Sunaba."

Just as I expected, the Sandcastle Pokemon are pretty creepy.

It's a never ending cycle of hatred when you think about it.

honestly that doesn't stop me from thinking the sandcastle is adorable, but that's interesting

And remember, this game is aiming for a younger audience.

Are they trying to get new horror movies lovers or something.

EDIT: Ok I can't even... please to someone tell me what's so cute about... A HAUNTED SANDCASTLE.

I'm not even mad... it's just want to see that thing from another perspective.

A lot of it's in the expression for me. It just looks perpetually surprised. Plus since it makes smaller ones you've got this giant Mama sandcastle surrounded by tiny baby sandcastles. Absolutely precious.

Uhh... well I can see what you mean if you consider the ''entrance'' a mouth but it's really hard to focus on that when you see a Pikachu being uhh... ''dragged'' by that thing on the top right.

I had a feeling there was a creepy story behind Mr. Sandcastle, but it's still cute to me anyway! :P

O_O

Ok... I'm going to go to work, if when I comeback and I see like 5 to 10 more people liking this thing, I swear I'll change my avatar for this thing and I'll pretend it's cuter than Eevee (it's not).

Deal for everyone.

I think it's cute, and I can definitely see why people think it's cute. I think part of it is just 'cuz you have this giant, shifting sand-castle, but it always has this shovel buried in the top of it. Kind of like a little hat! The "always surprised" thing kind of sticks out to me, too.

Deal?

You don't have to agree with us that it's cute.

People just have different tastes, is all.

Anyway, I already mentioned that I find it cute. Creepy story, but cute design. Also, it's a SANDCASTLE. What's not to like about sandcastles?!

I meant the sandcastle is cute, not the story. :P

Yeah, exactly! What's not to like about sand castles? :D

Oh boy, this will not end well for me xD.

... Yeah, I'm. I'm just gonna pull a Cofagrius 2.0. on the "dragging poor creatures into its body and doing god knows what to them".

A certain level of denial and rug-sweeping comes with stanning Ghost-types.

Hydreigon acts like a puppy in Amie, it's great.

I KNOW! Honestly I was super delighted to see that with all of the mean dex entries it gets. I thought it was painfully adorable. It's so... cute...

And suddenly, I'm not feeling Alola all over again.

Nym, I actually agree with you that the haunted sandcastle is creepy. Keep it away from my Pokemon.

"If a traveler is going through a desert in the thick of night, Cacturne will follow in a ragtag group. The Pokémon are biding their time, waiting for the traveler to tire and become incapable of moving."

Seriously, I don't see how a sandcastle is creepier than that. There's even more I find creepier.

Just because there are others that are creepier doesn't mean that the sandcastle isn't creepy as well.

The only "creepy" Pokemon I like at all is Honedge.

*Ahem*

Hypno, Mr. Mime, Haunter and Gengar, Driftloon, Dusknoir, Litwick family, Yamask and Cofagrigus, Phantump and Trevenant, and Caturne.

Wow, look at how kid friendly Pokemon is! Taking souls to hell, kidnapping children, you name it, Pokemon's got it.

In all seriousness, Pokemon isn't marketed specifically for younger audiences, its marketed for all ages. If it was for young kids we'd just have stuff like Pikachu and Clefairy. harmless and cute. Maybe Tyrunt, since its cute and cool.

Don't forget what some of the human villains do.

Team Flare were practically Nazis.

Team Rocket literally killed a Marowak and sold Pokemon at a Casino. Plasma is talking about actual ethics of Pokemon battles, even if it was lie.

Oh yeah, how can I forget how child-centric the creation of Mewtwo was.

Oh, and let's not forget the many Pokemon graveyards that are in EVERY game, with Sun and Moon being no exception.
