I mean, there were a few damsels in distress sure but compared to what he starts doing later, it wasn't that bad. FE2 had cult and damsels in distress and then Kaga decided that's what he wanted to do from now on (though he wouldn't go full force on the cult until FE4). I mean, we do have a cultish force in Gharnef, with the bishops underneath him, but the main effect on the plot is Gharnef himself and the other bishops on his side aren't near the Duma Faithful/Loptous Sect. Well from memory, Nepgear has quite a few in Hyperdimension, but this one removed em. Also, adjusting the ratios is a future prospect. Other small changes that I wont show yet: Uni's paralysing shot is thunder (why it wasnt, who knows) Nepgears defensive cheer hits all allies in HDD. I might also depend on how good the characters are in each style. I can definitely see some characters being better in Ys mode while others are better in Trails mode. I'm really intrigued. Also since ARPGs handle difficulty much much better than turn-based then, well, you might finally have fun with Nightmare again.
