Gets screwed over by having Therenius as his superior. ...But then they reused his face for the Meme Feet Guy and that weaselly nutcase in Lagniel's chapter. Funny how that works. Some not even intentionally, like Zade and Garlan recognizing that the inept moron in charge clearly wasn't the Tribune they fought in the forest, and that they wouldn't have had a snowball's chance in hell if she was. Therenius boasting about his supposed abilities is also really fun considering the context that he literally has a skill to reflect how much he sucks as a leader. Therenius is the finest showing of the Kempf archetype. He's so good. VS2's Baruke is also a lot of fun but this guy is just something else. I think I've only ever watched one E3 live way back in 2018. All othertimes since I just watched the trailers I cared about when stumbled upon. That pirate spawns there on the same turn that Athol parks her royal derriere right inside his range. He kills her in one hit. There is absolutely nothing I can do about it other than block the spot with Troy so she can't get herself killed. Already that's pretty damn lame. But then there's the whole business with the tower. Zade needs to get to the tower to save Merida from her Kagaitis. But there's a billion assassins waiting to shank him, and Inigo's also there being a shitstain. The tower is really difficult to assail. But you need to assail it at Mach 10, because otherwise Athol reaches Denton and wins the map, losing Merida. Then on top of all that, the game expects me to somehow find the time to get Zade to talk to Athol again? When?! I had him dash at full speed toward the tower and he still only arrived with three turns to spare before Athol reaches there. Unless I block her, of course, but then Elbert fucking dies. Oh, and the little girl keeps warping around the map and she can potentially teleport right in front of Athol, blocking her and costing Elbert his life and there's nothing I can do about it other than murder a child for no reason. I hate it. I'm doing it tomorrow. In other news, today is "VS2 portraits popping up as generics" day apparently. First Abrahm, now Claude? All that's left is for Lucion to pop up and we'll have the holy trinity of sucky armors. Except Abrahm is not sucky, but is in fact the best armor knight in the entirety of Kaga's resume.
