It didn't have any of the minor labyrinthine elements of Dark Castle or Mirage Palace either. I don't really remember any of the prior exclusive boss fights, but given they're all against mobile humanoids instead of big easy targets, I do think they're all a cut above the rest of the boss fights in terms of challenge. The Darkshine Knight didn't have a lot of telegraphing of his attacks compared to the big red "warning" zones most enemy attacks provide well in advance of their execution. And the Crimson Wizard, so much warping around the big battlefield, and it took me a little time to get used to his spells. I could fight the Dragon Lord now, but I'd rather wait for the Pro Controller to charge up first. So I'll finish this run later today.
