Saint Rubenio
All right, I found a subarea that has a tree. Big tree in the middle. I actually found it before. I left because nothing was happening. I see that hasn't changed. Sigh... Am I really gonna have to look up a guide for the first dungeon? 2 minutes ago, Shrimperor said: ??? BrightBow
I always found it rather demotivating how every time you die in Dark Souls, you become weaker and consequently have to defeat the opponent who killed you under even worse odds. Discourages experimentation too.

Saint Rubenio
All right! I made it! ...out of the forest. So new lore: Scherazard took the corpses of the kids and buried them at the Bright household. She then passed away that night from alcohol poisoning. Thankfully, Cassius Bright didn't have to mourn them - he perished while on the line of duty due to plot related reasons. As for Ruben, he went to play Berwick Saga. Fuck this forest. 5 minutes ago, Sooks said: I literally have the game on auto run and have been surprised by encounters like twice. It's infuriating he meant run away from battle. You can escape any battle with 100% escape chance anyway, here's forest solution Spoiler Anyway, at Mistwald, there's no map for you to use. Facing north, and go straight forward. At the second area, there are three log bridges. On the leftmost side, it leads to a Bear Claw while the center and the rightmost bridge leads to an intersection. At the intersection, there are two paths: One going north and the other east. The one that goes north leads to a dead end. The path you want to go is east. Be sure to choose the second option, F-fine! But I'm not happy about this! There, it'll lead to the boss. I mean, two was a bit of an exaggeration but it has really never been an issue. And I don’t think I’m actually using anything that can reveal enemies to me even though I have it. The only times I get genuinely surprised by enemies popping are when I’m using turbo mode and not paying attention.

One LEETLE piece of advice: I wouldn't spam encounters in the earlygame as much as possible, since they become more numerous at parts of the story, so I would advocate for keeping the novelty...New. Also, for the Miracle in Maharaja sidequest, should you encounter it PICK THE BLACK BOX. It gives you probably the most useful QoL thing in the game. Sooks
You guys should try the super boss in Octopath. For every attempt, you first have to beat the eight boss long boss rush of one boss from each character’s story.

Shows you every single aggro-able encounter in all of Kamurocho while you have it equipped. The other playable has one too, but I don't think it's missable. This is mostly useful for one reason: It shows you exactly where Mr. Shakedowns are. Mr. Shakedowns are basically the fastest way to get cash in the game. At a great risk. There are other ways as well, but if you're doing the beginning of the Real Estate Royale minigame or wanna get an expensive upgrade, you make a beeline to a Shakedown. Plus, they're also pretty fun fights! Well, when the game's not running at a solid 3 FPS like mine was. Note that this isn't a necessity to beat the game, but it's something that you might not want to miss. Edited May 13, 2021 by Benice
