ping Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 Quick EU4 achivement run Eating Qara Qoyunlu in 34 years is actually somewhat tricky if you want to continue the campaign past that. They require three wars to be fully annexed, and taking 100% warscore worth of land results in a 15 year truce, so if you don't want to trucebreak (which would result in horrible stability hits and coalitions formed against you), you have to attack one of QQ's allies and then white peace QQ out, replacing the long truce with one that only lasts 5 years. I was somewhat lucky there since QQ guaranteed a weak Armenia; otherwise I would've had to fabricate on Mazanderan (the tag south of the Caspian), which would've delayed things for a bit. Iraq is a vassal, they have a bunch of cores on QQ, which allowed the 2nd war against them to be a reconquet war, nice and light on the aggressive expansion. And since I already got the achievement I was looking for, I can see if I can get away with this. The Osmanoglu do not want to share the Black Sea coast with me - apart from Bagdad, no idea why the Ottos want that one specifically, those are provinces of my new Georgian vassal, including one that I politely asked the Ottomans to return to them.
