  1. This honestly looks more interesting than the upcoming banner, looking forward to seeing if I can get her.
  2. I'd like to see a GHB of: Karel (FE6): He's Legendary at this point, and would probably be a cool challenge with a map based of part of the Ghosts of Bern. Murdock: This dude rocks, I really want to get to use him more outside of Trial Maps. (where he still is pretty cool) Also Shrine of Seals battle more than likely. Hardin (FE3/12): I'll pretty much take any version of Hardin, he's just so awesome regardless. This is just more likely to be a GHB while his FE1/11 version will probably be pullable. Walhart: Probably my favorite of the villains from Awakening, and really he would be pretty unique. Not to mention they really have many maps they can choose for him. Saias: It's only natural for a strategic genius like himself to have a brutally hard map to obtain him. Those are just five off the top of my head I like and could see being Grand Hero Battles, we'll see how things turn out as it comes.
  3. This is my order: 5. Raigh: I'm not really a big fan of him, he's so focused on being childishly edgy. He's fine gameplay-wise though. 4. Knoll: Interesting enough character, but a bit too squishy for his own good. 3. Niime: A rather enjoyable old lady with quite a bit of knowledge and power to back her up. She's pretty cool. 2. Sophia: I enjoy her quite a bit as a character, and I sometimes get some joy in turning her into a powerful unit. Won't deny she ultimately sucks gameplay-wise though. 1. Canas: He's pretty great all-around, cool personality, great stats, unique for his game and just generally interesting. The fact that he's Hugh's dad just adds sprinkles on top to probably the best dark mage in the series for me.
  4. Main Team: Shanna, Soren, Clarine, Alm. Other Frequently Used Units: Jeorge, Seliph, Fae, Cecilia, Michalis
  5. The Triangle Attack was present in all three GBA games. (Heck, it's pretty much the only reason to use Juno) Anyways, I think I'd like something of a return of the base system from PoR and RD, where you have time to sort out your assets and get hints on the upcoming maps. Ex: Talking to Elffin to learn of the legendary weapon conditions in Chapter 12. I'd also like to see something such as supports reflecting in dialogue, like if you were to talk to Fir or Noah if their supports were maxed to show that the conversation had impact. I think this could do a lot for characterization in such a linear game. Gameplay-wise... I guess the only thing I can think of is upping weapon accuracy and fixing the fact that Troubadours and Nomads are immune to Horseslayers. Maybe also cut down support grinding. Other than that I can't really think of much.
  6. I've gotten two, (I've glanced at others while on the wiki, but I'll just ignore that for now) Shanna and Seliph. I enjoyed Shanna's, hers was basically just wanting to be herself, even if that meant she came off as immature, while Seliph's was alright I suppose, he calls himself a coward, but points out that he'll still keep fighting as long as he has to, basically him being himself. I haven't seen the "Really" bad ones, so I'll keep my eye out for those.
  7. I like the feel of Echoes as a whole and how it can set up some simplistic, yet oddly satisfying maps. I think the story really hit it home though, it had a somewhat cheery start that slowly became a lot more moody and dark, but it transitioned well enough to keep me interested. I think it may be one of the best told stories in the series, and I certainly hope future games will meet it's standards. I think both went hand-in-hand enough to make me want to see the end of the game, even if I felt the encounters were getting a bit crazy in difficulty at times. Overall, I approve.
  8. I have a Archanea related one. Palla/Catria/Est recognize Zeke as Camus in FE2/15, and Sirius as Zeke in FE3/12, they just keep quite out of respect.
  9. I feel SoV's biggest strong point for me is how it improves the presentation, yet still keeps true to the original Gaiden. Gaiden was overall pretty fun, but there were a number of archaic limitations on the Famicom such as long battle animations, slow movement on the map, and a lot more. I appreciate how sped-up it feels, I rarely turn off animations because their still so much fun to watch. I appreciate the additions to the characters and story of course, but I'm most glad Gaiden got the overhaul it needed to keep up a good pace.
  10. I, like many, found the overall cast enjoyable. I'm gonna try and limit my choices for both routes to get straight to the point, but there were many that I liked for all sorts of reasons. Favorites Gray was a lot of fun in the story, while also being a nice medium between Alm and Tobin. I'm glad he's one of the most recurring characters when it comes to dialogue. Saber remains a favorite of mine thanks to his solid stats, but I appreciate how he becomes a trusted confidant of Celica's as the route goes on. Least Favorites Clive honestly irritated me with his growing distrust of Alm in Act 3, but his terrible stats pretty much sealed his fate as my least favorite. Jesse was just kinda there, I honestly found him kinda pathetic and hard to get attached to.
  11. Character-specific, I like that the "You fool!" line from Bartre and Gonzalez's supports became one of the former's skill quotes, and I like that Zephiel does the sword twirl like he does in FE6. Otherwise I appreciate the maps and how they correspond to a chapter from the main series, but condensed.
  12. I'm curious, how recent/old are these? They seem pretty interesting, that's for sure.
  13. I think Beck will likely be a Bow Cavalier considering New Mystery. I wonder if he'll bring any ballista-like skills with him. (I kinda doubt it)
  14. I'll go with AKIRA, (Hector, Lon'qu, Olivia, Raven) I like his bold, cartoony, yet serious feel he presents. I'm looking forward to whichever character he draws next. Special mention to Amagaitaro, (Clarine, Nino, Catria) though, his/her style really reminds me of the FE6 artstyle, which I'm a fan of.
  15. Hmm... I don't know, Soren seems alright to me, I can see him being part of a RES build, Ike is definitely the best of the four, (as we all probably expected) Mist is a healer... yeah she's likely to be low-tier like the rest, and finally, Titania seems alright I guess. I think most of these guys are gonna be pretty average, but we'll see as builds are constructed and tested.
  16. I'm a fan of the FE6 axe-fighter Lot, I find him one of the most interesting characters in the game and a personal favorite, but I do not deny that he has issues such as being a problematic (if still usable) unit and is overshadowed by several other interesting or more important characters. With this all out of the way, I wonder why he soared all the way to #88 in the series-wide "Choose Your Legends" poll, where he beat the likes of other popular characters such as Lewyn, Lyon, or Rutger. I'm even more curious as to why, as I saw no huge amounts of Lot praise in the fandom at the time. Why do you think this is?
  17. ErinysXNobody. Go get Hawk and Hermina.
  18. Ah, it seems the first map will show us the true power of Gaiden Map Design.
  19. I choose Join Us! because it always excites me whenever I recruit someone, and I frequently stall the game just to listen to it more. Comrades and Together We Ride (The FE11 version mainly and occasionally the original) come close though.
  20. The weakened portrait also has a weird face. It's kinda bizarre to look at.
  21. I've had normal luck as of late, so these are my pulls and promotions. Pulls: Seliph, Abel, Jakob, Jaffar. Promotions: Shanna, Jeorge. So 6 out of my team of 44. (minus the ones I sent home)
  22. I'm hoping for some bow knights to show up, we've gone way too long without one. Specifically, I'm hoping for Sue and Sin, but others like Wolf and Sedger, or Astrid are more than welcome.
  23. I had an idea of a wimp Lord. Someone who's actually a massive coward but is forced into the role of leader. I'd think this wouldn't be too much of an alienation from the standard Lord Archetype, and he could grow a spine as the story progresses so that he eventually becomes a great leader.
  24. I wanted to note something. I was playing through the most recent version, and once I got Elffin I noticed an odd glitch where once his bird starts chirping the audio suddenly went silent until it returned to the map screen. Has this happened to anyone else?
