  1. I don't know where else to put this, but I looked at the art again and was able to pick out the lineup of Engage heroes with some interesting Easter Eggs in their costumes. OG boxart Marth Celica Sigurd Leif Roy Lyn Eirika Brave Ike Micaiah Legendary Lucina (with the mask) Corrin Byleth Yet the Marth that appears in battle features the modern design? Jewelry is weird.
  2. Generally, if you can pop a game in current-gen hardware, it's probably a little soon for a remake. Then there are games like Paper Mario 64 and Super Metroid that are basically already perfect and don't need any alterations to their core gameplay.
  3. I might go with Fódlan based on sheer versatility. Anyone can make pretty much any weapon work. Give Annette a Bolt Axe and have her go to town on Low RES combatants, same with Lysithea/Hubert and Dark Spikes Τ that strike fear into anyone on a horse. Not to mention having three Lords on the same team, and Byleth, the ability to dismount, Personal skills, and Crests.
  4. Commoners Only--Show those Nobles! You can only use the following characters: Byleth, Dorothea, Petra, Dedue, Mercedes, Ashe, Raphael, Ignatz, Leonie, Cyril, Yuri, and Hapi. Also no Crest relics or signs.
  5. Oh, I didn't see either of those. That changes things.

  7. I'm just glad floating Female Byleth is canon to FEH, and she gets to be reunited with her father, yay! And even more Dragonflowers for my Stahl, Brave Lucina, Flying Nino, and, Brave Hector P.S. RNGods, Please give me Brave Marth/Eirika and three of these new units right away, so I don't have to agonize over the free summons for a whole other year.
  8. I'm inclined to say no because of his performance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and 4*, but I should to be open to giving the guy a second chance since I don't mind it that much in the actual FE games he's appeared in. *I don't know why, but I always found his "usual" Up-B voice clip grating for some reason, so much so that I would always turn the voices/sound off when I knew he was going to be in a match whenever possible, or only have him in Metal Battles and it briefly impacted my opinion on the character as a whole since that was my first introduction. Once Fates and Heroes came along, I was able to get to know him better. Ike's amiibo was even the only one I transferred from Smash 4 to Ultimate as of yet. It's the same problem I have with Fox in Smash 4 and Lucas, only it's their Star KO and Lucas's "occasional" KO voice clip.

  10. I had played the demo of Awakening when it came out, and heard about the series, but it was Robin and Lucina's reveal trailer for Smash 4 that really piqued my interest in it. I bought a used copy of Awakening the following April with some birthday money and have been a dedicated fan ever since.
  11. I would give all older units a massive upgrade with built-in skills and standards introduced later in the game (Ex. Giving Gaius access to either the Rally Up Speed or Rally Spd/x lines at 4*/5*) and retroactively give Heroes like "Nino: Pale Flower" and "Chrom: Knight Exalt" Ascended Hero status if possible. Have only Legendary, Mythic, Duo, Harmonized, and Brave Heroes naturally come with 4* skills Increase SP growth rate Streamline the Divine Code System into one Permeant & Limited-Time System (or at least converts unused LT codes into Feathers or something) Make all sparks accessible to all players Reduce banner bloating to get more new Heroes in Make it a point to go crazy with alts whenever possible. Take each version of Hilda (FE16) for instance: Axe Infantry vanilla, Lance Armor at Christmas, and Flying Staff Duo Captain in summer. Auto-expand the roster size as new heroes are added, so I don't have to keep spending precious Orbs every month.
  12. Give all enemies higher-ranked weapons and equipment, reorganize enemy squads, and implement a Mirror mode
  13. I know it sounds like a bit much to ask, but I really wish there was a feature to see which Heroes can pass down exactly 4 skills to a recipient when inheriting. Think about all the potential combinations I could be sitting on and not even know it.
  14. There's also the case of there being two Lorenzs (FE1 & FE16), two Hildas (FE4 & FE16), who knows how many Llyods (FE7 & FE13 FE14), three Morgans (FE6, FE13 Male, FE13 Female), and weirdest to me of all, two Ignatius's in two consecutive games (FE13 & FE14 )and two Cains (FE1 & FE5), although I think one might be spelled with a K). And that's not even getting into the various homophonic names like Leon (FE2/15) and Lyon (FE8). There's also the Kris incident, but that was just a personal thing.
  15. Gotta fill that Green slot with someone, unless we want two red units on the same banner which I'm pretty sure is a widely despised practice.
  16. Some personality gimmicks I've made are... The man who is incredibly nurturing childhood friend who wants to be a father Sage Jagen Wyvern Rider Paarthurnax Tiki/Nowi but male These next ones require a bit of explanation as they are meant to be the children of Three Houses students, so they follow the trend of children in other games of either being just like the main parent, the complete opposite of their main parent, or a unique character. Black Eagles Edelgard's daughter: Edelgard 2.0, but would have "Ally" skills instead of "Solo" skills in Heroes Bernadetta's son: Gets along well socially but has two left feet Dorothea's son: Male Dorothea, but his singing voice wasn't that great, so he turned to dancing instead. Blue Lions Dimitri's son: The wholesome classic Fire Emblem Lord Dimitri wishes he could have been, but still has hidden insane physical strength Mercedes's son *Spoilers* : Annette's daughter: Physical Annette Golden Deer Claude's daughter: Female Sword Cavalier Claude Hilda's son: Works himself to sleep in unexpected places Marianne's daughter: Embraces her Crest Lysithea's son: Studious dark mage who seeks vengeance against Those Who Slither in the Dark for what they did to his mother. Ashen Wolves Constance's daughter: Lives under a restored House Nuvelle Hapi's son: HR 999 Monster Hunter

  18. Look at hiiiiiiiiiim! Ahem. I don't care what anyone says, I'm calling it Season 5, and I am ready.
  19. Oh no, it's not that. I quite enjoyed it. It's just that the family budget only allows for so many games during the Holidays, and between Smash DLC, Origami King, Three Houses, Pokémon, and Kirby; there are bound to be a few releases that slip through the cracks.
  20. This'll be my third (not counting the AoC demo) following Hyrule Warriors and the original FEW.
  21. The hair and skinny ribbons give it away. It makes too much sense... (From her and Roy's B-Support): Larum: "Our love is eternal, and can never be broken!"
  22. Actually, if you look closely at Ingrid, she seems to have a water/ice thing going on. Mercedes has light, Dedue has a bit of Fire effects, Sylvain's spear appears to have both Light and Dark? Ashe has a bit of Wind I guess. The only one I can't think of one for is Felix.
