Hold up. Look at Marth's post for a sec. This is well before Rein outed his restriction, and easily showed that Marth's statement was right. My question is: How could you say that before anything had been established? I can think of one reason, but I want to know how you came to your conclusion so early.

The conclusion is the simple fact that it would be stupid to assume something like "Town can only pick town roles, mafia can only pick mafia roles." I'd like to mention that Rein first found it weird, and that if Prims could pick a scum role as town, how can he assume Rein is mafia immediately? For all you know back then, Rein could've just been town picking a town role and wasn't aware of stuff. And yeah, if you check the mechanics spoiler in OP, it doesn't state any linear stuff regarding restrictions.

Also my tone is different, yeah, but that's because I'm kinda pissed and I'm trying to be more assertive.

Also with Eli's claim I think risking a lynch with him would be a bad idea. Currently my options for lynching would be: Rapier, SB and Psych. I don't think a Rapier lynch is gonna happen but I do think he's scummier than SB because: 1) His vote on Eli was sheepish and opportunistic and 2) He's been more active than SB and is sheeping a lot regardless, not really contributing much. However, since SB is an ongoing wagon right now,

dude's town cuz scum with a high priority pick would have much stronger roles from other games to pick from, and would be able to converse with their buddies to find those games. only real worry is the potential of itp mentor but elie's play so far has been pushing himself in the spotlight all day, which doesn't match up with an itp who needs to survive early on

I think I believe Eli's claim. I mean I dunno, but Theatre doesn't really have any role that'd be good as scum and his restriction makes sense along with his claim. Unless we're getting a counterclaim I don't think we should really worry about him.

Also, I'm looking at SB's posts and he has been active lurking hard. But interestingly, he went from "Elie is just being Elie" to "Elie has gone too far" citing the fact that Elie stopped suspecting him for being scum when he hadn't said anything to the contrary. I'm not entirely sure how to interpret that, but I would actually guess a member of the mafia would be more thankful for that, so it kind of throws me off.

Someone said he could just be noobtown, and I think that could be entirely plausable, so I'll wait for him to claim and talk before voting. Right now he's probably my biggest scumread simply because all of his posts are like "I don't really have anything to say, I'll be more in-depth later" when that in-depth has never happened.

I don't have much time, so I'll clarify:

- Pokemon Tactical had Nidoking (nastiest JoaT I've ever seen on a mafia, and that includes GSM), Evice (mayor, three-time redirect), Whitney (Tracker/Watcher/Thief), and that's just the mafia roles.

- I'm relieved that no one chose something out of Disgaea. There's an active bomb that kills the user and two people of his/her choice in there, and can trigger during the day.

- I suggest that people read the games listed to familiarize themselves with them. For example, Kyogre in Pokemon Legendaries was. . .wait for it. . .modkilled town janitor.

NOW UNLESS SOMEONE HAS SUPER-PRESSING CONCERNS ON OTHER ROLES, GO READ THE PAST MAFIAS. There's some good stuff in the postgames, including player screw-ups.

Elieson, next time someone says PGO, can you not indirectly announce that you're a role that targets? I won't be here for phase end, because I like having a job. Vote will stay put.

So, I've been following along a decent bit, but not amazingly unfortunately. However, firstly, a couple of things.

a) I have no clue if I'm voting anyone right now, but to make sure ##unvote

b) This whole time I've been reading along, I've been thinking that Elie is town. His role restriction (lol doublemodkill reference) and pick make perfect sense to me and help to push him to a pretty solid town read in my mind.

I hate having people call for someone to be inspected. Makes me think they're scum who has a tailor. Especially with this setup, it'd make a whole lot of sense for the mafia to grab a janitor if they could. Besides that specific quote, there's a difference between being opportunistic and not being afraid to vote. You voted Elie with your only reasoning being that he was being stubborn and not letting go of the Prims thing. You never even really said that he was scummy. You just said stubborn. This was coming at a time when a lot of people were voting Elie and so you were able to just slip your vote right in there. One of my top scumspects.

I feel like you've been doing a lot of misrepresenting Elie's posts, and you've been focusing solely on Elie. It's like you decided that he was a bandwagon you could support and thereby not need to do anything else for the rest of the day. You'll be getting my vote at the end of this post because a) I think you're one of the top scummy people right now, and b) I think you're the most likely of my scumspects to get lynched today.

Not liking either Sage or Anouleth's lack of activity, but if Paper is ok with it...

I don't get what people were saying about Marth's posts, most of them look pretty good to me.

Alright, this is just what I remember. If people want me to claim I can, but I'd prefer to avoid it just cause claiming isn't always the best idea for town.
