alright i want everybody to explain their role choices right now

I gave you Mystery #Idon'tevenremember because there were like three choices left and this one took the least amount of thought to give to someone.

a) I don't like his reasoning about Weapons in his last list-post. The only thing he states about Weapons in the way of an alignment-tell is his Jalmont waffling (a scum-tell), yet he still says that he wouldn't support a Weapons lynch, just because Jal is scummier. This is odd reasoning. Why does Jalmont being scummier prevent Weapons from being a good wagon? Sure, you'd want to lynch a #1 scumread over a #2, but it's not like you'd be opposed to lynching #2 if that was also valid.

I had Weapons as a null read, so I didn't find him to be a good wagon. Jalmont appearing scummier was why I was more inclined to give WoMC the benefit of the doubt.

b) His reasoning for the scumread on me sucks. He talks about how I'm redirecting attention to SB/Boron/Shin, but the only time I ever talk about finding any of them scummy (other than asking Shin why he has no opinions and then later listing him last in a wagon consolidation order) is asking Refa to expand on his opinion that voting Objection for his RVS overreaction was bad. At that point, Refa was voting for Shinori- the same person I was voting for. Where's the scum intent in directing Refa away from the person I'd presumably be trying to mislynch if I were scum? Additionally, he talks about how Jalmont, Kay, and I all seem suspicious of each other in our exchanges, yet never actually vote for each other, even though I'd stated explicitly at that point that I thought Jalmont was more likely to be town than scum.

c) His reasoning for the scumread on Kay also sucks. First off, he talks about how Kay is scummy for defending me and Jalmont when in just the last paragraph, he talked about how Kay/Jalmont/me all seemed to be distancing ourselves from one another. The rest of his scumread is just for having different reads from himself even though townies are uninformed and can therefore be wrong (and often are unless you're me).

...Yes. Honestly, I tried way to hard to come up with scum reads, and as a result, found things suspicious that I otherwise wouldn't really care about.

e) His tone in almost all his posts seems to be really self-deprecating in a scummy way, because he uses it to offset his reads a lot of the time. What's also of note is that he wasn't even a little self-deprecating in his first game as town, and it makes no sense that he'd suddenly become self-deprecating after a game where almost everyone praised his play as being really good for a first-timer.

That's more because I reread through Jalmont's posts and felt that I was way too harsh on him rather than anything else. Not that I didn't still find him scummy, but rather I just wasted space going tl,dr; rather than giving more detailed explanations (and at that point, I was way too worn out to write another long post).

I did not long Refa's really long list where he gave reads on everyone, but then had like 2 sentences on jalmont and voted him for "tldr" and "changing his opinion," the latter of which I am pretty sure is not even a thing that happened.

I was referring to the fact that he changed his vote at least 10 times.

About purposefully lynching townies? That was based on the assumption that scum would give each other all of the key roles, but that assumption was later disproven.

And I've said before I'm suspicious of Refa. He's just done absolutely nothing since then so I had no reason to repeat my opinion of him.

Really? I made a ginormous post of reads, which people like BBM and Paperblade found to be scummy. Why wouldn't you use this in your arguments?

Okay, so, I reread Refa's posts. His earlier content actually seems all right and explained well enough, but he had a crapton of null reads in his last big content post.

Wouldn't it make sense for the majority of people to be null reads?

Null reads are okay when the game is still in the early stages. But by the end of D1 and at least by D2, if activity doesn't suck then all players should have at least said or done enough for you to have even a little read on them.

Also, I'd really rather not vote Shin, but it looks like you guys have decided to consolidate on him. Is there anyone else besides me you guys can depend on for a consolidation vote?

I went and looked at that post I was referring to. It was during late D1, and you had put players like Objection and Paperblade as null when you probably should have had some read on them, that was probably what didn't sit well with me. That said, though, you gave more town and scum reads than I had initially remembered.

Do something to make me unvote as you didn't yesterday. For what it's worth you and Scorri barely talked about each other and your opinions on each other. I suppose you were inactive for most of the day, but Scorri often criticised people's votes on you but never gave an opinion on you herself. This looks like she's trying to avoid giving a definitive opinion on you whilst defending you.

Found an interesting thing wrt Shinori: in #485 he says that Kay vs Boron looks like town in-fighting but then says that he is happy to lynch Kay not long after in #601. He also 180s on Boron in #615. Looks kinda paranoid and might be forcing a reason to set up a mislynch later, so I'd like an explanation for that. Also his result would be good.
