Why did Marth say scum is one of 3 ppl then do something rolerelated with Kay?

Whatever, before you lynch me, the reason I'm still dubious of Poly was how panicky he acted about Randa "outing" him. I mean it seems unlikely Randa wouldn't talk to his scumbuddies about doing that but it also seems unlikely they'd let him give up on evading the lynch so easily so it's still a thing.

Okay, list post.

- bearclaw13 eclipse : Probably Town in my book, isn't playing by her scum meta and while I didn't really feel any strength behind her Refa vote D1, it would've been a bad idea as mafia to vote your buddy,

- Bluedoom : Town w00t
- Elieson : Didn't like his play ED1, D2 he had less time to do anything thanks to Yours Truly and Poly turboing confirmed scum. Reads feel like they're inconsistent, hence I find him scummy.

- Eurykins : Also didn't comment on Refa D1 and went after Shin and Scarlet, then avoided the Randawagon D2 but that's acceptable considering it ended early. Not as big of a scumread as on Elie as of now.

- Kay: Confirmed Scum thanks to my report, unless mafia can make others fake visits, but I find that unlikely.

- Mitsuki : Bets are she's the last scum, since she avoided saying anything about Refa LD1 except "I don't see what's so scummy about him, eclipse's vote is bad" without further explaining. There's also that small post wrt where she gets a scumread on Randa because of a small reason that's p bad. Stresses on the word 'still' and somehow that small post makes him jump into her lynch priority? Best bet for scum IMO.

- Polydeuces : Town being targeted and framed by the mafia, lol.

- Sangyul : Vig that vigged. Considering the fact that she vigged Refa, obv!town.

- Scarlet : Another townie targeted by the mafia. Ascetic is meh but dat Scarlet vote from Randa p much seals the deal for me.

- scorri : Idek.

- Shin : Refa's interactions with Shin p much show that Shin is town, but if that wasn't enough, Kay's interactions with Shin are also telling. I know Kay hasn't flipped yet but I'm rn assuming she's scum lying.

- Shinori : If Kay flips mafia, he's cleared. If she doesn't, he's still almost cleared, unless Kay has a VERY GOOD REASON to lie about who she targeted as a townie, but I highly doubt that.

That would be partially my fault for not catching things earlier. Also find it odd that Marth says Eurykins didn't have much interaction with Refa, given that her interaction with Refa is why I'm wary of her.

Ofc the other interaction that pings me would be the part where she talks about Refa relying on meta a lot ED1 which I agree is kinda nitpicky. She didn't say anything about Refa in between those two interactions, and I feel having a say during mid-phase was the most important part.I re-read her ISO again and I'm trying to figure out if her Randa vote D1 was to avoid the main wagons or to actually push scum, though. Still better than Mitsuki though.

The easiest way to explain that (as I did in former posts) = SFMM4. His use of meta in the way he did this game pinged me the same way he did in the other game; that's the best I can explain it. I felt that a lot of his reasons based on the whole "meta" shinanegans were weak at best, and I found it very untrustworthy and kept dropping scum vibes to me. (Which is why I did not understand why he thought that I would've been reading him as "town or ITP", when (to me) ITP = Mafia scum (in terms of the vibes I get from them. Similar vibes I got = BB in Shining Force 3.) Maybe it is nitpicky, but I'm not ashamed to say that I trusted in my gut read (and the results reflected similar accurate results).

Also, my Randa vote was warranted and explained, so unless you're saying that my vote was weak or otherwise ill-placed, I'd prefer you explain/elaborate, Marth.

Now, I'm sleepy (been out/cooking all day for Mother's day shinanegans), so I may not get to re-read/post until tomorrow afternoon. Unless you guys are like, 95% certain in landing scum, try not to quickhammer, kthx. Kinda gets annoying when I'm either asking questions or otherwise wanting to reply to someone/people, and then come home to the fact that I can't even post up a response 'til next day phase (and that's assuming that I'd be alive to see said next day phase.). ;/

Sure, we've nailed two scum (and so, I suppose one could say "we can afford it"). Still seems frickin' rushed as all hell (and kinda annoys me to some extent). Anyway I'm Jailer variant. Roleblocks normally but only protects from kills. Targeted Poly N1 to roleblock him and N2 because I figure he wouldn't mind as vanilla, hadn't totally dropped suspicion om him but I doubt Randa would bus so I wanted to see what happened.

1. N1, okay, I can see the logic.

2. N2: Wtf kind of logic is that? "I figure he wouldn't mind as vanilla." Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but that's got to be one of the poorest logic I've seen in terms of choosing a roleblock target.

3. Did no one else ping your mind/priority at all? (Your night action seems like you had nothing else worth noting/running with, which seems kinda weird.)

Not really. I just know for a fact that you didn't visit Poly N2.

So counterclaiming Kay's visit to Poly, despite her saying otherwise. Kay, did you get redirected or something? (Though that in itself would've been told to you, correct?)

A QUESTION EMERGES:

Why did Marth say scum is one of 3 ppl then do something rolerelated with Kay?

My guess is that it's the classic redirect in terms of obvious priorities; god knows I painted my own out too clearly in SF3 Mafia. Though I am interested in why Marth did list myself, Scorri, and you.

Also, Poly's claim last day phase kinda seemed unnecessary (and it's not like his claim in itself really impacted anything, imo). Don't see the need to get all defensive n' shizz over what Randa posted, unless you have a reason to squirm.

It's debatable. Some would say he'd obviously not do so, to avoid putting them in the spotlight. Others would argue that hiding them in plain sight/outing them like that = easiest way to make us look the other direction. Imo, take what he said with a grain of salt- he could've been honest, or he could've been lying. Or, he could've been telling us a partial truth, and threw a scum member in amongst other townies. The simple fact is that we honestly don't know, and (at least in my mind), we shouldn't assume that we do know what he intended with the people he listed off in his post.

So... what you're saying is:

I don't really understand why you're withholding a response based on the fact that you're waiting for two people to post (one of which you even stated/asserted was pretty much "a lost cause" due to inactivity). I'm curious as to what your logic/explanation would entail, and so I'd personally like to hear your thoughts on it.

Hey, I have to head out in like ten minutes. I've had a brief skim of what's happened but I'll comment properly when I get back in like 7 or so hours. Kay's posting style seems off. I can appreciate that she's not on an actual computer, but, along with other stuff, she bugs me. I don't quite understand why Marth would lie about something like that when there are so many town left compared to scum.

Regardless of what Kay ends up flipping, I cannot see Marth pulling something like this as scum, especially at a point in the game when two scum are already dead and only two townies as well. Although … are we even going to do anything while we're waiting for Mitsuki and scorri?

I have no idea, but if I had to guess, I think I'm the only one who's willing to admit, in-thread, that I have an inkling as to what happened on N2. If literally everyone else is confused. . .good. The less clues scum get, the better.

Randa's last post looks like he pulled a bunch of names randomly and compiled it, with very little rhyme or reason. Therefore, I'm not going to take it seriously.

I WILL object to an early hammer - D2 kinda sucked in that sense.
