  1. I was gonna one-up you by mentioning the entire FE13 cast, but you specified Eilbe. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO CAREFUL. [spoiler=FE13] You can pair Roy and Tiki together right? That's still half a dragon more than his dad.
  2. The reality of the matter is, Eliwood is the least popular lord because of the faults of his design, whether it be boring personality, stat screwage or others, and he is shafted because he is unpopular. He does not deserve a spot just because he is the main lord according to plot, or because you like him. You just have to face the fact that Eliwood has problems and people don't like him.
  3. Meaty chip and stuff, useful in the three forced rout chapters due to decent siege tome offense. If you haven't bothered training any magic unit (which is likely because they are all shaky) she makes the best use out of your three or four siege tomes so far. She can also siege Levail though that's not really necessary. Too bad she doesn't get staffs, even though Micaiah gets it as early as second tier. 3/10
  4. Tanith comes with decent bases for a crown and does have the potential for endgame. She is one of the best units for both the Silver and Hawk routes in part 4. Desert is great for flyers and she actually has two range to handle the many snipers and crossbows. I don't think Jill/Haar doing it better is a valid argument here because they may not get used. In 4-2 she has great mobility and can fly over trees and other terrain, in 4-5 she can easily get a one-turn with rescue or just use the swamp greatly to her advantage to get power levels. in 4-E-1 she can flyer over the gap on turn 1 to snipe the siege sages and kill the other sages on enemy phase, and has canto to easily get into the vigor formations. The same goes for 4-E-5 and Tanith does have a good str and spd growth to use the Wishblade. She may want some Paragon help somewhere along the way, but she pays off great because she is combat-worthy stats on wings. 7/10 + 1 bias I give automatic +1 bias to all peg knights.
  5. Tanith probably wants Paragon and Nullify more, since she actually wants the exp to get into third tier and can be potent combat unit in part 4. She also has a much better shot of going endgame than Sigrun so having her catch up with Paragon is reasonable. I think it actually makes sense that Sigrun is worse then Tanith in stats. Tanith is the combat commander who trains the holy guard while Sigrun is the head who has to spend a lot more time dealing with administrative matters and political struggles.
  6. I caught a shiny Ralts once which I EV trained into a decent Gardevior. Blue Gardevior looks so nice. Too bad she had bad nature and IVs. I also had a shiny Zigzagoon once.
  7. To be fair I haven't tried raising her on HM, but having an extra flyer never hurt. She can certainly help with the rout maps, taking out sages/bishops and SMs here and there, and maybe dig for the hard to reach treasures too. She can also rescue Miccy to Stefan and carry Sothe around while your main flyers do the fighting. She can fight a bit in 3-11 and plug holes for other units to cross, and is also useful in 3-E for cleaning up once you have cleared out the snipers. Contributes in every map with zero investment required and has free deployment to boot. Plus she is amazingly hot. 5.5/10 + 1 bias I also like how she somehow managed to get to a respectable speed base despite having horrible growth and had horrible strength despite the growth being decent. Edit: Haha Ulki beat Janaff.
  8. Trust me, not gaining good exp in the early levels is not necessarily a bad thing. You can only gain so much exp before you pretty much cap and if you went overboard early you'll regret it later on. I learned this the hard way in 1-9 and 1-E, where I'll probably be last place for exp. <_< As for how I got so much exp, Miccy wrathkilled most of the bottom enemies, except one or two physical enemies that were in best bio who got taken out by Sothe and Volug. She also killed the boss. Aran was 3HKOing stuff in the middle platform, so he got a whole bunch of extra Cexp that way.
  9. Obviously when you are in best bio you are more in tune with the world around you, and hence can better hear the breathing of the coin underneath the soft soil of the mother earth. Obviously.
  10. I was playing competitive Pokemon on Smogon and fire emblem got brought up a lot. Either that or I just picked it up browsing random advance wars forums. It's been years so I really don't remember anymore. :/
  11. I spent 5 hours on bus/train today, so I thought up some interesting chapter designs and felt like sharing them. 1. [FE10] River Crossing, the main battlefield There will be two maps, one in the air like 2-P with allied Hawks and another a land map with allied beasts. The maps are stacked on top of each other. You'll have to press A+B to switch between maps and move units for both maps before ending the turn. At first your land units will have trouble and be playing defensively, until you rout the air map and all the flyers move to the back of the enemy lines in the ground map, killing all the ballista and siege tome enemies, thus allowing the foot units to cross and securing you victory. Totally not stolen from AW. 2. Deathtrap Your units start in the middle of a three-square wide corridor, surrounded on both sides by 'walls' formed by generals with awesome stats that have 1 move. You have the option of either forcefully blast your way through the multi-layered walls to reach the throne or break a nearly wall with 200 HP and circle around a long hidden passage. 3. [FE10] Defend from the low ground Instead of starting from a favorable position like most defend maps, you got ambushed as part of the plot and starts in a pit with unfavorable ledges all around. Enemies rush down the ledges from all sides and if you try to block them you'll get hit by the range attacks.
  12. Just realised that I lynched myself as Lancer. Awesome.
  13. This tier list is in dire need of links for lazy people like me.
  14. Well, Janaff never dies anyway. Maybe it gives a less risky 4-turn against Goran. It helps with unshifted exp training, but it's hardly reliable anyway. Ulki, slightly inferior to Janaff due to needing twice the Bexp and having less str to start with. Also never told Tibarn to shut up. He also has a worse growths spread so you won't be getting any Bexp str levelups. 8/10
  15. I'm just providing points on things Reyson can do other than being efficient. The GM does have units that need babying, and if you want to use them Reyson helps greatly. Heather may be 'useless', but it doesn't take the fun out of stealing stuff. And not everyone has perfect hit so a miss here and there is bound to happen eventually and having Reyson to cover it up is handy. There are other things too. If your heather died Reyson helps with picking up treasure, especially the rescue staff. You can make your units kill stuff and then position themselves better for enemy phase etc. And in the longer chapters a stoned Reyson is just so good to have. And the six turns Reyson saves are available only to Reyson. How many turns does Titania save exclusively? Maybe 1 in 3-P, 2 in 3-1, maybe one in 3-3. That's it. She helps the other chapters, but is certainly not the key turn saver like Reyson is. And Tits is pretty much 10/10 as an efficiency unit.
  16. Reyson certainly does more than just cut turns. He allows you to feed more kills to the unit you are babying, enemies who would suicide/run away otherwise. He allows you to do rescue-drop-steal with thieves, he lets your strongest unit cover a huge area in a single turn if you screwed up somewhere and needs a competent unit to clean up the mess. There are just so many uses.
  17. Of course! Thanks. I was thinking that since my self-lynch was an instant hammer as soon as a host sees it, it would maybe persuade the townies to change their minds. Obviously that didn't work. I probably should have fought back a bit harder...
  18. Yeah I think I have a much better idea of how to play this game now. I was way too cautious and quiet, both in night actions and discussions.
  19. That's what I said. :/ Maybe I should have exerted more confidence so people actually take what I say with any weight. But yay the town won! Even though I didn't do anything.
  20. Second best laguz overall behind Volug. Awesome stats and gauge, fantastic movement. Just needs one level for tear, which is even better than Naesala. Well Naesala is a cheater so eh. 8.5/10 + 0.5 bias
  21. I would give advice but people have already mentioned them. So instead I'll express my disappointment at the lack of Lucia.
  22. Best: Oliver While the other bosses are simply comedic, Oliver really takes it to the next level with his trolling self-recruitment and hilarious boss dialogues. Worst: Gheb Mostly because of the meme.
  23. He can save you turns if that's what you want, he can let you baby units twice as fast if that's what you want, he can get cats to grass and attack in the same turn if that's what you want. He can even chant 4 from turn 2 onwards if that's what you want. And almost no one has better claim on laguz stone than Reyson (whenever he needs it), because Reyson can help other laguz transform on turn 2 anyway, and he can help four. 9/10
