  1. Started new Smash game, chosed classic mode, saw character's selection: seven characters Hey, it's even less than in 64! That's what I call ultimate.
  2. Honestly Soul has been one of the more interesting things in this forum lately. Since acid rain in form of update and Discard damaged the forest, Soul's threads brought a little bit colour. He has been member since for a decade now (considered to make a topic to his 10th anniversary membership), so I would call him a "legend". He's an enrichment. Serenes Forest would be / is definitely less without him. His threads might be as dumb for the most part, but I still appreciate his presence. He's funny in a strange way. Maybe I can "smash" against him...
  3. I didn't manage to surpass box 4 with my lack on time during the week, so no Santa Jeanne. I really hope next event will be less luckbased and timeconsuming and rather like the Halloween event where the unit reward was totally static. I don't like RNG based rewards especially combined with time pressure. Still regarding plot the event was nice.
  4. cuuuuuuuute Do more Tellius cosplays, please!
  5. No one wants an interview, no one wants a christmas hat, QOTD is already down, Soul is banned. Serenes Forest has a really bad time right now.
  6. What the...!? Seriously I can't believe this was even a thing, and still is even if a biiiiiiit less tedious. This kind of quests has no real place in a RPG because they're traps for the players who will burn lots of time for non-trivial stuff. It's just an artificial as poor way to make a game long. Complaining aside the sidequests are the only issue I have with this game. Overall I really do enjoy it. And I think I could get used to the battle system for the most part.
  7. Luckbased sidequests are really sth I don't want and need at all. Overally I finally could do this shit (thanks to guides). I didn't expect that this quest would have a second part...
  8. I watched a guide where the first items were found on the second item seach point. I discovered about 100 over again and I'm still stuck with two. My main issue is that not fulfilling these quests will cause me more grinding since I'm really out of money and other ressources for the main quests, and regular fights don't give much of it.
  9. If something like this existed, I'd definitely buy it. I always have been interested in making FE terrain and setting the bases, growths and equioment of the allies and enemies. Since I don't have the time and technical requirements for romhacking, a FE Maker sounds a good alternative for me.
  10. Some quests literally confuse. There's one where I have to find some confuse item seven times on a field near Gormott. It's said it's grown next to trees. After like walking around for more than two hours and grabbing all the item collect points next to trees I've found no single one of mentioned above item yet. Is the RNG really that bad, or did I do sth wrong? Also the crane quests go on my nerves a little bit. All in all the earlygame sidequests could be a little more obvious.
  11. In my hunt for Ishtar I ended up with a Martha (new) and another Emiya who will become a NP merge. Not a bad catch, I'd say. Anyways I really enjoy the Christmas event. It has a really adorable plot, and unlike Heroes, I want to see how it's continuing.
  12. I was so bored by the latest banner(s) that I tried to continue my Surtr-hunt. Just needed 14 orbs to get his third copy. I'll definitely merge him since he is no good fodder aside of steady stance 4 which would be a total waste overall. I also manage to pull my first Silas from this banner, so I could also pass steady stance 3 to someone without regrets. However he has a decent nature (+def / -HP), so I'd like to keep him for now and make him an extreme enemy phase build.
  13. I'll support Surtr since mine is +2 already. Fjorm and Gunthráa are only base level, so they would be next choice for a Surtr loss.
  14. Actually the past weeks have been so good for me after years, but since yesterday everything went to ruin. If the Switch really can't be repaired, I'd have had a loss of almost 400 € within two days.
  15. Oooh, I didn't know the first part has been released for the Switch. Honestly I'd go for the classic then first. Though it requires to revive my Switch which fucked up for unknown reason.
  16. New month, new problems My Switch fucked up...... after seven days and less than a day of usage.
  17. I'm sorta considering if to buy this game because I need RPG food for my Switch. Is this a good game for someome who's not acknowledged with this series at all? I heared about it by playing Project X Zone, that's all.
  18. I know only the masters can be controlled -> Rex or Nia so far. However what I tried to say how to use elemental attacks with the symbiosed ally. Also I still don't quite get how to use combo attacks. I see sometime a command with a B in center, but I always click it too late. So far this game gives me hard time. It's not really beginnerfriendly for someone who hasn't this kind of RPG yet. And the disappearing tutorials don't help me either. I missed taking a lot of screenshots. It's not said it's a bad game at all, but for now I can't really enjoy it as I could if I figured out its gameplay.
  19. *cough* There are better Yukari images existing...
  20. First, thanks for the tips. Yes, I was told to make a screenshot of the tutorial since I have no access to read a guide book afterwards. I messed up a few time by forgetting to make them. Overall I think to understand the skill system (harmonic rings). It reminds me on Tales of Xillia's. However I still have problems with the combat system, especially in a duo fight. In the bossfight in the forest (when Nia shows up again), I didn't get how to control Pyra and let her attack with her fire sword the boss's weakness. Unrelated to the combat Xenoblade is a very aesthetic game in terms of graphics and music. I also like the accent of all the non human characters. It suits them.
  21. I'm not a music expert, so I don't quite get what you meant. I find most of FE10's themes rather calm. The only loud themes I remember, are the map theme in endgame 1-4 (which goes on my nerves) and Grasping Truth (which suits the atmosphere of the bossfight). Then again no FE game had a really poor soundtrack for me. I like synth beats from Judgral as much as string and piano themes from the latest parts. The main thing is that music fits to the situation.
