Honestly, with all the Jugdral banners we've been getting of late, I'd love for the green fire hero to be from Genealogy. I mean, if they had a Legendary Julia, I'd go crazy.

Honestly, the fact that Ryoma got a Legendary variant doesn't surprise me. What DOES surprise me is the type of unit they made him. I always assumed that if Ryoma got such a variant, it'd be off his High Prince class from Cipher and Warriors.

Honestly, I'd really like to see one of the Heroes OC's win a gauntlet sometime. I'll be supporting Fjorm for that purpose. And if not that, well..can't go wrong with Ike.

I gotta say, I'm glad they actually brought out a more unique theme rather than just doing an easy Bride VG and calling it a day. I'm intrigued to see the Heroes OC's go against each other. We haven't had any match-ups like that I believe.

This is normal. They normally appear 28 hours before. Legendary Lyn was an exception since I imagine they wanted to reveal her before the update.

I find Sharena's title in her new card curious. "Elder Princess of Askr" huh? Wonder if that's alluding something for the future of Heroes' story.

I feel like they might be trying too hard to make the recasted actors sound like the originals instead of letting them try to make the character their own. I especially see this problem with Hinoka. I think Cindy Robinson could do her a lot better if not for the fact that it sounds like she's trying to imitate E.G. Daily. Not sure if that's on her or the voice direction.

Honestly, it's kind of like how people got a bit up in arms about Leo's "Will you act like the adult you technically are?" to Elise in Fates. Localization probably wouldn't have had to try to make Elise seem a bit older if not for the fact that the girls in Fates actually do marry and give birth to a child (as opposed to the children coming from another world in Awakening).

I gotta admit....Tharja's artwork is actually not bad. Probably the first art of her I genuinely don't mind. Will it be enough for me to want to get her though? Who knows, but credit due when credit is due.

She's pretty much gone full union. I highly doubt we're going to see her around here again.

Funny thing is, judging by her short hair. this is her Path of Radiance version. In other words, when she was even younger.

A neat idea with some problems. 1. Characters lose any individuality (color palettes, victory animations) 2. Require a lot of grinding due to Level 20 being necessary. 3. Some add too little. Celica doesn't really need Aura.

Really? I keep hearing it suffers from similar problems to the original SAO.

I had hoped we might get another story chapter before we started alternating with the seasonals, but oh well. The theme for Tempest Trials intrigues me. Those have been becoming more story-focused of late.

From what's been determined, "Raymond K. Essel" might be an alias for Jalen K. Cassell. A couple roles I know him from are Krishna (SMTIV: Apocalypse) and Junya Kaneshiro (Persona 5). Now that's not official right now. Still being discussed at BTVA.

Something I've noticed. It looks like they have changed Loptyr to Loptous. Guess they wanted it more similar to the Japanese name.

Is it really all that weird that Julius is a red tome? He was likely to have the dark magic line-up after all. I know some believed the meme of him bring green because Arvis and Saias are red and blue, but come on....

From what I've read, Loptyr inflicts Atk-6 on any opponent who doesn't have dragon-effective weapons.

I see the Turnwheel as more of a thing to avoid cheap deaths, like those 1% crits the enemy just so happens to get. And I imagine the reason why it has so many uses in Echoes was to account for the dungeon mechanic since the uses don't recharge while you're in a dungeon. Chances are that, should the mechanic return in a game without dungeons, it'll likely be reworked.
