Just got the joke behind Drampa. Dragon+Grampa. I'm slow.
-
Drampa: Steel/Dragon
Except the other sources I'm reading say Normal/Dragon.
-
Ana called hard the water/fairy even if it look nothing like the dolphin she draw.
Except Bruxish is Water/Psychic.
-
I kinda like Bruxish, honestly. Although, I doubt it's going to have stats THAT good. Maybe on par with Basculin, or Seaking?
-
Drampa kind of reminds me of Valoo. I kinda like it.
-
...Okay...that's...honestly kind of hilarious to see.
-
I kinda would like it if they made the items that give you Marth's class, Lucina's class, and the ability to use Dragon Veins available.
-
I hope Smooth's remixes count. =I -
=\ I'm really starting to wish that Cavaliers kept the Discipline skill. Hell, at this point, I'd take it as DLC.
-
I was just waiting for this. -
About Porygon, he's a little easier to get on Blue, where he costs only 6800 coins rather 9999.
Do you have Blue?
Red and Blue, seeing as I need both to get a number of version exclusives that Yellow lacks. Namely, Blue has Meowth and Magmar.
Edit: I caught a Tauros...it was quite easy compared to Tangela.
Double Edit: I caught a Kangaskhan, too. It was a little easier than Tangela. All I have left is that second Kangaskhan, a Scyther, and a Pinsir.
Triple Edit: I actually wound up catching a third Kangaskhan by accident. Fortunately, I will be able to feasibly capture EVERY SINGLE POKEMON bar Pinsir in one run-through. I have a little over twenty steps, along with ten Safari Balls.
Quadruple Edit: Ironically, I caught Pinsir, but not Scyther. Unfortunately, since I have 0 steps left, I'm going to have to go back in to capture Scyther. I'll be doing that the same time I go to get Surf.
Quintuple Edit: Holy crap. I still haven't caught Scyther. The darn thing just either won't show up, or stay in a Pokeball. I can catch freakin' CHANSEY but I can't catch Scyther.
-
Oh, I see...
To be fair, other than the Safari Zone's Pokemon, this isn't too much of an ordeal, due to the smaller number of Pokemon, and due to the fact than many, many Pokemon appear in multiple routes.
Yeah, it's not all that tough, and I do have multiple versions of the game on two handhelds, so I can do that. It's just hard. Also, there's Porygon. =\ Still don't have it, yet.
-
Actually, there's is a much easier way to catch Chansey.
You can find it one the Cerulean Cave.
Just a reminder that I am completely insane and plan on having every single Pokemon, including Lickitung (another Pokemon that can be found in Cerulean Cave, and ONLY Cerulean Cave in Yellow) before I face the League.
-
Caught my second Tangela, and I have enough steps and Pokeballs that I may actually be able to capture every single Pokemon in one go.
-
In Pokemon Yellow, an Area 1, Chansey is level 7. In Area 2, Chansey is level 21.
-
You probably caught it in another area. I caught it in Area 1.

Also, I finally caught a Tangela.
-
I decided to look up the catch rates of Chansey and Tangela. It's retarded.
[spoiler=Chansey][spoiler=Tangela]
-
What really sucks is that, since I'm essentially doing an uber-completionist run, I need TWO Tangela. One to keep for my own, and one to trade for a Parasect. Yes, I intend to complete all the in-game trades. Yes, it's simply for kicks.
Edit: He either doesn't get caught, or I throw ONE rock at his face, and he flees. -
Yes, but Tangela? I mean, jeez, I can't even get the darn thing to shake in the ball MORE THAN ONCE.
-
So, I'm in the Safari Zone, screwing around the first area. Conserving my steps as I try to catch all the Pokemon I can. Somehow, I've managed to catch all the Pokemon in the first area that I haven't yet caught (by walking in the tall grass and fishing in the water nearby)...all but one. SOMEHOW, I can't catch a Tangela. Hell, I'm having trouble just FINDING the damn thing. Know what the sickest thing is? For every FOUR Chansey I've found, I've only found ONE Tangela. It took me like, two or three tries to catch a Chansey. Tangela? I'VE TRIED TWENTY TIMES TO CATCH A TANGELA. WHAT THE HELL.

Literally just hearing the music from Link's Awakening and seeing the Wind Fish has made my day.
Marin looks great too, and I like seeing how she uses the Sea Lily's Bell. I was also not expecting that Linkle would get the Pegasus Boots, but honestly, I kind of like it. It's nice to have some sort of martial arts into the mix. -
I don't know whether or not I should feel impressed, bad that this is now probably going to be considered the equivalent of a wall of shame, or both.
-
This was my reaction to finding out the Fire Rod was in the game:

The Witch DLC has a unit that appears holding the Warp scroll. Therefore, Warp can be taught to men. Much like the Vanguard DLC has Aether, Heavy Blade, and Veteran's Intuition scrolls.

I love how, the very morning after I finish this super-monstrous team that is meant to be a total dick to people, they announce this thing.
