All gripes about Fates aside, that I agree with, I do have a kind of shell of an idea. I haven't played Crimson Flower yet, so I might have to add stuff from it when I do. Byleth meets up with the church peeps first after timeskip, and eventually they find Claude and the Alliance using Garreg Mach as a base. Gronder happens like it does in Azure Moon, only with an extra church force added, a few casualties happen but eventually the church army gets the other three to surrender. Dimitri of course is not too keen, but Fleche kills Rodrigue and Byleth and Claude are able to get him to listen then. The armies separate. Enbarr is taken later by the Kingdom and Alliance in a pincer attack, Hubert swallows his pride and gives out the location of Shambhala over allowing Edelgard to be killed, and convinces her to turn against the Slithers. Cue Shambhala raid and Nemesis returning to be subdued by all three factions. War ends. Three nations remain intact with their respective leaders, so no, Claude doesn't fuck off to Almyra here, although he does still open Fodlan's Locket and start a friendly trade route. Dimitri supports the reconstruction of Duscur, sending apology food/supply boats monthly which eventually have to stop because they start relying on their "supper boats" a bit too much lol. Dedue earns the title of Duscur High Chief like ten years after the end of the game. Byleth becomes archbishop of the reformed Church of Sothis and Edelgard is fine with this because the new archbishop is making it so the church doesn't have absolute power. Brigid thrives as well, Petra chooses an Adrestian to be her husband (I'm saying Caspar) and that is an incentive for good relations between Adrestia and Brigid. Twenty years after the war, the Officer's Academy gets a new batch of students, house leaders are the heirs to their nations again, but Byleth's watchful eye keeps them in line and avoids another war. This assumes that the Byleth picking one house to teach thing wasn't there, and instead, all three professors taught subjects like rl ones. Manuela teaches literature and history, Hanneman teaches math and science, Byleth teaches combat and tactics. Haven't read the rest of the topic btw, be nice to me.

Simple question. I follow Zelda Dungeon's facebook page and there was a post about the Malo Mart song in TP and how people seem to either love it or hate it, and I remember I never upgraded Malo Mart enough to hear that song. And then I realized: Malo Mart would have been perfect as a World of Light shop! Beedle is already there though, so that's the Zelda coverage for the shops. Shops and dojos seem to cover most, if not all, the franchises well. But which ones would you add if you could? If not Malo Mart, I'd add Kecleon Wares to the shops, run by the kecleon shopkeepers from the Mystery Dungeon spinoffs. Mystery Dungeon, and Pokemon spinoffs in general, get no love in Smash. Mystery Dungeon has amazing music guys, and it's getting a remake, please check it out. To come with Byleth, how about dojos run by the three lords? If only one, then Claude seems most likely judging by personality alone. But I'll list all three. Dimitri: Blind Spot Style - Ups dash power, downs jump height Edelgard: Armored Style - Ups attack and defense, downs speed Claude: Flying Trickster Style - Ups speed in air, downs attack on ground EDIT I forgot about explores! Feel free to do those too. I'm thinking Guildmaster Wigglytuff from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for an obvious (to anyone who's played PMD 2 anyway) one, and for a less obvious one, Juju from Xenoblade. Wigglytuff has you explore the Waterfall and Juju has you explore the Plains.

Yeah, I guess that wasn't the best term to use. I suppose I can ramble a bit here to how I have her in my ficverse. It's canon that Linhardt removes Lysithea's implanted crest to save her life if you pair them. He could take out Edelgard's too, but she's stubborn and refuses. She dies at like early 40s from kidney failure, which is how I'm saying implanted crests kill. But for years afterward, her son will think "okay, what would Mom do here" before every decision. Out of the lord kids I created, Astor is probably the most fun to work with and I didn't expect that. He's got a lot of Hubert in him and he's basically a spoiled brat. More of a daddy's boy, which nobody expected, especially not Hubert himself. Which is a good thing, because when Edelgard passes, Astor still needs a parent to go to for support. He's early 20s by the time but that's just a baby compared to Claude and Dimitri who are still on their thrones. Edelgard turns out to be a decent mom. She'll call Astor her "eaglet" and he's got a giant eagle plushie in his room at Garreg Mach, he acts like mister tough guy edge master but deep down he's homesick. He was basically told Rhea was corrupt and that's why his mom had to do what she did, but Byleth is fair. So basically what I did was add some family fluff to make Edelgard more likable than she was to me ingame.

To be fair, some Edelgard debates end up with those two views and no inbetween as well. She's much more gray morality when I write her, I hope at least.

Yeah, this is a thing. I don't mind those tropes as much because him and Fiora are just the sweetest thing I've ever seen and they get the best kiss scene omg. I also haven't played many RPGs besides Pokemon and FE. As for Violet Evergarden, I'm not big on animes so I probably won't watch it, but I have never heard of it before now.

This is a great one and I also have high functioning autism! So does @Anacybele. Ike is a good example, as is Frederick, although Frederick probably has high functioning autism and Ike probably doesn't but that's just me. Similar is the introverted and/or nerdy heroes. The only example I can think of this is Shulk but there are probably others. I swear he's my spirit animal and seeing him succeed at romance gives me hope for myself. Him and his canon love interest are so stinkin adorable together. Nerdy introverted male + spunky sassy female = opposites attract, yes please!
