  1. What if Kamui was given Manakete powers? As far as I know, no Manakete in past games has had the power to literally alter terrain, nor was it mentioned in lore.
  2. I suspect that the amiibos will add Robin, Lucina, Ike and Marth Einerjars with odd skill combos, nothing really substantial.
  3. 1. No marriages unless the relationship is within character development like Neimi and Colm 2. International Version is one cartridge which is $55 3. Flawed Characters that grow over their supports (this actually might be good in context of the two versions, the characters are the same for the most part, but their supports are different, meaning that characters end up being more fleshed out) 4. Don't remove Weapon durability 5. More vertical maps and more map gimmicks (Dragon's Vein might alleviate this) 6. More types of Magic and specific weapons like Haleberds and Reavers. 7. Hoshido and Nohr have unique weapons that offer style 8. Character customization is expanded with more skin colors, eye shapes, nose shapes, body types and voices as well as hair colors and shapes (color of armor might be symbolic though, dunno about being able to change that. 9. Accessories to decorate the other fighters because why not.
  4. I'm pretty sure there won't be DLC beyond the third path (though I'd probably buy it).
  5. I seriously think Marriage (because unless there's time travel/Time skip nonsense, there's no children, which was part of the point of the relationship system in Awakening and FE4) isn't coming back in this game but there will be platonic S ranks and marriage S ranks.
  6. What? The endgame portion of AA5 is quite explicit (and partly due to the enhanced detail on the 3ds for crime scenes) in comparison to the other endgames. When I saw that part, there was no question why the game got the M rating. Anyway for this game, I'm pretty sure the rating increase has a bit more to do with a slight increase in explicit cutscene violence..
  7. Most likely T in the U.S., likely due violence (Guys getting shot up with arrows) and fanservice (lol Camilla).
  8. This game will probably be one nasty thing to preorder physically, you're better off getting digital this time.
  9. She's probably back on the reins of messing with our game runs with lovely RNG in addition to the secret shops.
  10. I recall that there was a twitter account opened for this game, I don't think that it will be as in depth as the Splatoon or Xenoblade X Twitter accounts but I think we can expect quite a bit of info from there especially considering the game comes out really soon in Japan.
  11. I'm hoping for a $50 full release of both versions if not then a $30 release with $20 DLC.
  12. The CGI cutscenes I recall were made by an (extremely talented) outside team to the people working on the gameplay, so I don't think this will be an issue.
  13. I think awakening's DLC is really stupid from a pricing perspective sure it had a bunch of free content but as a whole, the marginal value of the product to number of chapters bought actually decreased the more you bought stuff, which I think is a horrible way to handle DLC. In comparison, assuming that he Japanese Website is correct in the content of the two versions, FE: If would have the same amount for less using its business model and the marginal value of the product goes up the more you buy from vanilla (the other version +3rd path = $70 total which is less than the price of all of awakening's content) which is great for two reasons, one, the consumer gets a larger end product and the producers gets more profit due to the nature of digital distribution. As for the TCG codes, I simultaneously hate it and couldn't care less about it. Why? Its like the Einherjars from Awakening which were basically cosmetic DLC that barely impacted gameplay. I hate it because its exploitative of Fans, but companies in the media industry have been doing stuff like this for years.
  14. I believe its information on the Japanese Website "Limited opportunities to gain experience and Gold" There could easily be an "overworld", but it could be entirely linear. But either way the path's structure seems to take care of the complaints of the world map structure.
  15. I think art style is more what you're asking for, everything in the game is 3D CGI made to look more like 2D anime (and in games like SMT x FE, the difference can be almost indistinguishable).
  16. Yes Nohr will be straight linear progression like the majority of old FE titles. (They claim this as a difficulty boost with limited EXP, items and funds)
  17. In all likelyhood, given that Nintendo probably expanded the budget on this game and the two versions thing, there might be at least twice the amount of CG cutscenes awakening had this time around.
  18. Gonna probably spoil the story for myself, don't really care.
  19. Wouldn't this kinda defeat the point of a world map on the hoshido side if there are no paralogues? Even still that's a bit of a stretch to call, especially since the website mentions the "same amount of content" as awakening and not "same amount of story as awakening". This implies that paralogues in the vanilla version of awakening aka no free dlc added (which they also could do for this game as well), were also taken into account.
  20. I think that he's done a good job this time around with most of the character designs so far and to me that's most important despite some questionable designs in the past.
  21. Well if we take what the website says at a glance that both games contain roughly the same amount of content as a awakening, it means that there are 6 shared chapters of game between 41 chapters per version which amounts to potentially 75 unique chapters in total. The maximum amount of chapters in awakening was 73....for $85.50 USD...yeah the DLC wasn't very well priced (still bought it all lol). Add in the third DLC path for IF and the price becomes $80 USD for 110 potential chapters which vastly outstrips every FE game period and becomes a BETTER value the more content you buy that is we're strictly talking a chapter to dollar ratio. This is also my reasoning that Nintendo should just cut to the chase in other regions and just give us one version with both paths for the combined price point since its ultimately a better deal for the consumer. Also I think they're doing this weird DLC strat is to get more money out of the $20 path as if it were part of the physical product as $60, it wouldn't be as profitable (digital is generally more profitable than Physical). Ultimately, they planned for this game to have a combined price point from the beginning, the reason its this way is to maximize the profitability while keeping the intended price point.
  22. I'm treating this game as $60 release and I hope IS have packed the content to supplant this expectation, they've upped the production values of the game and probably the gameplay too, let's hope the content is up to snuff.
  23. I adore the music that they've shown so far, its quite moving.
  24. After what I saw of the mess with the Broken Chief Collection, I'm probably not even gonna think about buying an Xbox one, to think Microsoft insisted on pushing that game out into the market is asinine. Anyway, I'm treating FE:If not as a $40 standard 3ds game but as as $60 game instead and I'll make my judgement of the quality and content off that.
  25. I have strange feeling that the dancer might act as a similar role to C.C. from Code Geass.
