Millers if they're announced are a pseudo-clear (after a Cop flips or is confirmed) and are therefore useful to the town (until some host decides to like give Miller as a fake), and if they're not announced are bastard mod just like Mafia Announcers.

Mafia Announcers are like Mafia Alliance Checkers (in non multimafia/faction games), in that they serve no purpose to the mafia (though one could argue that Announcer doesn't serve any purpose for town either, but getting out last reads if you think you're going to die is kind of useful). The only reason people don't make Mafia Alliance Checkers to screw with people is because AC is so easy to fake as scum even if you're not one.

I remember thinking at that point that Godfather Announcer was too much moling.

I consider Mafia Announcers bastard mod. No seriously, it's one of those roles that's quite literally put into the game to fuck with the town because it's entirely useless for mafia other than that it's normally a town role. Except it's been done enough times now that people aren't as inclined anymore to automatically trust it.

Magus didn't need to sell out the Werewolf ever because town lynching harmless Neutrals is dumb, especially when there's a much more harmful third party on the loose (Cult). That was really the only part I genuinely felt frustrated about afterwards, because it made it impossible for us to kill off Elie until getting lynch control. And since Helios was Death Godfather, we would always be scared to out ourselves even after we had parity with the town, in fear that the mafia would kill the CL. Meaning even after we did have lynch control we'd be scared to exercise it to kill Elie.

Ambush/Wrath Arthur is less risky than regular Arthur because regular Arthur doesn't have the durability or skillset to take on groups of enemies by himself, while Ambush/Wrath Arthur does. Also, don't forget that because Lachesis is Lachesis, Beo/Lach and Fin/Lach are BOTH canon! So I guess it comes down to whether you want canon Delmud or canon Nanna I guess. Personally I prefer Beo to Fin because Beo can pass down swords to Delmud and Fin can't. But they're both decent. Keep in mind that pairing Fin also causes him to lose all his weapons when he comes back.

GG Helios. The setup was pretty interesting. My only complaint with it was the Werewolf and the Magus getting the chat set up for them. It made it quite literally impossible for the Void to get rid of the Magus. Werewolf isn't going to kill him, he has like 4x protection against the Void, and the town's wincon explicitly states that any parties other than Werewolves and Void don't have to be eliminated for them to win, meaning even if he'd claimed third and not town, lynching or vigging him would have been a waste. I'm not saying Elie didn't play well, because he did, but the Magus and Werewolf being teamed up like that felt unfair to me as Cult. My two nickels, since we don't have pennies anymore ;_;.

Now that I'm dead, people should claimtome for realz.

Alright let's do this. I'm the BPV Martyr, meaning I target someone and everything targeting them targets me instead. In exchange for this I have an extra BPV. So I could just idle and use my extra BPV for extra survivability, but I could also choose not to. Everyone claimtome with exactly why I should protect you instead of idling, and what you'll do for me in return. Hint: Saying you're going to help me kill Manix N1 is a good start.

Okay, work on Fakeclaim Mafia has officially started, since nobody has PMed with a completed set-up yet. A question to anyone interested in playing in this game: would you rather the roles be the the actual fakes, or would you rather the roles be based on the effect that the fakes had in the game, or some mixture of the two?

I doubt the advisors/Jeigans like Titania and Marcus will get in, tbh. Seth ~might~ get in, but more on account of being the major love interest (like Sothe) than on account of being the Jeigan. For that matter, I doubt Soren, Mist, or Ranulf will get in either. Elincia is already confirmed, I think? So are Lilina, Sothe, and Caeda. Ninian might get in. BK and Lyon will get in if villains are there, obviously. Really it all depends on how many characters they're taking in, and what they want the balance between SMT characters and FE characters to be. If demons are counted in this balance, secondary characters like Soren are more likely to get in, whereas if the balance only counts the humans in SMT, I doubt very many more characters than just the lords are getting in.

The OP lists Rapier as being lynched Day 6 instead of Day 5.

Frau has better growths than Mahter, but other than growths and flight, she's not amazing. I like her, but I'd recommend Sun over her. You don't particularly need three fliers if you're using Raffin and Mahter, and Sun is much easier to raise and gets Charge upon promo, as well as Geomancy/Luna at level 25. Frau gets Continue and Anti-Evil instead. Lyria's singing restores HP and gives a small chance to let her target move again. Her range with it also increases to around 3 or 4 as you progress. And then she's a Priest so she can just use regular staves as well.
