Wait, how does the Weapon Triangle work exactly?

I simply don't think the case against Rapier is a very good one, and I have no qualms with taking the fall for someone who, role-wise, anyways, could potentially be much more helpful to the town than me.

Okay, I reread Scorri's posts, and something about them doesn't sit right with me. First off, a lot of her early posts have a sort of snippy passive-aggressive tone to them where she's defending herself about her early play in trying to start discussion. Then she tunneled for a while on Weapons, and then dropped that sort of suddenly, considering the amount of time she'd spent badgering him about explaining is reads and stuff. The post that caused her to drop it consisted of only like two lines that were relevant to the game. It felt kind of odd. Then she jumped on Manix for the rest of the phase. D3, the posts she's made haven't been very dedicated to scumhunting either- one post against Manix and one post against me. If we don't get an extension, lynching her would be a late wagon, which I normally dislike, but I'd quite honestly prefer it to taking a gamble on Rapier if he doesn't show up in the next 6-7 hours.

Change it to a gif of some really angry-looking guy slamming the table, to signify a new, no-nonsense, aggressive playstyle where you yell at people and make them wet their pants. Or change it to a Hamtaro pic, I dunno.

You have to look at the reasons for making the remakes. The two reasons are to a)Allow people to "Catch 'em all" which is sort of the motto of Pokemon, b)To allow people to play all the games on the same generation of system, and c)Money Gen 1 was remade because it was literally impossible, no matter how many cartridges you had, for someone to have all 386 pokemon on one R/S/E game- there were a bunch from Kanto/Johto that were unavailable. They added the Sevii Islands to Gen 1 to have many/all of the remaining Johto pokemon that were in neither the original Kanto nor Hoenn. Then Gen 4 rolled around, and Pokemon progressed to the DS. D/P was backward compatible with FR/LG/R/S/E so all the pokemon were available, but people couldn't play G/S/C cartridges on a DS like they could with their GBA. Plus, many people were clamoring for a G/S/C remake because that was a lot of people's favourite era. So they remade that for the DS so people could play all the games on the same system. Now, B2/W2 have come out, and they're still on the DS. Meaning, if you had every single GBA/DS game or had WIFI, you can still legally have all 649 pokemon on one file. So what I'm trying to say is, until Pokemon progresses to the next system (3DS?) we're unlikely to get more remakes. My prediction is that one of two things will happen. The first, and more likely option, is that we'll have Gen 6 on the 3DS, then a Gen 3 remake for the 3DS, and then another Gen 1 remake. The second, more unlikely one, is that they'll end the franchise here, or stop creating new pokemon in newer games.

Well, I said that he could quite easily have a better role than mine because going by simple numbers, it's more likely he's town than scum, and if he's town, it's again more likely that he has a better role than me than that he doesn't. So... yeah. I'd prefer the 100% chance that you lynch a shitty town role like me than the 50% chance or whatever that it could be a power role. And before you bring up Manix's PR claim, Manix had had a whole phase of scummy posts that made his claim less likely, while Rapier has had maybe one or two posts that weren't even that scummy from several days ago. So IMO, lynching Rapier is taking a gamble. If Rapier pops up to claim in the next few hours, then depending on what he says, I'd be much less averse to his lynch, but eh.

That's possible, but I think there's a difference between laying low like Helios in EO or SB in SSBU, and not making a single post the whole phase. Anyways, since nobody really wants to lynch Core/Wen, and I don't want to lynch Rapier, I'm going to reread the thread to look for someone I wouldn't mind lynching over myself.

Questionable- if Rapier isn't here to defend himself, I'd rather prefer I get lynched over someone who could quite easily have a much more helpful role for the town than mine. And I honestly don't think Rapier has been scummy enough to get lynched without even hearing an explanation or claim or anything. Plus if Rapier really was online earlier, I'd think he would have seen messages from his scumbuddies telling him to at least make a cursory appearance so that he doesn't get lynched over what's basically inactivity.

Well, I think we've only got something like 8 hours left to go, so we should decide on a lynch target, and fast. I still think Core looked scummy, but seeing as he's just subbed out and only Prims wanted to lynch him anyways, that lynch is probably not happening today. Rapier's end of D2 actions aren't great, but I feel hesitant to lynch somebody who hasn't posted all day and has had no chance at defending himself at all (not even on D1 because I don't think anybody said anything against him then). He could easily have a power role that we could be mislynching. I would really like it if Rapier got forcesubbed for inactivity and we got a 24 hour extension for his sub to catch up on the game. Mods?

If I'm going to get lynched this phase, I'd ask people to look at my final list of reads after I die. Also look at the people who've said very little about me up to this point, because I feel like the majority of people on my wagon right now are town and that the scum are letting town in-fight.

Anyways, I think I'm at L-2 or L-1, so I might as well throw out that as my role is a passive one that cannot be proven and will not get anyone to stop voting for me. Therefore, in the unlikely case that I can get this lynch off me, divulging any further information about my role will only help the mafia, so I won't be claiming.

As scum, I'd take the 100% scum lynch of someone obvscum who'd most likely be lynched the next day anyways over the 30% chance that a scum member who wasn't looking scummy at all takes the fall. And whatever the result of the randomlynch, it's still closer to a universal loss for everyone, which is pretty risky.

Also, I just realized something. Going after the people who were cautious of piling onto Manix because of 4.1 is dumb because the scum don't want a no majority either- sure a randomlynch is normally beneficial for scum, but it can still go badly for them (ICBINSFMM2), and a second no majority is a universal loss, which means scum loses too.

Core/Kopfjager I have a strong feeling is scum- I don't like his actions involving Manix, and he said his top two scumreads were Aere and Manix, but his vote was on SB at the end of the phase. SB is just inactive and disinterested whether he's town or scum, so his actions are sort of hard to read, but I have a gut feeling that he's scum this time. I was kind of leaning scum on Scorri due to some D2 actions, but not sure. Not sure about Rapier either. Shinori was the only person, I think, who even attempted to defend Manix, and IMO that was a sinking ship that scum would probably have bussed hard instead of waffling at the end like he did. Maybe it's WIFOM or something, but I think he's town. Iris I think is also town because she pointed out that Weapons had previously said that my arguments against Manix made me look less scummy, and then switched. I think if she was scum she would have just kept her mouth shut there. Prims/Paper/Strawman look townie to me because the majority of their posts have been pretty logical and been backed up well. It would be good if Strawman was more active though.

These are the extent of the posts that I have that, IMO, are attacking Weapons. If defending myself counts as nothing, then a more apt description of my activity this phase would be "Has BBM even done anything this phase?", not "Has BBM even done anything this phase other than attack Weapons?", which makes it sound like I've been tunneling Weapons all phase when I really haven't. Also, in this post: you make it sound like I made an argument against Weapons earlier, when I didn't (or certainly didn't mean to, in any case).

I wasn't aware I'd attacked Weapons before this? The closest I came to it was asking why his opinion of me changed so suddenly. My previous posts this phase were attacking either Marth or Core, or defending myself.

That's true, but Aere also disappeared for most of the phase- I'd even forgotten that Aere had been so vehemently arguing against Weapons until I reread the thread. So scum might have thought that others wouldn't pick up on it. Alternatively, it could have just been a random kill, but in my experience, the mafia don't generally pick a target at random.
