there's been absolutely no sign of an ITP and one doesn't really make sense with the numbers; the bit about potential *YLO in the rules could be for any number of things other than an ITP. @Elie- but like you said, Shinori's role crumb was completely unnecessary; TG was getting lynched anyways. Overkill is the perfect term- his info wasn't necessary and could easily have been a bus. I don't think it clears him at all, and when you pair that with the fact that other than a small burst of content on D2 he's basically done nothing and popped up only when people prod him, he's feeling worse and worse to me. ##Vote: Shinori I'm also becoming more and more wary of Omega. Despite complaining that both of his two main scumreads was inactive, even after one of them got an active sub, he did absolutely nothing to read them or question them or anything; he essentially replaced "gaius" with "ocean" and kept doing the same thing, nothing. TBH I don't know which is worse but a vote on Mancer isn't going to get any sort of response from him probably. If you guys are finally cool with lynching mancer for breaking his content-promise three days in a row now I'm more than willing to consolidate there though. I think my scumlist is Mancer/Shinori > Gaius/Omega atm.

Odds of a 3rd party are pretty low. I feel like you've decided that neither of them are town and are trying to think of a reason for that interaction. Is there anything that tg has done that actually resembles itp behaviour over mafia behaviour?

@crysta- so is elie scum if he didnt get tg to claim? Also I don't buy that elie thought there was enough time for a wagon reversal with this activity even if she had claimed. Yolo seriously how hard is it to say whether you think tg is town or mafia?

holding it against you I don't think mafia TG points to town Shinori. In fact I think it would be the opposite if anything. He didn't vote her end of D2 bc he didn't want to put her at L-1, even though there were less than two hours left and really we weren't going to do anything else, which directly led to TG escaping the lynch. His votepark today doesn't really counterbalance that because it would be pretty safe to assume that TG would get lynched today after she was supposed to be lynched yesterday. Also, it bugs me as I said that he only seems to pop in when people call on him, and it also bugs me that he forgot about Crysta? He was super on her case D2 and hasn't even mentioned her today. IMO if TG flips scum I want to lynch between Mancer/Yolo/Gaius/Shinori tomorrow; I think they're most likely to be her buddies. what's that you say I just named almost every single potential lynch target SHUT UP.

Jk i read the posts. Never underestimate my commitment to mafia Ocean, if elie and tg are buddies why does he vote her on d2 and still go 'meh i dont like it'? He couldnt have foreseen that town would fail at securing hammer despite his vote. If he was going to bus her, why hedge?

@eclipse- I assumed it would also trigger upon a lynch in addition to a NK? Also this ability is pretty useless for an ITP; if you get killed, then you can say whatever you want after death but it doesn't help your wincon; you're just being petty. I was going to read people last night and then I fell asleep. Out of the UNHOLY TRINITY of inactivity that is TG/Mancer/Gaius I'd probably still lynch TG or Mancer over Gaius. TG is still scummy for all the reasons she was yesterday and Mancer has promised at the start of two successive day phases that he would contribute before flaking. At least Gaius was there and actively contributing prior to subbing out. SF as a mafia community needs to start holding people accountable to their promises of content and setting a precedent of lynching people for not following through. Omega makes a good point wrt him switching from eclipse as a townread in D1 to being a scumread in D2 only on the basis of her read on him. I was going to go COUNTERPOINT HE DIDN'T SCUMREAD REFA FOR CASING HIM and then I remembered that Refa was dead. gg Omega, I'm not asking you to talk about townreads but it bothers me that you're only talking about TWO people when a) the scumteam almost certainly has 3 people and b) you don't think those two people are scumbuddies. Like, okay, you're going to come out and give a "full scumteam guess" now, but how can I see any sort of thought process behind that if you haven't been actively questioning anybody? @omega- I think more the former than the latter, although tbf I disagreed with most of her reads sooo I'm thinking the scumteam is between TG/Gaius/Mancer/Omega/Elie. I just got home so I'll look at them more in a bit.

I agree with the last omega point. I was thinking about this during the night phase and I feel like he hasn't bothered trying to update reads. His last post before deadline honestly gives me the feeling that he's not even reading people other than mancer/gaius unless specifically pressed.

Pretending her role was strong, that is. Although i guess they could have thought it was the trinity but not if mancer is scum.

I think that what eclipse was referring to was her tree-stump trinity power, not her role power. But SB confirmed my instinct that there's scum utility in the trinity ability. She did a good job pretending it was super strong to get the mafia to kill her though. Mancer, TG (and to a lesser extent via), give times by which you'll be caught up and able to contribute. I'm not interested in giving anyone a pass without some measure of accountability. I'm pretty annoyed after the no lynch, particularly at shinori/via. I'm phoneposting atm; I'll post more when I get home.

Sb, would this ability let someone speak in any out-of-thread conversations? Basically would a (theoretical) scum member of the courage trinity be able to speak to their buddies after death using this ability?

oh yeah I missed Eclipse's question- I think it's hard to do harmless ITPs in a small game because they'll just side with whichever side has the slightly more favourable numbers and make it really favourable for them. Like if it was 9/3/1 they would make it 9/4 or if it was 10/2/1 they'd make it 11/2. FMPOV, and I admittedly don't know your trinity power, 3 pseudo-confirmed town players just doesn't make sense. shrug. we'll see. I'm suspicious of Gaius bc of his stance towards Mancer, who was one of the top scumreads in the thread. He's kind of just like "man these cases suck" without saying what he thinks about Mancer himself. If he'd said straight out "I don't think Mancer has enough content to analyze" that would have been one thing but instead he just avoided giving any opinion. Then when he finally did it was waffling again, like "Mancer's sheep was bad but he was sick so it's not enough for a scumread"... and then he put him at the bottom of his suspicion list anyways.

There have been a lot of posts and cases made against TG since the last time you said gaius/mancer; you can't just keep to what you said like 24 hours ago. And speaking about Gaius/Mancer; why are you forcing a dichotomy here? Gaius refusing to take a stance on Mancer and then finally placing him at the bottom of his priorities could easily be a scumbuddy interaction. @eclipse- but she's just using refa killspec as a springboard to decide which people to look further into; it's not the sole reason for reading anyone. Her actual TG case has nothing to do with that. It's like if you say "man this wagon sucks" and then go reread everyone on the wagon, which I KNOW is something you do. The only difference between her TG case and the Crysta interactions are that the latter aren't in the same post as the one where she talks about why someone would want to kill Refa. Via, are you reading the thread?

oh yeah- Shinori, what are your opinions on Eclipse's thoughts about your trinity power? I'm guessing you don't agree that it's super-town or at least super not-mafia like she does, as you think Mancer is suspicious, but I'd like to hear your perspective (w/o giving up info on the ability)
