sigh why must I effort

I'm sleeping soon but these are the feelings I got when I was loosely following town terra- paranoid as fuck and I disagree with like all his reads that I bothered reading but he's still town, putting in too much effort arguing against kirsche when kirsche won't be lynched for at least a few day phases kirsche- obvtown bc he started the entire process of trying to get claims way too early; to the people who think he's scum, answer me this: do you think scum trying to pull this gambit would do so without consulting his buddies? he asked for claims like 12 hours into the phase man; his entire play is way too incautious and reckless to be scum scum sb- my main problem with SB is how he's treating this entire kirsche thing; he's just like "I disagree with claiming but others can do what they want". this is not town SB; town SB would try to convince others about his opinion. This meta is a little old but it reminds me of C9++ where he just said things but never tried to convince anyone and kind of just coasted. I get he's having internet issues and stuff but idk he just feels too unmemorable. his logic is fine but logic is not a towntell, sorry to disappoint all the people townreading sb blitz- these are kind of vibes but I really didn't like how his first post of the game he went out of his way to explain RVS to newbs before any of them even posted; reeked of trying to be overly helpful. this is super ed1 but idr anything he's done after and it's stuck with me waffling paperblade- post more; it is over 24 hours into the phase and you are not yet obvtown; this is very worrying via- I haven't ISOd or anything or followed very closely but since the blitz stuff early and a rapier vote that I thought was decent when they made it, it doesn't really feel like they've actually said anything; just kind of sat on the rapier vote

But what is Noish killing even with the Pursuit Ring? I've never given it to him tbf but I can't think of anything off the top of my head, Chapter 3 is like... cutting through a bunch of enemies in front of Madino (who're mostly armoured IIRC), the Cross Knights who are ranged, more armoured enemies in front of Silvail, wyverns, and the Orgahill pirates. He's only killing the pirates in 2 hits, and they're really bad. Chapter 4 is a bunch of mages that he doesn't want to take a counter-attack from and pegs which I guess he's good against. I don't think he'd be very good against Lamia's crew at the bottom, and then in Chapter 5 he can fight the axe dudes who're also kind of meh, some bow knights whom he can kill on PP, some wyverns that he doesn't 2hko (some of whom also have Horseslayer) and then the desert, which he isn't entering. The Pursuit Ring lets Noish kill the Orgahill pirates, who may be the least threatening enemy mob in the game, and the axe knights.

Finn has 9 base speed with a 30% growth so I don't see how he doubles much more than Lex without a Speed Ring? Finn kills more stuff in C1 I guess but Lex has Elite so he shouldn't fall behind in levels. Granted that the Pursuit Ring is worth more than the Speed Ring and Steel Lance; it's just that I don't see who makes better use of it other than maybe Leaf? Noish certainly doesn't; if the argument is that Lex can't ORKO armours with only 2 hits, Noish most definitely can't either. Noish uses weaker weapons and has worse STR so all he has going for him is lighter weapons and skill procs off his shoddy skill and speed stats.

If we're giving a bunch of resources to Finn so he can go from pretty good to awesome then I think it's kind of sandbagging Lex to give the Pursuit Ring to Noish to make him go from mediocre to pretty good rather than making Lex go from pretty good to awesome. Also the Hero Axe has only 12 Wt, which is the same as the Hero Lance. Lex also has +1 Spd over Finn at base and only -10% growth so if Finn is quadding then so is Pursuit Ring Lex. Lex's SKL growth is bad but he has a base of 10 and the Hero Axe has 70 hit, which is the same as, say, the Light Sword. Maybe I overuse Lex or something or have gotten blessed Lexes but I have never run into half of these problems you guys do with Lex. The biggest problem I've ever had Lex face once he gets the Hero Axe is being too tanky to get attacked.

Lex doubles most of the armoured units pretty well if he has a Pursuit Ring, and with 4 hits he ORKOs them. I feel like that's more useful than just leaving it to Leaf when he's mostly just getting kills fed to him anyways? I've never managed to get Leaf promoted at the beginning of C8 though so idk if Pursuit helps with that.

idk like I've never had problems with Lex ORKOing non-armored non-sword units? And he's a pretty good candidate for the Pursuit Ring too, since Levin doesn't really need it and Cuan is leaving at the end of C3 anyways, and Altenna doesn't need it either.

Horace, I don't think Finn ORKOs with the Iron Lance (I may be wrong) and if we suppose for a second that Finn deserves the Steel Lance more than Cuan, then I kind of have to wonder why you think Cuan is better than Finn? If Finn gets the Steel Lance then he's better than or almost as good Cuan for Chapter 1, and probably Chapter 2 once he gets the Hero Lance too, which is better than Silver Lance!Cuan. Cuan has more concrete durability and 1 more move but Finn has Prayer and better offence bc Pursuit, and then once he promotes he's better than Cuan in pretty much all aspects, so all Cuan has going for him is Prologue. If you give Finn the resources to be better than Lex, I think he's better than Cuan too.

I don't think it was impossible for the mafia to win from their position but all things considered I don't blame them? I don't know if they had fakes given to them but their roles were all pretty scummy too. Also I can't believe anybody ever suspected Eury; this was her most obvtown game since SF3. Didn't anybody read my post on how to read Eury in the Well???
