i looked at this and realized I don't actually like any of the first half fe4 characters i guess finn? but if we got more fe4 i'd prefer more second gen stuff after getting these 4 we'd have more gen 1 than 2 characters so i think more gen 2s would be more likely anyway for the next time they add fe4 stuff

not too into any of these 3 characters, but i like ayra a lot, so i'm really glad she's here. hoping her art's good i'm glad erica mendez voices deirdre cause she likes fire emblem a lot and I remember once she was talking about how a lot of her friends are in fire emblem and it'd be cool to have a character in it too seeing these characters in designs that aren't extremely 90s is still kinda weird to me but sigurd's head is shaped just like in fe4 so that's still kinda funny i kinda want sigurd for close def 3 but I might just spend the orbs from the chapter trying to get minerva or shanna

i forget everyone after they've been gone for a few minutes so I don't miss anyone unless i'm reminded of them somehow

i've never played birthright or revelation, but I liked echoes' story the most, mostly because of the characters (i think awakening's overall plot is better, but i didn't feel nearly as invested) i didn't really like the gameplay of conquest awakening or echoes much compared to most other FE games, but echoes was definitely the one I had the most fun with so that'd be my choice for gameplay too. for worst story I picked conquest, mainly because it was the only one of the 3 I played where I just didn't care about it at all. awakening's plot was pretty boring overall and tried to cram way too much into one game, but there were plenty of moments I enjoyed and I liked chrom a lot as a lead character, even if his decisions by the end of the game are... questionable. conquest on the other hand I can barely remember any of aside from one moment which I remember for being bad (the bit where the fish randomly shows up and dies) i also liked conquest's gameplay the least, although I did enjoy the first 10 or so maps more than the equivalent of that in most other fe games (and probably the other 3ds games i played). but past that the gimmicks started to reach the point where I wasn't having fun anymore with stuff like the ninja cave or the foxes and I ended up stopping around chapter 20 something.

ah yeah, that last one must've been what I recognized him from, a friend of mine has innes as her leading unit and i've gotten him in the gauntlet a lot the way he says "I'll be at your side" here is a lot like how innes says "I'll keep you safe" his voice was probably my favorite thing about him so it's cool to know he's in this game too shame his character doesn't seem to be playable, but maybe he'll make it into a dlc later on

frederick's mouth looks so weird voice acting seems pretty good, especially owain, although "owain dark" doesn't feel quite right does anyone know who voices the tall dude at the beginning? his voice sounds really familiar to me but i'm not sure where I've heard him before

really? they still call her a princess in fe3/12, and her ending says that she "renounced her claim to the throne", implying she never becomes queen maybe i'm missing something though i'm not too knowledgable on archanea stuff

i feel like this might be a commonly mistranslated word, cause echoes actually has the same mistake, where the whitewings call minerva their queen once or twice, despite her never being one

honestly the most memorable one to me is probably this, although in the remake I think clair was the only character it was used for recruiting i guess it still counts though? i think it's supposed to be more of a theme for the deliverance there, but I still really like it i can't really remember many fe songs in general outside of echoes or radiant dawn, but I remember liking the one from sacred stones too aren't they just used at different times? i remember when recruiting sirius and ogma, the first version still played
