  1. "Ah so you're one of them" she stated pulling out the daggers she'd received at the bandit camp. "In that case, it doesn't surprise me that you'd defend them" she said slowly thinking it over, it was possible the youth spoke the truth but unlikely considering the soldiers had no reason to attack the town. Even the bandits who had been picked to carry the torches were all young weak kids who'd joined the group due to certain circumstances from what Reika had been told. To think the soldiers had wiped out the group of kids. "From what I hear" she lied, she knew since she had seem them go off "your so called bandits were just a group of orphans traveling to seek refuge. She'd thought about her argument, and despite being ragged looking, they were essentially kids younger then herself, and it wasn't at all uncommon for anyone to be carrying around a weapon these days. "What proof do you have that they were bandits?"
  2. Reika's smile disappeared as the youth made his accusation "Funny you should say that, I was going to ask you the same thing" she stated. (At the first accusation) But her face darkened at the mention of Halton soldiers, "Are you saying they didn't?" she said mockingly, there are witnesses who have seen the soldiers light the fires, and their motive for revenge is good enough. What evidence have you that it wasn't them?
  3. Reika stopped when she noticed a green haired youth heading the way she had just come, it was the same boy she'd seen in the crowd earlier who had mysteriously disappeared, yet here he was again running towards the center of town, or possibly even the western bloc, either way it didn't look like he was escaping the flames and anyone who wasn't fleeing looked suspicious, "Though I guess I'm not too different" she said to herself before slipping out of the alleyway she had hidden in and blocking the youths path. The youth seem to recognize her, or at least think her suspicious enough to stop. Reika smiled a smile which seemed completely oblivious to the burning houses around her. A sickly sweet one which would make many people question her sanity considering her settings? "So.... where'ya off to mister?"
  4. "Is everything ready on your side?" asked Jones as Dalton came hurrying back. "Yup,all dem small cute little things crackling away" replied Dalton who clearly was pleased with himself. Jones laughed as they left the outskirts of town, he'd been busy putting the townsfolk they encountered to sleep, while Dalton had been putting the Jones's plan into action. "Haha, this should be a good one" Jones laughed as he sent Dalton out of town and waited for his plan to begin. Reika sat down in a clearing and looked up at the sky, "bloody useless bandits" she mumbled angrily. It was true that she hadn't calculated how the groups number had doubled, but even then they didn't stand a chance, Reika had slipped away unnoticed before the bandit leader had fallen. "Behind me, ha" she said to no one in particular. "Now to figure out where to go." she stood up and dusted herself off.... Something was wrong, she could smell smoke. Looking at the night sky again she saw a trail of smoke comming up from her left. Had Group C set something on fire? She ran towards the town and as it came into sight she gasped. The town of Darian was aflame, and it wasn't just one fire, but multiple fires blazing madly all over town. Worried she had caused the fire by suggesting her plan she hurried to the blazing town. People were running around anymore, others were lying motionlessly on the ground, and Reika didn't need to guess what was happening to those inside their homes. As she couldn't see a single house which had been spared from catching on fire. As a young man tried to rush past her Reika grabbed him by the shoulder "What happen here?" she asked urgently. "Let me go, I don't know anything, I woke up and my socks were on fire!" He shouted throwing Reika off and hurrying away. Sighing she asked a woman who was hobbling away, she seemed to have burned her legs. "Do you know what happened?" she asked gently but the woman didn't have the answers Reika wanted. Reika paused, the flames seemed to be strongest in the western bloc, thinking it was safe enough for her to go she was about to speed off when a shriek went up from her right. "Halton soldiers!!! Those damn soldiers came back and set our town on fire!" she looked around and noticed a man shouting loudly as he ran off towards the outskirts of town. She grabbed the mans arm and yanked his attention towards her. "Are you sure? They started the fire?" she asked hopefully yet disgusted, if it had been the soldiers then it wasn't her fault, but to think these men preached how they could be trusted to them just a few hours ago. Jones restrained himself from smiling "I saw it with my own eyes, they started the fire!" the few townsfolk who had remained to protect their houses started panicking most dropped whatever they were using to put out the flame. "You mean this is their revenge for being kicked out of town?" she asked Jones urgently. "I think so, they were attacking townspeople and accusing them of being bandits" Jones said shaking his hand free, figuring he'd given the girl enough information he turned to leave. "I was going to stand up to them, but a shaman of my skills wouldn't last a second he said turning to go. But Reika had already vanished.
  5. Sorry, needed sleep >_> When I said I wanted activity, I didn't mean while I slept XD Ah well, it works nicely either way for what I had planned.
  6. I'm going to have to agree with Kai, Not too impressed by the recent silence, and I partially blame Ether and Cynthia from going from several posts a day, to one every two days (if that) >_< They ran away at the same time as Mike which doesn't help, considering they're pretty much the main characters of the RP at the moment. (Moreso Ether then Cynthia) *Continues to flame Ether* What's the deal Ether? You're around, just not posting, got bored of Rp'ing already? Or did I scare you away? To be honest I'm considering dropping out of this and looking elsewhere, since I have no intentions of staying on a sinking ship. I know it doesn't help but I'm too impatient to wait for things to pick up again (if they ever do).
  7. @Kai, There's no rule against having Npc's so you should be fine, though whether Ian can have stats or not is really completely up to Snowy. My concern would be how you switch the two, in and out. You can't exactly have Mark tail the group the whole time, and appear conveniently when you need him, and make Ian leave at the same time repeatedly. (I think at least anyway) But if you think you can realistically switch the two I guess I could thrown in a few scenario's where one or the other decide to stay behind. I however still don't think over exerting yourself is a good idea unless you plan to be really active from here on out. I wonder what's keeping everyone busy, It's as if everyone's losing interest XD Also start the damn battle already XD
  8. ”Very well" Reika stated unhappy with the mans choice, but she wasn't going to jeopardise her chances at getting back at the witch just for a little bit of pride, plus, if the bandit's went in first then she could take the easy pickings for herself later. "However, keep in mind that these "women" would seem to think of as housewives are the same women who killed your brother and his entire group." she stated not really caring anymore, she'd lost interest in the man the moment he had shown kindness, she needed someone heartless, someone cold and calculating, and acting on greed and desires, not this outdated philosophy. (OOC: Torches are heading to town, and are visible to the players)
  9. There's only one group that can be considered main :/ There's the Damian group, and that's it. I'm going to join up with my other two characters Dalton and Jones but that's only 3 and they're all controlled by me, Likewise Helios and Mark are in the same boat I am, (just not the same side) If I somehow misinterpreted the comment and your talking about the enemy, then Group A is the main, Group B is reinforcements, and C is a random assortment headed to town. Not sure what you're talking about either way. :/
  10. I hate you! Not your characters Ether ;) I have Reika to hate those XD I've actually started that myself with my latest post, found my own posts hard to read when I went back earlier, as well as lots of randoms words and typo's in my posts Ah well now that I have 3 characters, I suppose I'll have to do it, or risk having people quote one of my two halfwits as Reika's words. I'll try to get it right, but if something seems wrong with the names. It's probably cause I got the names mixed up, I'm not really attached to my two bandits and probably will end up killing them off once they've served their purpose. Nyahaha, my forces rival yours now Ether, Morgan,Ether,Aiya vs Reika/Dalton/Jones XD The rest seem.... neutral to our whole war XD @Snowy: If we're attacking them you might want to introduce the bandits. Otherwise someone else will have to spot the bandits wondering around the camp and pursue them. Mental note: Next time, don't reveal the plan in a public post XD
  11. ~Continuing from the Signup thread~ The post definetely made them better, but again they're only talking amongst themselves, (monologue) which is at the moment, not your fault. Everyone "over the hill and far away" Helios has motive for chasing after the Main group (CrimWep) so he shouldn't suffer too much. I know you read my flaming opinions after posting, but I'm glad that Mark actually has emotions, the part which indicated he may question his loyalty in future was especially appealing. I'm also happy that they went to town instead of the camp. I'd recommend you stop naming everyone though XD Like I said, not many people care for these "original characters of yours and Anna (lol at FE ref) really didn't need a name. I also find it questionable that Helios knows the name of the barmaid when he arrived at Darian by chance. She'll have a role if we return to Darien in the future, but I think that's unlikely. Regarding "power-play" you need to keep in mind it's restricted to reaction, you're not going to say "Damian led the charge into battle" but putting it into a thought form "Reika looked over at Damian and could see he wanted to charge right into the bandits" If you limit it to thought and your character there's not much damage you can do. The one above is probably one of the more imposing ones, and Ether could just counter with, "Ether wanted to charge into battle, but his senses told him not to" or whatever. I'd leave power-playing at the moment and focus on making relations with others, (a bit hard now that we're soon to be engaged in battle) EDIT: Also, Kai, Did you just teleport Mark and Helios from town to outside town? Since Town and Damians camp are.... well not exactly right next to eachother.
  12. Firstly, I just want to make clear these are my issues, and may not reflect what everyone else considers "improve". The following is in response to Kai, but can apply to anyone really. -Interaction: To be honest, there's a limit to how much you can explain with your own characters, it's like reading a script about an invincible hero who in never phased or surprised by anything. Everything you do is pre-planned by the owner of the characters, and anything they can't think of, simply doesn't exist. If we take Damian (Ether's character) we really didn't get much info out of him for awhile, the information in his bio (sign up) was pretty good, but a bio/background is never enough to keep the character interesting for long. Hence you need to start talking to other people, this is an RP, not a fanfiction. Throw other characters the oddball, and make your character interact with others. I'm not saying say "Hi my names Nadesico" and leave it at that >_> Be more personal, delve into their character, as if your aiming for a support with them. (And if they get offended (them, not their character) then they're idiots and should go off and write a book by themselves. -Lifespan/Importance: It's important to decide on your characters role, if they're role is "because I want another character" then you shouldn't make another character. if you think the character is necessary for development of plot, or your other characters development then that's a good reason but unless you can give your existing characters personality, they're essentially the same as a villager that gets mentioned once. Or the rock I was sitting on a few minutes ago. They're not interesting. And alot of current Rp'ers seem more interested in telling their characters story/past to the Rp'ers when no one really cares. I mean, would you be interested in the history or Random Villager A? -Power-Play: And for a change in RP topics I recommend it, if you interact with a character enough you'll start understanding their resonses, clearly you won't get it right, but if I asked Damian "Lets go steal money from those poor people" then it should be obvious what Damian's reaction is. Whether he follows or not should be left to the characters owner. However you can write something like "Reika noticed Damian looking at her with contempt" If you don't know how they'd response you could add something like "Reika thought she saw Damian scowl at her suggestion" -Relationships: No, not the lovey dovey ones, the general ones. Look at the other characters and choose who your character is going to get along with, and who they dislike hate. In my case I picked out Daimian and Aiya since Reika had a dislike towards authority, I didn't really know how well everyone else Rp'ed and as a result refrained from choosing someone I liked. As a result I have now sided with bandits XD -Character: Don't let your character be a bland rag doll, they're going to have likes and dislikes and it's not limited to people, no one performs outstandingly in all areas, and you need to remember your character is not the "hero" of this RP. They are a sub character just like everyone else, so think carefully before trying to give them the limelight. It's important to make your character stand out, but making them seem like a superhero who is capable of anything is definitely not the right way to impress. The easiest way to build your character up is to interact with others. You already know what your character is like, but no one else does. And for them to really be in the RP beyond an occasional post promoting their greatness, people need to interact with you, and they're more likely to do so if you've interacted with them yourself. "Eg Morgan is more likely to talk with Aiya and Damian, then say... Helios" Equally but on the other side of things Morgan would be likely to respond to Reika as well, (just not favorably) -Flaw them: Or alternatively Floor them! and grind them against the ground until they bleed! XD A perfect character blows, regardless of what anyone says. Taking examples from characters I see as quite well developed. Morgan: Kind of has a moral issue, a bit like Reika in the sense she'll do anything to get a favourable result for her, even if it does involve stealing when she's not a thief If a peasant pisses her off, she'll probably warn it aggressively, and if it persists she may even kill it. In Damians case, he may not kill the peasant but he may get very annoyed. Aiya: The short fuse, she's relatively quiet due to being a subordinate of Damian, has morals but there's a limit to her patience, one which doesn't seem very big. While you(reader) may not consider it a fault, Aiya seems to have a love interest in Damian, which can be used in many ways. Love clouds the mind, and she may priortise her love above the greater good. And if Damian dies (I wish) then you can just see how... violent & crazy interesting she could get. Damian: While he's adopted the virtuous "I fight for my friends" attitude, he's also shown he can be quite... emotional. He was used as the gathering figure head earlier so if there's a hero in this RP at the moment, it'd probably be him. -Dark and emo characters: Are not cool -_- "Wooooo look at me! I'm all dark and mysterious" get really old, really quick, and unless you can follow it up with something the character tends to die in "The pit of the ignored". If your character doesn't have any emotions, then you might as well kill him now. "Kai Specifically: Killing off Celia as a playable character early on really didn't do you any favors. Alot of the points above refer specifically to you, Helios isn't a bad character, but he's literally had no interaction with anyone if we exclude characters that aren't controlled by you. Solution; Now that you've met up with the main group start making connections. Another major issue is his story, at present it doesn't feel like anyone cares about Helios's pastas royalty except Mark(your own character) so these long monologue posts (talking to yourself only) aren't really doing you any good. You need to build character with a past, sure. But if no one knows who Helios is, then all the history in the world isn't going to make him interesting. Mark hasn't developed any character at all, and he seems as important as a random bandit at the moment, he's like a generic soldier who follows his master around, it's to be noted he's still relatively new, and hasn't had the chance to prove himself, so I'm waiting to see how he progresses. While I'm ranting I might as well comment on the other characters as well. Esphyr: The emo swordswoman, "My life sucks" "this sword curses me" "I'm so miserable" XD I dare you to tell me I'm wrong It's her character and that's fine, and her interest in a method to destroy her CrimsonWeapon gives her character. A decent character with room for improvement (7/10) Michael: He's owner is apparently away at the moment, but his character isn't fleshed out too much, he seems to just nod his head and follow the opinion of others, (generic soldier?) though him agreeing with Snowy on the bandit issue gave him some character. Seems to lack purpose (in life?) Gold isn't a bad starter but you'll need to think of something more then just "he want's money" (5/10) Irina: Hmm, solid, but nothing really interesting about her yet, I'm assuming it's because you're posting times haven't been ideal. She has a goal, which will help later, but at the moment there's nothing really interesting about her (6/10) Kelas: Hmm, many problem is lack of posts earlier on, and not being able to successfully interact with anyone yet. There's also the fact that everyone seems to want to ignore her, I mean come on, she's in the middle of your camp and it's not clear if she's an ally or enemy Hence Kelas hasn't really got a chance to be a good character yet. I recommend making her the initiator and starting a negative (or positive) relation to someone. (4/10, but hasn't really had a chance to get any better) Rayton: Well he's also new, not really sure about him yet, there's a hint of god-modding, but it's too early to say at this point. However his immediate interaction and relationship building with Esphyr was impressive (despite it being negative) and I'm looking forward to his actions based on his dislike of Esphyr in the future. (6/10) Think that's everyone, if you disagree I'm willing to argue any points :P Again, these are just my opinions, and aren't necessarily fact. However I'm pretty sure that character interaction is lacking in this RP at the moment. EDIT: If you died, or left Ether this RP would have fallen apart, and as I said above I consider your character essential at this point in time, and would actually be disappointed if you left.
  13. Pretty sure the Fire and Thunder tomes are still free, and the axe as well. Arcturus Mengsk? Starcraft fan? XD You don't need to get Snowy's persmission for something like that yet, just change your application to say Mengsk instead. (Edit) It'd be a different story if your character had appeared in the RP already, but since it hasn't (Pretty sure, cba looking) just change it and jump in. Also, I really like how everyone just popped up in the RP, I didn't know Irina had followed them to camp, and the fact Helios and Mark can find it so easily makes me wonder what sort of place you guys set up camp. I was kind of hoping that Helios/Mark would join up with Rayton and take on Group B, but I guess you people aren't thinking any further then a full frontal charge. Honestly, if I controlled the battles in this game I'd penalise your stats after the second wave on the grounds that you're confused. Though I anticipated something like this to happen, and have a plan for this scenario as well, :) Looking forward to how this develops. Ether died?
  14. "Dalton? Dalton!? Dalton you bumbling fool, where the hell are you?" A small flimsy looking man called as he wandered around the pretty much deserted camp, "Stupid good for nothing" he mumbled angrily as he looked for the man he called Dalton. Everyone else had already left to prepare according to the girls plan and here he was looking for hairy bald man who had the intelligence of a 3 year old. "Damn oaf" he shouted into the darkness, anger getting the better of him. "If you don't show your ogre-like self right now I'll curse your sorry self all over again" he waited but only reveived the eerie silence that had settled around the area, all the nightlife(animals) having sensed something and fled, even the insects had gone quiet. Sighing he gave up and sat down, closing his eyes, he had planned on making a name for himself in this battle, and was hoping it'd be enough to give him a higher rank then a grunt. It had only been a yesterday that the deputy had laughed at his suggestions. Yet here they were listening to some strange girl. He licked his lips imagining what he'd be doing to her tomorrow. But was quickly brought back to reality as large man stumbled into his line of sight. "Dalton you big bufoon where the hell have you been?" he shouted loudly, angry that it'd taken so long for the man to show himself. The big man smiled, a big childish smile that only made the man look dumber then he actually was. "Guess what Jonesy, guess what?" he said childishly hiding his hands behind his back. The man called Jonese rolled his eyes, part of him wanted to blast the huge mans head apart so air could get to his brain, but now wasn't the time, "nevermind what, we need to go" he stated angrily standing up, "everyones gone and you'll regret it if there's no more spoils by the time we get there." "B-But Jonesy it's really good" he whimpered crestfallen. "Argh whatever what is it? You're more useful on the battlefield when you're in a good mood anyway" Jonese muttered giving in. Smiling like a child again he thrust his hands out, in one of them lay a brown ball of fur. "What is this?" Jones asked irritated, he'd expected something a bit more then a fluff of fur when Dalton had said "good".... something like, lets say a wandering village girl who had strayed from the town to meet with her forbidden love. Dalton however smiled oblivious to Jones's irritation. "A bunny!" he stated puffing his chest out with pride. "I can see that you half-wit! I'm asking what's so good about it! And you don't expect me to believe you caught this do you?" he asked losing his temper. Dalton dropped the rabbit's body and covered his ears. "It's not my fault, it was hurt so I picked it up and then it stopped moving" he blurted out, on the verge of tears. Jones sighed and picked the rabbit up, he'd wasted enough time, "Lets go" he said turning around and marching off, he examined the rabbit on his way and rolled his eyes, surely enough there was some sort of wire tangled around it's feet, but it wasn't the cause of death. He rubbed the rabbits sides and sighed, It's bones had been crushed, no doubt by Dalton and his idiocy. Having lost interest in the thing he tossed it back at Dalton, "Hurry up, if you catch me this witch that the girl spoke of then I'll buy you a new one." he shouted irritated at seeing the man still cowering on the floor. "Really?" he asked removing his hands, "I want a pretty white one, with big ears and fur and big feet" he said all excited now. Jonese sighed "Yeah, yeah whatever now go catch me this wench, and make it quick, they're probably going to launch the attack any minute now" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Reika sighed, they'd been ready to attack for awhile now, but a few stray bandits had either fled or gotten lost. The leader too seemed as if he had lost his patience, and his expression told Reika he wouldn't wait much longer.
  15. Hmm, I'm not sure what the maximum number of characters are but I'd say anymore then three is ridiculous (Characters that have stats) I'm not sure if you(Kai) having three characters is a good idea since Helios is pretty much a nobody, and Mark (still being new) has been used so little that he might as well be a random villager. I know I was the one to make a third character first, but if you hadn't guessed, they're goons, or character I couldn't care much about. And if I'm to side with the enemy then I wanted some NPC's I could control without having to worry about asking Snowy each time. I think you should work on developing your characters a bit more, cause at the moment the old man that kicked everyone out of the Darian has as much character as Helios and Mark combined. But it's up to Snowy what he'll allow, I didn't get the thumbs up for Jones either :? More characters aren't exactly good... what I mean to say is that a whole pool of nobodies is more of an irritation then a benefit. Personally I'd think two characters each, and an exception for a third if necessary, up to Snowy though :/
  16. "Joy" Reika thought as the bandit grabbed her by the shoulder, despite it being over her clothes she could tell his skin was slimy, and the mans breath seemed to confirm her thoughts. She smiled weakly as she was trying to fight the urge to vomit again. Fluttering her eyes and looking away, "I wouldn't mind both if you can capture the Enemies Shaman alive, She's a woman, so I don't mind if it's after you and your men have had their fun with her." While Reika didn't like the men at all, but she had planned to go with Group A anyway. (OOC: Might just be me but the number of bandits seem.... small :/ Well I guess they are stronger though, I'll let someone else start the battle since I can't be bothered connecting my post with going to battle)
  17. OOC: Please note that it is not possible to engage the bandits yet. (Snowy these announcements yourself >_>) 'theonefate' for future reference please keep in mind bandits or any npc in the game do not have stats unless they have been reviewed and accepted by Snowy. (Ether and Kai should probably take a note of this as well as I recall something about Damians soldiers having stats) If you want to fight bandits for plot reason, or just wanted to kill something then you can do so without the usage of stats. I suppose that the ambush is pretty much screwed over now, so I'm just going to go with the flow instead of waiting to see if Snowy wants the last few posts ignored. For now I'm going to make Rayton run away since the battle hasn't started yet, and I doubt Rayton wants to take on all the bandits by himself anyway. Reika arrived at a shoddy looking camp just as a man started screaming as loud as humanely possible, hadn't that bandit who'd employed her said this was supposed to be an ambush? Hell they could probably hear him in the next village over. As she had expected Small dots of light lit up in the direction of Darian. If the townsfolk could hear it, there was no chance that their targets had missed it. Regretting her decision to team up with the bandits already she drew her weapon, planning to at least kill the bandit who'd ruined the groups plans, but the man who looked as if he were in charge beat her to it. With a sickening thud, the injured bandit fell to the ground dead. The camp full of bandits began to mumble amongst themselves in uncertainty. They'd probably lost the element of surprise by now. As she looked up her eyes met with another pair of eyes in the dark. Alarmed, she threw her daggers at the figure, but her attack had apparently missed. She searched the dark for the eyes again, but they seemed to have already fled. She hesitated, she wanted to go after the shadowy figure but without proper weapons she didn't think she'd stand a chance. As the camp started to calm down Reika turned her attention towards the man who had slain one of his own men. "You're in charge here right?" she asked softly just in case the man still had a bit of bloodlust in him. The man eyed her up and down and licked his lips, "Why hello there pretty, I'm second in command of this riffraff, so if you want some privacy let me know."he said with a wink and a sick grin. Reika sighed, she could feel all her senses yelling at her to slit the mans throat now but she wasn't stupid enough to try something like that at the moment, not for the lowly likes of a bandit deputy anyway. "Maybe later sir, but I need to talk to the leader right now, so maybe later?" she said sweetly, desperately fighting the urge to vomit. "What do you want girl?" a man asked her from nearby, the silence that followed told her this time she had the right man. "Sir, I came here in exchange for 2 silver pieces and a set of daggers, and I'm willing to work accordingly, however our chances of an ambush are slim now." she stated matter of factly. "Ya think girl?" a bandit shouted out loudly. Reika looked over and forced a smile "If they were unsure after the screaming, they're bound to be sure if you keep shouting so loud." The bandit put his hands over his mouth but was clearly unhappy with her presence. "But I don't think it matters, looking around I have to agree that your choice in location is immaculate, but...." she trailed off. "What is it girl? We don't have all day!" another bandit shouted loudly. Reika suddenly felt as if the bowman in the tree's had saved her life, had they tried an ambush with this lot, they'd have no chance of a successful surprise attack. "Well sir, your... ambush is set here in an assumption that they'll come this way, but according to my observations the group didn't really seem to have a destination in mind when they left town. They definitely weren't in a hurry either way." A few bandits had their mouths hanging open in disbelief. "So ummm, being the manly men you are, how about taking the battle to them? It's us women and fat bureaucrats that sit around and wait, if you people truly are the men amongst men how about going in there and taking what you want like real men?" Reika paused unsure, the group the had enslaved her city had mostly been ruffians like these, and the ones back in Araphane took particular pride in being "manly". A cheer of approval went up and again Reika was relieved she hadn't participated in an ambush with them. Sensing she had most of the bandits on her side now she looked at the man in charge. "We have the advantage in numbers, we could flank them from all sides but these are the men who repelled your men earlier, I recommend splitting ourselves into three, "Group A will wait here in ambush" she said drawing a circle for the enemy camp and ambush point with a stick. "We'll need a few manly men to lure them in" she said looking up at winking at the man who had claimed to be the deputy of the group. (Mentally smiling at the fact Group A had the lowest chances of survival). Group B will circle around, their objective will be to take the enemy camp from behind while they're distracted with Group A. Group B should act as soon as Group A has engaged the enemy in combat, don't give them time to regroup" she said, looking the bandit leader in the eye. "Finally Group C should consist of only a few men, but they're to carry as many lit torches as possible in each hand and slowly head towards town before the battle begins, if you don't have any start gathering sticks now and bundle them together." This can work a few ways,if it doesn't strike fear into the hearts of those dogs it can either give them a sense of urgency to defend the town, or give them a false sense of security." Reika sighed not at all surprised at the confused faces. "If they think our main force is headed to town, they're more likely to take the bait, and are less likely to suspect a third group, put simply they're fake decoys." Tired and nervous she looked up at the bandit leader, she'd either get assigned to Group A or C, She'd be assigned to A if the man was smart enough to suspect her to the point of killing her. If he wasn't sure he'd assign her with Group C where she didn't have a chance of defecting to the enemy side. Either way she wouldn't be assigned to B because secrecy was the key, and if Reika did defect their plan would be for naught. OOC2: I've turned the plot... again XD Since lying in ambush didn't really work, plus, it'd be better to split the bandit up at present since not everyone has joined up with Damian yet, and it'd be awkward to have Helios, Irina, Rayton, Mark, and Arcturus showing up off the outskirts of town late at night as reinforcements. I'll leave it up to Snowy's post to decide whether if my suggestion gets accepted, if it does then I'll leave it to him to decide if I go A or C. Note: It might be an idea to send someone down to Group C to scout when the torches are seen, that way the group that engages Group C can join up with the main group on invitation by the "scout". And we can bloody leave this outback town
  18. Name: Dalton & Jones Class: Bandit & Shaman Age: 42Male & 32Male Appearance: Crimson Weapon: No Personality: Dalton is a simpleton who doesn't really think at all. While naturally gentle at heart he took up banditry since he thought it'd be an easy way to make a living. And hasn't really considered the consequences or the effect his actions may have on people. He usually is seen apologising to the dead after the end of a raid/battle, but usually follows it up with an accidental kick or step on the deceased. Jones is sneaky, but not very bright, and usually tries to solve everything with poison or drugs. He has no morals whatsoever is always trying to think of a way to end up not doing any work with the maximum gains possible. He is also a pervert and joined up with bandits for the spoils of banditry. Though moreso the women then the gold. Dalton (Iron Axe)(Ice) HP: 6 Str: 4 Skl:3 Spd: 3 Lck: 0 Def: 4 Res: 0 Simplified Stats: HP:18 ATK:4 HIT:3 EVD: 4 DEF/RES: 4/0 15 gold Vulnerary x3 Jones (Fire)(Thunder) HP: 5 Mag: 3 Skl: 4 Spd: 3 Lck: 1 Def: 2 Res: 2 Simplified Stats: HP:15 ATK:3 HIT:4 EVD:5 DEF/RES: 2/2 15gold Vulnerary x3 Background: Dalton was born in a remote village which was completely destroyed in the events of the Azure Demon. He isn't really sure if it was soldiers or demons that attacked his village, but he doesn't really remember the village he was born in anyway. When he was young a witch had arrived at his village and when Dalton had knocked the woman over by accident had been cursed to be a stupid fool. Years later, news of the witches death spread and the curse was lifted, but it didn't change the fact that he'd learned nothing for two decades and anything valuable he'd learned as a kid was completely forgotten. A few months later the village was wiped out. Dalton wondered around aimlessly for awhile, but would eventually be attacked by bandits, fortunately what Dalton lacked in brains he made up with brawn and killed his attackers, impressed the leader of the bandits recruited him into their gang. Jones is originally a Halton noble, but was banished for trying to sneak into the Queen/Empress's bedroom with.... well perverted intentions. Under normal circumstances he may have been executed, but the empire was more concerned with the impedeing army of demons at the time. Leaving Halton he wandered around as a mercenary occassionally abducting village girls who are never heard from again. He doesn't care about men, to the extent where they are pretty much nonexistant to him, and has been beaten up for flirting with a woman while her husband was standing right next to her. He believes that "the world is rotten" and that he himself is the key to a new age. An age where he believes he will be sitting on the throne. He has convinced Dalton that he is the future king and despite Daltons fear of black magic (shaman magic) has Dalton following his every whim. Jones is also a master of herbs and poisons.
  19. I'd support shifting posting activity time XD Ether and Cynthia are usually on and off from 12am to 7am in my timezone (something like that at least anyway). So most of my posts are the result of all nighters, or me being up until 3 in the morning. Fortunately I've gotten used to tuning my time for people in these sort of things. But yeah it was pretty much something people needed to check daily until a few days ago. Now it's slowed down a bit :P And hooray for random bow guy! XD
  20. Best way to do that is to have someone take control of your character I suppose. Rolling but no Rp'ing = degeneration of the whole thing, so ask Ether, Cynthia or Snowy I guess. I could do it but..... well you know why that should be an absolute last resort I think. While I don't know how fast this RP will progress (it seems to be slowing down now) it's a bit hard to have Michael follow around silently without any interaction for a week, so even if you're giving up on getting the exp, I still recommend you give control of the character to someone else. (Just my opinion, I mean most of us have somewhat of an idea of what type of character Michael is)Obviously Michael involvement would be minimal due to the babysitter not being able to build on character, but it's better then having a ghost trail around XD
  21. Furry Birthday, you overgrown rat.... Happy birthday I suppose

  22. I think it's time for a fast forward, Snowy. Whether it be a fast forward to night/sleep time, or next morning is up to you, but the "party's" exhausted it's options on things to do without me stirring shit without understanding more about the plot. In the mean time it might be a good idea for Rp'ers to get to know each others characters better. Also might be a good idea to try recruit a few more people into the RP if you know anyone who might possibly join. I'm not say kill of Helios, or that Kai's quit, but in the events of a Crimson Wielder dropping off the RP what happens? You've mentioned that CW can't be transferred to another person, (usage wise). So does that mean the weapons are going to be useless (in terms of fighting) but someone like Damian, Aiya or possibly Irina lug them around?
  23. Hmm Gundam, but the comparison is unfair, you're pitting an entire sub genre against one gaming series. Though granted, I'd still say most Gundam series would be able to wipe out Starfox and his lackeys. You don't need gundams to wipe out the Lylat system, just a horny group of furries
  24. Okay now I'm confused, We can randomly acquire items through plot? I mean, it being OoC it doesn't seem like they're just plot tools, and I wasn't aware that things could be literally taken/gained via plot. (Reika's a thief, if I steal from the villagers can I add it to my character?) Either way I'm confused. (Snowy approved?) And does that mean I need to subtract my weapon/gold/items from my profile now that Morgan's stripped me? Hmmm kinky Reika sighed loudly as she slumped against the wall of a small hut. Judging from the chatter she had managed to listen in on both the bandits and that wicked witch were no longer in town. "Good riddance" she thought looking at the sun slowly heading towards the horizon. It had been an awful day, and with all those soldiers gone tomorrow had to be a better day. She paused in thought, looking at the sky. She'd lost all her possessions today, not even god knew how she'd survive tomorrow, or the night without shelter, food or money. After her pain subsided her appetite arose, "Damn it" she muttered irritated. She could steal food but seeing as how everyone was on edge she didn't want to risk the same fate as the Halton soldiers. An image of Aiya and Morgan flashed through her mind. "Damn them" she cursed quietly, remembering the humiliation of being bound before them her face reddened in anger. "I'll get them" she thought to herself, "as soon as I'm better I'll make them pay." With that she slowly dozed off into sleep.
  25. Yeah, that was sort of my objective (an extremely minor one) in having the people ask the group to leave Darien, though judging from Snowy's posts there's a bandit army heading towards Darien, after that we've seriously drained Darien. I'm kind of wondering how the cast will join the Cynthia initiated "Party" Why do we have to flock around the soldiers XD jk Irina, shouldn't be a problem, just needs to approach them and say she'd like to join them for whatever purposes. Helios, well Kai's missing, or rather not posting anymore, (he's been online though?) so not sure about him, but same as above. Kelas, needs to find a way of forgiving Morgan, or a reason to join the "party" a bit hard since she isn't a Crimson Wielder, nor has she shown any interest in them Reika, T_T I don't know how I'll get out of this one, I've publicaly insulted Damian (though I think he said he can make it so Damain never saw Reika) beaten up Morgan, and attacked Aiya XD Guess I'll have to use Michael or Irina/Kelas as a reason to join. Since I've made it painfully clear I'm not going to listen to the Halton group or Morgan XD If Snowy reveals the new location, I suppose I could go there by myself and have a 2nd encounter with the group. (Reika=Enemy RP'er that appears consistently throughout the RP XD) Since I have motive to stalk Morgan XD I'll start looking for an opportunity as plot progresses as at present I doubt there are any available methods
