  1. I know it's probably fun, but it's also mindless. Same thing goes for Reinhardt, really; I still use him for easy Arena wins though. I'm not above abusing broken tomes, but man it's just not cool.
  2. You don't really need the Ridersbane that much for Chapter 4 imo, especially if you head to Nuibaba first. You get the Duma Lance from Fear Shrine, which, when carried by Mathilda, basically turns her into a goddess especially when forged. Chapter 3 is when the Ridersbane hard carries. Also you should have like one or two Tier 3 units by now, namely Mathilda and Grey.
  3. The maps definitely don't play the same, but they all have the same terrible annoyance of low movement. On Deen's map, there's literally no point to the desert. Deen and a few Mercs will rush straight down the grass, but the four Mercs on the right will slowly inch their way towards you on the sand while you do the same. Literally "why". The most dangerous part of the map still reaches you in two turns, while everyone else does nothing interesting. The small chokepoint of grass also makes it so that you can only really use 2~3 units to deal with Deen, and any map that encourages/forces lowmanning is generally not well-designed. With how the fighting doesn't start until you actually enter Grieth's Fortress, what purpose does the desert serve other than slowing you down for 2~3 turns? The Witches generally warp on the first two turns, when you're still on the grass, so the sand changes nothing. You can't really enter the range of the the Sniper and mage on the left and right flanks without getting extremely close to the fortress, so the sand just slows the encounter down once again. What usually happens is that Leon, Palla and Catria just clear off the Snipers and mages before the rest of your army even has a chance to fight. What I just said also basically sums up a large portion of Celica's Chapter 3 and 4 maps, with emphasis on Palla and Catria.
  4. I stopped reading here lol. You are clearly a masochist beyond the level of the average FE player, because I can't see how a chapter of boats, a chapter of deserts, and then a chapter of swamps can be anything but tedious and bad map design.
  5. He got banned The West is getting the Cipher DLC too, so these four characters technically won't be Japan only anymore.
  6. More like Kaga is messed up. You can count the number of happy people in his games on your fingers. Also u monstur It's okay, we've already established that you're heartless about a week ago. Nice joke You don't actually need to bait mages if you don't want to, since you can just get the AI to walk in a straight line directly towards you.
  7. You know what Palla doesn't like? Yucky food. @Troykv Eh, -Blade mages, especially Nino, are running rampant in the current meta. Res is a pretty good stat.
  8. >Doesn't care about Palla I don't think we can be friends. Like, ever.
  9. Because having a good Abel gives Palla an automatic Hone Fliers buff every turn I'd want a Titania too...
  10. I'm kinda on the fence, because I feel like Ward Cavalry is a buff that Xander would like to receive, not give... Maybe I'll give him Hone Cav instead from Gunther? So the setup would be: Xander - Hone Cav Reinhardt - Goad Cav Cecilia - Ward Cav Abel - Fortify Cav Abel is semi-filler, but since he's +Atk -HP I'm considering him.
  11. Hmmm, my only Eliwood is +Def -HP... Should I just hand off his Ward Cavalry to Xander?
  12. The meaning of my original comment is that if you use Eliwood with Fred and Rein in your main team, you'd have to drop Ike.
  13. I thought you were talking about your Arena team or something.
  14. So for my Defense team, Celica/Kagerou/Azura/Reinhardt, or Celica/Kagerou/Lucina/Azura? I want Celica as my leader, but the former has been giving me fewer Defense wins.
  15. Healer Shade l m f a o Lando is known for dual-wielding swords, though. I'd like it if they went with that instead of being a Cav for some reason. Though, I guess Sword Cav works too, since he's been Paladin a few times.
  16. Took me a little while, but I did a no inheritance run with 5* Camilla, 4* F!Robin, 4* Sully and 4* Olivia. I had to resort to using a Speed Seal on F!Robin, though. 5* Camilla (+Res -Def) 4* F!Robin with Speed Seal 4* Sully (+Spd -HP) 4* Olivia (neutral) Turn 1 is just moving forward, and doesn't really matter. Just make sure that Camilla gets Hone Atk if she's not +Atk. Turn 2 Turn 3 Turn 4 Turn 5 I think I can do this with no Dancer as well, but it requires a different set of units.
  17. So, the four Cipher original characters, Emma, Shade, Lando and Yuzu will be appearing in Echoes later on via DLC, which means they'll be getting voice actors/actresses. Do you think they'll throw in a Cipher banner in Heroes? I'd definitely be interested.
  18. Hm, with two Cavalry units, especially Reinhardt, I think a rushdown strategy would be good. Bait the enemies to come closer, then have Freddy + Reinhardt sweep them up with their 3 Mov. As long as you don't overextend out of Azura's range, you should be able to quickly mow down three people like that?
