Zelda U/NX What do you want to see in Zelda U/NX?
Water Mage replied to Alex95's topic in General Gaming
It really doesn't seem like female. Again, remember that Link is very feminine, and this particular Link has a ponytail, so it's no suprise that he has longer hair. -

It was long time ago, in an interview with Miyamoto. Don't remembet which one. But I'm sure I've read about it. -

Completely agree with you on that one.Link really need more male friends that aren't old men. And interesting fact about Ocarina of Time: Do you know why most of the Sages were female? Why many female characters fell in love with Link? Originally, Ocarina of Time was going to have dating sim elements, and there was going to be a "choose your girlfriend" thing. That's probably why so many female were in love with Link. Another thing that's interesting was that Ocarina of Time's sequesl, Majora's Mask, had many important male characters, but few important female characters. I wonder if it was intentional. -

Speaking of Ezlo, I wouldn´t mind if Link had more male companions. They are usually girls, and if they are male, they are old men, like the King of Red Lions or Ezlo. It would be cool to have a guy as Link's partner this time. -

Why can't Corrin/Kaumi always turn into a dragon?
Water Mage replied to Liliesgrace's topic in Fire Emblem Fates
Like it was before, it's more of gameplay thing. The same question could be applied to Kaden and Keaton. Why can't they transform regardless of the class they are in? The anwser: It's how the gameplay is. -
Attack on gay nightclub in Orlando leaves 50 dead.
Water Mage replied to solrocknroll's topic in Serious Discussion
So a little more about the guy: According to his ex-wife, the man wasn't very religious, but after the divorce, he started to become more religious. And about the guy's father: Apparently he used to host a TV show, is a political figure and is currently running to be Afghanistan's president. -

That's right, I totally forgot that this was Ramadan's month. If he really was religious, he shouldn't be in a healthy condition to commit mass murder. -

It's quite possible that the Islamic State is just taking credit for it.It's too small small scale for their usual acts. Not to say that 50 people dying is a small thing, it's not. But if they were really targeting the USA, I would imagine that they would attack a much more famous or crowded place. It's also worth noticing that the shooter may have had mental issues. His ex-wife says that he used to beat her. And his father said that he wasn't a very religious person, but he was quite homophobic. -

A new leak appeared: It's nothing much, just an image, but it seems to show Link rock climbing, and it also seems to confirm that Death Mountain will appear in this game. I'll copy/paste this post on the other Zelda U thread. -

What the hell is Marvel thinking? Spoiler for the comics
Water Mage replied to Water Mage's topic in Entertainment
Don't worry about it.And like you, I'm not jewish, so it's hard to imagine how awkward this must be for Jewish people. Speaking of Jewish people and Nick Spencer, take a look at this guys: While Nick isn't obligated to know the religion of everyone, as this picture shows, Clark did state many times that due to his Jewish origins, the whole "Hail Hydra" jokes makes him very uncomfortable, so Nick should have known better. Nick Spencer is really digging himself a hole by trying to be edgy. And he may drag his career with it. -
Actually Jynx is most likely based on Yama-uba also called Yamanba, a yokai which is described as always wearing a tattered red kimono, having whitish-blonde hair, control over snow, dark-colored skin, and large lips, traits which are evident in Jynx. "Yamanba" is also a slang for the extreme end of ganguro fashion, which involves bleached hair, artificial tanning, and heavy applying of brightly-colored lipstick. So really, the controversy was because someone didn't bother to do research, and called Jynx offensive without even thinking twice.

It becomes even more contradictory when you realize that there is no "tradition". Back in Gen 1 we had Pokemon that looked like normal animals, like Squirtle, Persian and Ratatta and at the same time there where more unique ones like Magnemite, Grimer and Voltorb. I wonder what would be the fan's reaction if Voltorb and Electrode weren't Gen 1 Pokemon. Considering how they are pretty much balls with eyes, and when they evolve, it simply reverses it's colors, a lot of fans would say that Voltorb and Electrode doesn't look like Pokemon. And Grimer is pretty much a pile of slime with eyes and a mouth, so the complaints about Trubbish design being bad because it's just a trash bag with eyes, are pretty much pointless.

Is there really a standard Pokemon design? I always thought that one of the charming things about Pokemon was that they could look like anything? What about Zygarde 100%'s design makes it unfit for the Pokemon Universe? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm genuinely curious. What exactly is that makes a Pokemon look like a Pokemon? I never understood when people say "That Pokemon doesn't look like a Pokemon."

The Fates first gen are terrible parents
Water Mage replied to Alastor15243's topic in Fire Emblem Fates
Actually, women can get pregnant quite early. It's definitively possible for Elise to get pregnant, though it's not very safe for her health. -
That's...a bit naive,Dolphins have been proven by marine scientists that dolphins kill other creatures for fun. They don't eat them, and they aren't protecting territory, the actively seek animals to kill. They are also sexual predators, who rapes the females. The males often group together to gang rape a single female. And if the female isn't willing, they force her by forcing her out of the water until she stops fighting back. And the way the penis of dolphins, sex is incredibly painful for females. It's kinda like a hook. Dolphins are so sexually active, that it's very common for a male dolphin to kill it's own children in order to have sex with the mother, since the mother dolphin it's only paying attention to the children. Dolphins also don't care about species, the have been cases of dolphins trying to rape human females. This all has been proven. So yeah...those guys are bastards. There are even more facts, but it's better for me to stop here:

Like Glaceon Mage said, Slowpoke and Slowbro are said to be incredibly stupid and yet are Psychic types. But, it's ironic, but Slowpoke can evolve into Slowking which is one of the smartest Pokemon species. Iwanko is a Rock type, so it's unlikely to be the Zigzagoon of Gen 7. Changing the subject, I'm hoping for a dolphin Pokemon. And I'm hoping it's a Dark type to reflect on real life dolphins, who are among the most cruel animals to ever exist.

Some people are just naturally tall. He's definitively Hoshido's largest playable character. I would say Ryoma is about 1,85 or 1,90 in height. Remember that his armor makes him appear larger.
