  10. Well, that's okay... I got a 72 on my english mid year exam which was rigged because everyone failed it. I'm screwed for AP English next year lol
  11. I see your point in unquestionable proof, and agree with it. What I was trying to say was more around the lines of that we can't say that even scientifically proven laws, and the systematics of the universe won't eventually change over huge quantities of time. I'm being theoretical here, I'm not trying to say that we can't reasonably prove something such as germs causing diseases or evolution. It's 12:08 on Saturday, any earthquakes yet? xD
  12. We all died back in 2000, we just haven't realized it yet. I want my finals to all be 100's. want is the key word there
  13. My Imput: Humans are not superior to other animals in the grand scheme of things. The problem with religions is that they suggest that humans are superior to other life forms ("God created humans in his own image"). Also, the fact that a religious person believes that one can go to heaven or hell for eternity for whether they "believed" or not is immoral in my opinion, because that means that a good person, who doesn't believe in a particular religion, is among those who are sent to hell. My point? We don't get to know anything about how we are going to die until it happens. These predictions are pointless, and people who make them are either stubbornly devout to their religion, or are just trying to get attention to themselves. Why is it that people fall for the same crap every time someone proposes an end of the world. We've been falling for this since 1000 AD (One of the first known end of the world predictions). @FE Addict: He's probably got his statistics reversed, as I doubt he believes that man is older than God. @Kintenbo: You do realize that much of what science does disapproves of religious ideas. How do we know that Charles Darwin wasn't delusional? We don't know for sure, but we do know that Evolution is as close to factual as anything else we know in science. You would have to argue that every single person that worked on proving the theory of evolution was delusional, and that every piece of evidence that they have found is false, that being extremely hard to do. About absolute truths... How does one know that a truth can be absolute? We could only know if we knew almost everything that there is to know, and live long enough to see if what we believe to be truth is definite.
  14. [spoiler=Tales of Phantasia]When everyone in Toltus is killed while Chester and Cress are out hunting, and they return to find their dead families. [spoiler=Metroid:Other M]Adam Malkovich sacrifices himself in order to destroy sector zero. He was almost as cool as MBD...
  15. Mitochondria cells? That's a laugh, as there is no such thing. Mitochondria are organelles, not cells.
  16. Voted. Never trust 170 people with a "Do not select this" option...
  17. This appears to be an opportune moment for me to post unrelated material.
  18. More like blow ups Me? I'm too paranoid/geeky/insane/other potentially undesirable characteristics to speak in a such situation. I will be celebrating singles awareness day for a long time. Forever Alone.
