i fail to see how dragons and magic would affect the characters' sexual preferences as far as i know, the "fantasy" genre refers to, as you said, dragons, magic, pegasi and so on, it does not imply or require that every character is bisex only so that players can marry whoever they want i agree that homosexual romances should be equal in number (i'm not signin the petition though, that's honestly just a waste of time, no offense), but i don't agree that every character should be bi, that would be downright stupid unless the main character is explained to be a magnet that specifically attracts bi people, that is

i hope the next non-remake fe title is a linear experience, just like pretty much every fe title except for fates and 3H: they tried to do something new, one experiment was a complete failure while the other is pretty good, but i'd like them to come back to linear stories, without branches, plot-relevant choices and so on also please enough with avatars: i absolutely prefer to follow the adventures of a charismatic hero/ine who at least knows the BASICS of the world s/he lives in, i don't need other characters to tell why i should care about what happened/is happening, making me read tons of meaningless words (if not accompanied with actual visible/playable representation), usually more than once for the same topic (one problem i have with three houses mainly) well, this pretty much sums it up for me

i absolutely hate her, but that's probably because she's meant to be this way, so in a sense she's well written, and i really think she is btw as far as i've seen, both edelgard and rhea are characters who people either downright hate or love, no one is immune to this

i think edelgard is the character i hate the most in the whole fire emblem series this is probably because that was her character's purpose, so this could mean she's well written (and i don't doubt she is)

nice banner, happy for mercedes, hubert and hilda; i like petra too, but not as much as the other 3 mercedes' boring-to-say-the-least skillset could mean she'll get demoted, but i highly doubt it oh well, this is non-day1 games' treatment, to see 95% of their units locked at 5* forever

my advice is: don't force others to enjoy what you enjoy if they don't like fire emblem (even though that's just a superficial opinion), they just don't like it, it may not be for them sure, they could change their mind by actually playing a fe title, if they're willing to give the series a try, but that's up to them to decide (i made my friends change their mind after they played fates by advicing them to play fe7 and 9, and fe10 later on: they fell in love with these 3 games, and now they want to play other fe titles too)

don't ask me why IntSys' guys do what they do, i don't work for them talking about 3H, personal preferences aside, they probably agreed with GS company to make an edelgard figma months ago, and since she's undoubtedly the most pushed character of the game, it honestly only makes sense for them to push her even more wih a dedicated figma, despite how much people can dislike this (me being one of them) i don't know what sells more between vagina or penis, probably no one knows for sure, and maybe neither IntSyd does this is... literally just what they ususally do, there's no point in complaining about this (here in particular) either every single person on this planet stops buying figmas representing female characters, or nothing will change

well, i can only guess that IntSys somehow knows that female characters sell more than male characters (to put it in a non vulgar way) surely a few male characters will get chibi figures or something like that, but definitely not figmas nor pricey static figures i mean, look at heroes: it's clear that IntSys thinks cute girls/waifus sell more than handsome boys/husbandos unfair? super shitty? i can't really say (i can't say i agree with IntSys either tbh), but this is just how things are, and i think we can do pretty much nothing to change this

if i were to remove something from the fire emblem series as a whole, that would probably be kouhei maeda if i were to CHANGE something about fire emblem instead, that would be the games' titles' font: i don't really like the font they started using since awakening, i find it so boring and "life-less" the older fe games' titles' font were completely unique for every game, and you could remember them all just by looking at the "Fire Emblem" part of the title, without subtitles imho this homogenization was quite forced and there was no actual/functional reason to do it: one could say that this should contribute to make the fe series more solid and united, but i think the title itself already worked like that, giving every title's font it's unique design wouldn't have hurt anyone nor anything, but it would've made every fe game stand out from the others, giving customers the message "hey man, i am a fire emblem game, but i am not like the ones you knew, i have my own identity, and i show it already from my title's font" if it's a mechanic/in-game feature that i should change, that would be the biorhythm mechanic from PoR and RD (if present in future games) i would change it so that units increase their hit, avoid, crit and skill activation chances every time they land a hit, avoid hits, crit someone or activate a skill respectively, but if you fail doing so, these bonuses decrease (with due balancing and limitations) this could also stimulate players to use boosting items from the get-go, foods (if present), or even items such as thracia's scrolls, in order to have higher chances of taking advantage of biorhythm as soon as possible don't know if it sounded too broken (probably it did), but this is just an idea i came up with right now, of course IntSys would think much more about it than i did
