Look at the cheekbones on OPV right. They're really defined. That "jutting out" is just his other cheekbone. Nayr, I really like this splice. I love the strong jawline. Makes me think his shoulders could be a little wider to fit a more "masculine" frame but overall nice job. :D

Yeah, Astohl is much better for stealing in my opinion. Doesn't stop him from getting obliterated by the masses of siege tomes Everyone says Amelia's awful, which she is, but Ewan's equally bad. He joins later than her usually (unless you do the C13 recruitment and even then it's one chapter), and is equally useless.

I usually never bring him because that's a deployment slot that can be used by a unit I'm actually training, but it does make the chapter go quicker with two thieves running around getting every chest.

Wendy has awful bases and growths, gets killed by almost everything in her join chapter, and has the worst movement type right as FE6 begins getting bigger and bigger maps. so yeah. She's that bad.

I don't consider Seth and FE9!Titania Jeigans because their stats are consistently decent throughout a majority of the game. Seth is actually useable in endgame and Titania at least has an amazing support list. FE7!Marcus is good for a while until Sain promotes, and then he's just useless. FE6!Marcus isn't really worth it because Alance is just that good, also because Zealot joins in Chapter 7. Marcus is nice to have until then, though. FE10!Sothe is really only worth it because he's required, but he does make excellent use of Beast Killers.

In my hack the third "lord" (who doesn't join until much, much later) is of the Empress class, but not the FE10 variant. She instead is a mono-bow user with incredibly good stats and a very good personal weapon. So I've kind of created that.

FE4 Gen 1: Ardan FE4 Gen 2: Hannibal -Movement is just too important in this game and these two will never, ever catch up. Pursuit Ring is awesome though. FE6: Wendy -She chips a friggin' wall. YAY. FE7: Wallace -His rejoin situation is pathetic. Also because Sain wants the LHM Knight Crest. Karla at least brings a Wo Dao for Lyn/Guy. FE8: Amelia/Ewan -Even though Ewan has 1~2 range he joins three chapters after Amelia which means he's not even worth training. You'd be lucky to get him to 10/10 by endgame. Knoll at least can instapromote. FE9: Ena/Nasir -lol dragon laguz FE10: Lyre -Meg can at least do stuff in the Dawn Brigade, and Fiona can use Savior for something. FE12: Everyone after Elleran, basically. -Astram is probably the only decent unit you get in that time frame, if only for Mercurius. Tiki and Nagi are good too.

Sigurd, Seliph, Cuan, Altenna, Ares, and Levin!Arthur would like to have a word with you In all fairness, though, it does suck when weaker units can't use better weapons unless you gave them good parents/promoted them. Let's face it, people like Patty are not getting promoted most of the time. Even if she's Holyn's kid or someone like that. That's my one major issue with weapon ranks. Weak units get weak weapons.

Ironically HolynxSylvia is the pairing I'm doing in my playthrough... But I can't be assed to abuse Sylvia to Level 30 so... maybe after I kill Reptor in C5...

Most armor trims use skin color anyway. You can probably consolidate by using the skin color to shade the armor trim instead of the red. That way you can have a yellow-ish color like on some armor trims to make it look golden. Just a note I noticed, the color you have in the eyes and the lips is darker than the outline. If you're going to keep the red in the trim I'd recommend playing with the saturation a bit, only because it is kind of heavily saturated. A less saturated red would blend in with the black better and also give it a more blood-red look, which in my opinion would be a great final boss color.

I don't see dancers needing a promotion mostly because they are unique utility units and are only used as such. They're not made for combat (even in early FE's when they had weapons it was really only to counterattack). If we're going to bring back weapon-using refresher units, they should be more in the style of FE10 staff users where they can counterattack but not initiate attack. In all honesty even a combat-efficient dancer would still be a refresher unit anyway. Imagine Sylvia leading a charge? Yeah no.

I'm quite impressed. A great splice. The armor and trim shading's a bit off to me. There's a little inconsistency as to the light source, but a little mucking around with it (and referencing similar armor and trim styles) can fix that. The two-toned hair is very awesome, and I like the crown.

Best: FE5 Worst: FE10 Also, NM, you should consider re-wording the last category. Most/Least Silliest is grammatically incorrect. Most/Least Funny/Comical/Silly is more along the lines of what you were going for. Or, alternatively, Silliest/Most Serious or something along those lines.

I make bad mugs, bad battle sprites, and weapon icons. I like the FE7 pallette the best although some of the colors aren't good so I usually alter them to my liking and/or make my own. goddamn blues I do like FE8 style colors as well although I've been FE7-ing it up lately.

There's a line on the right side of the mug (his right) that's just the lightest hair shade, and it's really out of place.

For one, I spy a few mixed colors. Use only FE7 or FE8 styled colors. Your eye positions are off on a lot of these. They're usually too close or too low on the head. For reference, the top of the ear should line up with the top of the eyebrow, and the bottom of the ear should line up with the nose. Work on cleaning up your lines and where you splice parts first.

Head's kind of small, for one. Even at the angle. Also the head and body angles don't match. As for the clothing, it's super tight on him. Denim is usually loose. It looks more like spandex with a denim look to it. The pocket's also too high--we should see only the top at best. Widen it by two or three pixels, too. For shading it, just reference denim jackets and try to replicate the texture.

I feel like one can split Micaiah into three parts: Part 1 Micaiah, Part 3 Micaiah, and Part 4 Micaiah. Her Sue traits show up the most in 1 and 4, especially 4 when she gets basically god status for no reason (also the billion plot twists at the end that all go in her favor). Part 1 she's worshipped by everyone in Daein and no one questions it. Sure, she's leading the army, but it's only because she has healing powers and can see into the future. If it weren't for those two powers she'd honestly have nothing going for her. In fact, Pelleas would end up taking all of the credit if it weren't for Micaiah's god powers. In Part 3 Micaiah actually is given some substance. In Daein she's still worshipped by most everyone, but people like Jill and even Sothe begin to question her decisions and leadership--so much that Jill and Zihark can defect to the Greil Mercenaries. She's a villain to everyone else. Tanith straight up says that Daein's delusional for following her, and it seems that most of the Greil Mercenaries are wondering what makes her so special. Then, of course, there's the oil and fire incident, which everyone disagrees with. Hell, even the Daeins disagree with it. Basically Micaiah's a Sue for Parts 1 and 4 and has substance in 3.

Personally, I think the hair flow is fine. The hair parts down the middle, and Nayr and Ecut have exemplified this just fine. The bangs in front of the part are the only problem areas I can see, and this is fixable by simply adjusting them to fit the hair part.

It doesn't mean that he can't take the critiques from it and apply them to when he redoes it.

I like the bangs on this one, but the far side of the hair (his right side) seems to be bulging out a little too much--a pixel or two in should fix that, perhaps. Also, thank goodness you've given Alan and Lance new colors (I know this is partially Kitty, partially you). The old ones were hideous.

While I do agree that FE12!MU is unimportant to the plot, he/she, like FE13!Avatar, is in every fucking scene, even when talking about useless things or being praised by Marth/Jagen/everyone else.
