Well, no. It's because FE11 Gaiden requirements wants dead people, so I don't feel as bad when they die. FE12 doesn't.

I don't use Wendell in the long run, but he is really useful for at least a couple chapters as a DK tank on H5. High SPD+High DEF (comparatively) after reclass=win.

I kinda wanted Merric and Ellerean due to my attractive male bias, but Hammerne is too good to pass up.

So I just use Merric since he can Excalibur at base.

Yeah. The 11 deployment slot is annoying.

Merric is a must have for me, and I don't want Yumina taking up Mallesia's slot because Hammerne is still PRF.

Both. I have slight issues with the shading in FE11's artwork, but it's alright. FE12 has better coloration, IMO.

It involves KOing Shanan, the Valkyrie staff, and a glitch.

Usually I leave Shanan with Balmung since it's his sword and Lakche owns anyone not named Endgame Yurius in a hit or two anyway, but I decided I'd do a favoritism run with her instead and gave her Balmung.

It resulted in a lot of dead people on the enemy's side.

According to Kaga, it's just something that happens historically. He wanted to make it similar to how history happened, so he put in the incest bits for that. From the looks of FE4's character designs, it seems that it takes place a lot earlier than the other games (confirmed for Akaneia).
