You don't have to go onmyoji you could go oni chieftain, which I found to be a superior option. skill was kinda low but his magic was good and his defence, which having high of is a valuable asset in birthright, was fantastic.

This was a good read. I very much enjoyed reading how Xander's character revolves around his 3 priorities and seeing the evidence to support this. My main problem with Story Xander is that he is unable to see how his decisions (excluding following a madman's orders) hurts the one thing he cares most about, making him come across as an idiot and a coward. Granted he does have his moments in chapters 7,9 16, 20 and 25 where he displays his most likeable trait (being his love for his family), being a supportive brother to Corrin, bravery and actually going against his father on two occasions. But Xander does not come through when it counts and it seriously hurts his character, chapter 18 being his worst showing. Xander ultimately is a casualty of fates poor writing, but hey at least he's solid in his supports which for me is the main factor on deciding whether a character is good or not.

I liked chapter 8 of conquest because of the interaction between the characters, I also can somewhat believe the sparing of the villagers since its small skirmish. I guess I enjoyed chapter 14 of birthright. Chapter 26 was well done, containing the best death scene in the game. The only good thing about revelation so far(on chapter 25) was the ryoma teasing at the end of chapter 13. Chapter 13 also contains one of my most disliked lines in the game, corrin says something along the lines of 'neither hoshido or nohr are to blame. It was the invisible enemies!' Really compelling fucking argument corrin good luck trying to gain trust when you sound like a insane idiot. The brought back to life scenes in conquest and birthright irk me as well since they make no sense.

Anything Felicia says, her voice is pleasant to listen to. The godly 'I will erase you!', 'you should've surrendered' and 'failure is no option from Leo. Jakob's 'I'm afraid this will be messy' Hayato's 'your time is at end' Odin...no explanation needed Azura's 'my heart is singing' Silas' 'fall so that others may live' and '...stand down!'. Also his 'say that again' line when talking to prisoners.

Kiria is my favourite. I enjoy her personality, her development, the fact that she's a powerful mage, her voice and tharja was the best mirage in the game imo since she was pretty funny. Ellie was a close second. I originally hated her character but that changed during the cafe part of her first side story. When she mentioned how she was biracial and sticks out because of it I remember saying 'who gives a f*** that you're biracial'. This was said in annoyance to her mentioning it, but then I realised that this irritation that I'm feeling is probably how she feels just being seen as a biracial. Being able to 'connect' with her like that gave me a bigger understanding and appreciation for her character. Not to mention her design is attractive and virion is my second favourite mirage in the game.

Customisiable tactician class: Start with any weapon type in the game ( excluding staves for obvious reasons), upon promotion you gain a second weapon of your choice or choose to use a staff. Dont limit them to a personal weapon which is one weapon type (I'm not going to use the yato with a str flaw and mag asset). Personality choices that lead to different support pools. Not a main character: I personally found robins role in the story to be fine,except during the end, and I wouldn't mind it being emulated in another game. Corrin sucks as a protag and negatively affects the characters in the story.

I had 3 magic users as well and I still found Leo a niche to occupy. That niche being a reliable magic tank. Brynhildr's effect+magic seal+Leo's high res growth made him the vanguard of the deal with mages squad.

Odin is able to reliably nostank the left side initially, but when the water is removed I would advise to have someone support him. Effie should be able to handle the lance fighters and ninjas. Selena paired up with Silas can take on the right hand side archers with no problem, honestly this side is the least threatening. If you are using archer Mozu put her on the right side ballista. I know some people like to take care the defensive route when approaching this chapter,but I prefer being slightly more aggressive. It will help in the long run.

I agree with this. Odin is an excellent nos tank and I've used him to great success in my own conquest hard run, tanked the generals in chapter 26 like a champ. Odin can get RNG screwed though. I got lucky since my Odin capped def, luck and magic(with spirit dust assistance). OP, how many units are you planning on using? I've used 14 from the 1st gen,2 of which are pair up bots, and 2 children and its worked out great.

I like Peri. I understand that her gimmick is completely messed up but she's such a wtf character that it makes me laugh. Seriously, anyone who can cheer 'yay violence' is peaking my interest.

How many units would you recommend using?

Don't have much but if there's stuff that you like feel free to visit. I did get every skill that Felicia could get from her original and heart seal branches. (Skills in sig)

If you have multiple save files,then you have multiple castles,but the castle address doesn't change. Correct? If this is the case which castle do people go to.

Xander/Kaze b support has Kaze saying 'thank nothing of it milord'. I had to slow down and read that a couple times. Couldn't believe they actually made a typo,looks like it's more common than I thought.

I don't think the RNG was that bad during my playthrough. It's weird while playing I anticipated attacks hitting rather than missing. RNG only sucked during Arena where I get hit by by 40s and miss 90s. BennyxEffie is pretty cute.

I just finished my first playthrough yesterday(well today actually finished at 2am) on conquest normal, it was a lot of fun and some chapters were somewhat difficult despite being on the easiest difficulty. I'd say chapter 17,21 and 24 were the most difficult. Chapter 19 had the most bs gimmick. Ramble on units used My biggest tip to anyone playing conquest would be to careful of how you manage your exp. I didn't plan on using all the royals at the beginning, but by chapter 21 I had to because the others were falling behind. Now to start a hard mode run with a +mag/-str Mu. I'll also update my sig later with my castle address. I was able to get a couple skills on Kaze,Felicia,Silas, Xander and Leo that people may like.

I've been playing for around 7 hours. Up to chapter 11 on conquest and it's been tons of fun. I think I spotted a difference in the localisations. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think in the NA version it said Mozu was a nohrian villager when you click her name but in the EU version she's a hoshidan villager.
