  1. If you take away veteran he grows like a normal unit, so you don't need to further restrict his exp.

    But front-back switching is a good technique to even out levels.

    That's what I do normally. I figured it out a while back and have used it as a standard tactic since :D:

  2. I really enjoy using Henry and Lon'qu. Henry's critical hit cut ins are the greatest - "I'm gonna kill you!" and "Have some death!".And his supports with Panne are cute, if you can look around the mildly disturbing factor.

    And honestly now - Lon'qu. Silent swordsman type? Snap! I do like a variety of his supports as well, particularly with Lissa and Cherche. The one with the FeMU is also really funny.

    Henry has some of the best critical hit lines in the game :XD: I laugh when he says those two in particular.

    Also MU has a good one that makes a smile appear,

    "Checkmate!" or "You're finished!" are alright :D:

    Chrom's Criticals are some of the reasons I like him so damn much,

    "Your end has come!", "Now I'm angry!", oh and my personal favourite, "Anything can change!"

    Henry's though *sighs with a smile* I love Henry's crital hit quotes.

    I guess that means I need to update my list because I forgot a few chacracters...

    ~Ricken (who doesn't like Ricken once he gets a bit stronger)

    ~Panne (She's really sweet when you get to know her)

    ~Vaike x Maribelle (those two are really, really at their best in support conversation :D: I had stitches in my side for hours after their S-Support)

    ~Noire (Sure she has a split personality, but she is overall a nice girl)

    ~Henry, because he's clearly funny (despite the nature of his jokes) and has made me laugh a lot. He is especially good (at least in my experience) to make me laugh in most of his support conversations, (and with the MU no less) and if I wasn't so rigid about marrying F!MU to Chrom I would have her marry this guy.

  3. Well, MUs have the veteran skill, so it's expected that they level fast; they get 1.5 x more exp than normal units given they're paired up.

    Depends on just how much you want to grind Lucina, then. She'd likely cap some combo of Str/Skl/Spd first, with Def being lower and Mag likely taking the longest. If you're really insistent on magic Lucina, you can go the full way with Dark Flier, but it'll take a lot more grinding than if you do Physical Lucina.

    But if you're grinding her anyway, go Great Knight first to pick up Luna. She doesn't want to stay in GK, so get Luna out of the way first. Then you can go whichever way you like her to go.

    I suppose the best way to go about slowing the growth of the M!MU then is to take away veteran (at chapter 3) or have him at the back (I did really well to slow F!MU's growth that way with Chrom in front of her and grew support with them as well :D:). Those would be some great options. I think that I will have M!MU behind Lucina for her own benifit (once he starts to give her good bonuses of course) I might even have to sit M!MU out of a few maps to keep the levels level.

  4. Well i mean, postgame, sure, but if OP just wants storymode final class, then the average Chrom-Olivia-Lucina mag growths together are too shit unless you grind hardcore. I had the impression of that from min exp, but I could be misunderstanding.

    :XD: Well I was intending to do a lot of grinding with Lucina and min exp for M!MU because for some stupid reason I always end up leveling my MUs up quickly. I had a look at Olivia!Lucina and let me tell you that it is almost as bad as Maiden!Lucina, however this is the price that I am willing to pay for a no Sumia as Lucina's mother. Because I really hate Cynthia with blue hair *gags*

    Besides I haven't looked into all of the classes so I don't know their pros and cons just yet :D: I wanted to see which was the most common ending class for M!MU and work out for myself where I wanted him. I am ending my F!MU as a sorcerer for purely fun reasons (and just to see her eat Validar's magic with her awesome res). When it comes to M!MU though...all thoughts are out the window because I haven't played with the M!MU that much. That and it will be my last run for a while :D:

    ETA: I'm also benching Olivia and Inigo for this run...completely. I will still get Inigo and will be training Olivia for Lucina, but after that the dancer is benched.

  5. Nah's Paralogue -- I had to replay that map several times to fill out her father+Nah supports for completion of the support log... and it so happens that her paralogue is the longest and most boring of them all.

    Morgan's Paralogue is a close second just because of the number of replays I have to do for the support log but it isn't anywhere as long as Nah's paralogue is.

    I only had to re-set Morgan's paralogue once and that was because he got killed before I could get to him D: now I usually use a rescue staff (and will for F!Morgan) to make very sure that I save him/her. Oh and increase mother and father's stats before picking him up.

    That reminds me, I found Kjelle's paralogue to be a pain if Sully and father are under-leveled...and I don't give Kjelle the right skills...:/

  6. Yeah, Dark Knight is pretty nice, although there is one caveat to keep in mind as opposed to Grandmaster: you will give your pair-up partner (presumably your spouse) different pair-up bonuses than before.

    Grandmaster has a default bonus of +2 STR, +2 MAG, +2 SKL, +2 SPD. At A/S-rank, this becomes +4 STR, +MAG, +4 SKL, +4 SPD, and if you have 30 in your stats you can get to +7 STR, +7 Mag, +7 SKL, +7 SPD, +3 Lck, +3 Def, +3 Res.

    Dark Knight has a default bonus of +2 MAG, +3 DEF, +1 RES, +1 Move. At A/S-rank, this becomes +4 MAG, +5 DEF, +3 RES, +1 Move, and if you have 30 in your stats you can get to +3 Str, +7 MAG, +3 Skl, +3 Spd, +8 DEF, +6 RES, +1 Move.

    So basically, it trades STR/SKL/SPD bonuses for DEF/RES/Move bonus and they share a magic bonus.

    Now, I tend to have my own Avatar married to a Dark Flier, so its not that bad of an issue; they appreciate those bonuses

    Wow I didn't think of that! Well My M!MU will be paired with Olivia!Lucina. Not sure what to do classwise with her, but I am certain that I will think of something :D:

  7. It's because they have 8 Mov, good defenses, keep your weapon ranks from Grandmaster, aren't slow and have a strong Ignis. Basically they're extremely solid all-round options for Tacticians when you don't have a particular goal in mind due to being bad at nothing and having no major weaknesses.

    Ahh, I guess that is why you suggested it for M!Morgan as well. :D: If only I had seen it sooner! Well I guess that it means that I have yet again actually learned something :D:

  8. The only skill she needs from Olivia is Galeforce. If you want to pass something else, Swordfaire or Lancefaire would be pretty nice. The former if you want to use Falchion. Otherwise, she wants DS+ and Aether which is from her starting class, and Luna which is also from a Chrom class.

    Right, that makes some sense. Just make sure that Olivia hands down Galeforce and we're grouse :D:

  9. It's just skills that have a percent of activating to boost an attack, ie. Aether, Luna, Sol, Ignis, Astra, Lethality, etc.

    Oh! Hmm I will have to change up Lucina's skill set then I think. I am not sure what to have Olivia hand down I am going to bench her once I get Lucina and Inigo (as well as bench Inigo as well because I really don't need him). Are there any skills (other than Galeforce) that would be good for Olivia to hand down to Lucina?

  10. There's a Boots chest in Cht.17, and another pair from 50,000 Renown. Since it's impossible to get infinite pairs of Boots in a single file (except on Logbook units), getting both of those is fairly important.

  11. Yeah you're already running two procs on each of those units, you shouldn't have trouble killing anything Lethality can help with. Morgan might want to grab a +Mov skill instead.

    Hmm I keep forgetting what a proc is :/ I guess that I might have to try to shake the skills up a bit.

  12. I was wondering which class to end my M!MU (+Def -Lck/+HP -Lck) for my final run through Awakening. I will be using min exp (as much as possible). I would like to know how others have ended their M!MUs to get a general idea of what to do with him. Thanks for the help

    I am thinking of doing just that :D: especially since I seem to be going through expensive weapons quite a bit :/ I think I have F!Morgan's skills down as follows:

    ~Despoil/Counter

    I am also thinking of the following skills for Olivia!Lucina as a Great Lord:

    ~Lethality

    ~Rightful King

    ~Astra

    ~Aether

    ~Galeforce

    Not sure what to give M!MU but I am certain that Ignus is a good start (and perhaps Renewal/Lifetaker to get health back) but other than that I am at a loss. Also what class allows GL Lucina best support M!MU?

    Extra ability to get gold heck yes :D: I always seem to run out of gold and break really good weapons fairly quickly D:

  15. Grima also has dragonskin (which is why counter gets nullified). Every enemy on Apo just has dragonskin.

    Right and as I mentioned, I don't intend to play Apo. I can easily switch up F!Morgan's skills before I face Grima as well. Axefaire would be useless because I highly doubt that she would or will be a Hero. I am very tempted to just have her finish as a Grandmaster or a tome wielding class. *shrugs* I haven't completely decided that yet.

  16. Counter doesn't work in Apoth (which I'm assuming you're going for). I'd say give her Axe-faire (only if she goes Hero though), or Wrath. Rally Strength is also a good skill, but Morgan can do so much more then be a rally bot.

    I have no idea about making an Apoth team. I was more concerned with beating Grima than that ^^'

  17. I'm thinking of giving F!Morgan counter from M!MU is there any other male exclusive skills that might be better for her (Olivia!Lucina is going to be her mother). I am not sure yet which class Morgan will be in when she finishes so those would be useful too :D:

    M!MU is +HP -Lck (I think)

  18. Chapter 5 is my worst nightmare, honestly. (Curses you! Stop killing Ricken!) It even gives me trouble in Hard Mode, which a little pathetic, haha.

    I can't really say much on this one then I must have a lot of luck D: I find that I don't even lose Ricken in this chapter.
