  1. I'm not paranoid at all about them messing up my pre-order. Because I don't have one. ;_;
  2. I know a few key details. Mega spoilers: I don't know much beyond that plot-wise, if there's even anything left.
  3. I'd like to try and have every class represented in my final army, so I'll be turning redundant folk into the DLC classes most likely.
  4. Theoretically Kanna should have access to every skill in the game save for special classes, since Corrin can get just about any skill and pass it down to Kanna. You'd have to do a lot of shopping, though.
  5. It could be that they only removed swimsuits from the shop, but left them in for the bathhouse. But it could also just be an inaccurate screenshot or something.
  6. I intend to go Birthright > Conquest > Revelations, with Revelations being the main file I keep around for DLC, grinding, ect. No planned order for replays though.
  7. I'm still going to try and get the Special Edition the day it comes out, but failing that I think I'll start with Birthright. I like the Nohrians more but I want to "save" them for later rather than start with them.
  8. You also now only have to buy the DLC you want once instead of twice, and get linked-save benefits like a shared Support Log and certain items. Out of curiosity, which one did you cancel?
  9. I don't think standard skinship is in. I'm pretty sure they're just referring to the wakeup minigame, not skinship proper.
  10. I'm just going to say that buying both Birthright and Conquest as physical copies is somewhat unwise. You're better off buying just one and then downloading the other as DLC. Not only is it cheaper, but you get the benefits of linking the games (Shared DLC, special benefits like the Ebon Wings and Dread Scrolls, and a shared Support Log, among other things).
  11. Swoleo: Do you even lift, bruh? But yeah, all the males use the same model when shirtless, leading to this... interesting juxtaposition. Females have a few different models to account for bust size differences (Camilla is a lot more busty than, say, Midoriko, obviously), and then there's Draj or whatever they're calling her now, who has a unique model to account for her obesity.
  12. It was... Bantu! Anyway, the thing about insecurity being an attractive trait in a video game is, besides the fact that it's much easier to "fix" than in real life, is also a matter of distant observation. A lot of people find it cute or endearing to observe through a computer screen because they have full control over when and how they interact with the character, and are never going to have to devote their life to that person. Many of those people would find that kind of insecurity extremely frustrating if they had to deal with it in real life. Which can be sometimes dangerous and hurt the insecure person even further if someone pursues a relationship with them under the assumption that they'll be easy to fix and endearing. "Ugh, you're nothing like my fantasy! I'm done with you."
  13. While Camilla and Xander wouldn't have the Westermarck Effect in place, Corrin logically should if they were kidnapped before they were about six years old.
  14. It's a culture thing, yeah. When you say "pedophile", most people's first thoughts are some hairy 40-60 year old man getting touchy toward his students, neighbor's kids, or nephew/niece. Or an otaku online gushing about an anime girl's panties. A lot of people simply don't register an adult female preying on a young male (Or at least expressing sexual attraction toward them) as the same crime, which is why people are hesitant to hire on male teachers at elementary schools or leave their children alone with a male babysitter. There's also an element of gender power dynamics, of course; the aforementioned example isn't seen as a woman preying on a boy but as a boy somehow "conquering" an adult woman like a real man. What I find rather odd, though, is not the pedophilia double standard but the incest one. Sakura, Elise, and sometimes Camilla are frequently brought up in the "eww, that's your sister, why can you marry them" way, yet nobody really bats an eye at the roughly twenty trigintillion girls talking about what they want to do to Takumi, Leo, or Xander (Poor Lobster Lord...). Incest is usually equally taboo across gender.
  15. The title's a bit inaccurate. Blowing on your spouse and waking them up are two separate "minigames".
  16. There's some subtle differences. Belka's hair is closer to teal. Azura's is pretty close to Flora's, but it's still not quite the same shade of blue.
  17. I really like that not only is Foleo a guy, but also apparently straight as a ramrod and perfectly secure about it. It's nice to see gender and sexuality stereotypes be subverted.
  18. Well, we know at least one more class is getting its name changed.
  19. It's a shame the amiibo units can't show up in the bathhouse. Male Robin never got to have someone walk in on him naked like female Robin.
  20. Leo: Hello my sister WHO IS TOTALLY AN ADULT AND NOT ACTUALLY A YOUNG CHILD BY THE WAY, how are you today? But in all seriousness, as blatantly obvious an insert as that line is, it's better than the alternative of leaving her potentially a young teen or preteen.
  21. That's why I'd liked to have used Nosferatu, nerfed though it is. But no horsie units also have dark magic. That's a pretty good idea.
