there is some risk, but IIRC without sigurd/lachesis the hitrate is around 35 or so, so with them it'd be even better.

dew can kill the cross knights pretty easily with the light sword too.

its good to give deirdre the magic ring in chapter 1, it helps her clear the arena's in chapter 1 and get to keimos (maybe beat him too with prayer) in chapter 2 since she just oneshots things. Azel can use the ring to beat the merc that owns him i guess though. ardan can beat the windmage with ambush and a dodge or 2 as well.

he can still clear level 6 on both stages pretty easy, he's only losing out on like 60 exp. Dulles has pretty bad hit on him too, so its not out of the question. He's probably not beating keimos though.

noish can clear the arena's pretty easily (or get pretty far at least) because of critical alone really. Alec has issues, but its still not that hard to get him to ~level 25 just playing normally.

L'Arachel has one with Riev, Valter has them with the twins, and everyone on baldo's list. It's in the game script, shouldn't be hard to find, at the bottom.

Yeah, Flo has one less Con. Unpromoted Farina/Fiora can rescue him though I guess, although you'll need all the combat help you can get.

unfourtunately, only Florina and Priscilla can rescue promoted hector. At least all your other units have such low con that even Vaida can rescue them!

I think the H5 generic enemies would be harder than the actual bosses, haha. I think fe3 is possible because of the way crits work and apparently Medeus only has 15 defence (he halves your attack, but still) in book 1 & 2, so that's still workable. also E rank (or sometimes D Rank when there's no E rank like Flux in FE7) tomes are allowed too I guess, although magic users usually have lower caps.

honestly it might work with free seth, he doesn't completely nullify some early units (garcia saves a turn in the wall chapter, Vanessa saves some in other chapters, Franz saves one in 8, etc) maybe we'll try one a bit later. I still don't think Marcus should be free in FE7 either though, but that's a different game so yeah. Vanessa/Franz are way stronger than Lowen/Florina in their repective games.

nah, you can kill julius using the berserk staff on the Hel mage. Iron's always still do 1 HP! you can pump up dart to 53 attack with supports and filla's might i'm pretty sure, that's 13? damage to the dragon and he has a pretty good critrate. The DS games would probably be impossible though on the harder difficulties.

I also thought of something at work today, what would happen if the last (fourth) pick got three picks in their first pick phase? Would it help them at all? (or nerf 1/2nd pick?) It'd be like 1- Vanessa, Moulder, Garcia/Ross 2- Seth, Saleh, Garcia/Ross 3- Franz, Lute. who cares etc 4- Tana, Artur, Gilliam I guess theoretically 4th pick could go like TANA LUTE ARTUR then get neimi or something for chapter wallbreaking 5th pick looks terrible man like eirika solo is so bad compared to seth, you lose like 25 turns I think FE8 might just be an unfourtunate game for drafts. Seth automatically beats Franz, and I think he debateably beats Vanessa too. Sure, he'll have a lame warper, but such is life, he can manage. I think i'm looking at 93 turns, potentially could have been less if Eirika and Gilliam didn't suck super hard in chapter 9, (like wtf Eirika, 6 strength?). I forget what the record is, but I'm pretty sure that's pretty close to it? Seth just owns too much in the first 8 chapters (except 7, I probably should have picked Ross instead of Garcia or Gilliam)

when i tried a low level run like 3 years ago i ragequit on kinships bond, but i had quality units such as 8 strength wil and 3 speed bartre. It might not be too bad anymore, but I actually remember it being a challenge. You could try Iron weapons only, I started an FE8 run with only Irons, and well, Seth might still ORKO everything but im sure FE7 will be different! Also almost unbeatable since you'd need some heavy supports and Filla's might to beat the dragon. I've been trying to figure out what games are actually beatable with only irons, and there are actually quite a few, lol.
