  1. For someone who claims to have "forgot how to draw" I'd say you did a pretty good job regardless.
  2. Hands down one of the best battle themes in Xenoblade. 10/10 The Clifflands - Octopath Traveler
  3. In my experience, I've seen this argument most commonly used as a defense by people who enjoy a particular game in a series that other fans do not like. A few common examples I see of this are Final Fantasy XIII, DMC: Devil May Cry, and Castlevaina: Lords of Shadow. But in any case I'd call it a easy escape argument when people who try to defend these games because they've run out of other things to say about the game either because A: They aren't very good at explaining why they like the game or B: They're dealing with a class-A jerkoff who thinks their opinion is the only one that matters and everyone else needs to think exactly the same way as they do and won't acknowledge any other viewpoint as valid regardless of how well it is presented to them.
  4. So are we talking "Marth walks down the street and bumps into Shulk" or "Xenoblade Characters fighting on a grid-like map in turn based combat?"
  5. Maybe I was being a little presumptuous, which I admit is one of my biggest flaws. But I think the point still sands to try and have as little overlap between maps as possible to really bring out the diversity of the Xeno franchise's fantastical and alien worlds. Also that tweet is hilarious.
  6. I like how it say this information has been "cross referenced with industrial insiders/leakers." as if there's some sort of secret cabal in the gaming industry that works to spill information to the public. I don't think this is a real leak though, it's more of a prediction based on past trends.
  7. Submitted! Hopefully it provides useful data for you project.
  8. While I haven't played TTGC(Heck I've still got a LONG way to go in XC2 proper) I would like to quickly weigh in on the who gets which blade question. I think the best way to handle the Aegis is to separate Pyra and Mythra between Rex and Addam receptively. Yes I know they're technically the same character, but their both visually distinct enough from each other that I think it would be less jarring than having 2 Myrthras at the same time. As for the other blades, there's no really obvious work around like there is with the Aegis so I can't really say. On the subject of Voice Acting, I think it's safe to say the actors from XC2 and XCX would comeback since those are the most recent games in the series and I assume a number of them probably have contracts to keep them in their roles for squeals, spin offs, and possibly multimedia endeavors because of the series breakout success. XC1 might be trickier since it's 7 years old at this point and some of the actors probably moved on to other things a while ago, but I'm sure an agreement for their return can be arranged. Choosing maps to use I feel might be harder than we think, sure each game has it's own gorgeously deigned worlds with tons of creative possibilities, but there's also a lot of geographical overlap between each game that aren't very visually different from each other. Example: Gaur Plain, Primordia, and Gormott. Fans of the series would be able to tell which one's which, but an outside going not having played those games might confuse one stage for the others because they're just too similar looking. So the trouble is finding out which "grassy plain with sickle shaped mountains" do we use? I'm certain it would be Gaur Plain because of Smash Bros., but I could always be wrong. Besides this game technically doesn't exist yet, we're all mostly just setting unreasonably high expectations in our heads right now.
  9. We share a common interest in a particular franchise.
  10. @Armagon I agree that creating a true Xenowarriors would be a nightmare to pull off, but I still hope that they'd at least try to work something out. While I've only played the 3 Xenoblade games and I do think they could carry a cross over without Xenogears and Xenosaga, I also wouldn't want the fans of those games to be let down by their absence. As I stated earlier, Fire Emblem Warriors's lack of representation for the GBA games, the Radiance games, and the japan exclusive games really turned a lot of people off from that game despite the fact that the gameplay itself is really good all things considered. I wouldn't want that to happen a second time, especially if it's from one of my favorite franchises.
  11. At this point I would be more surprised if Xenowarriors didn't happen. It's clearly the best Nintendo franchise to spin off in the warriors series after The Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem. Let's just hope that if this becomes a real game they learn from their mistakes with Fire Emblem Warriors concerning the roster and it's lack of representation for parts of the series.
  12. I rarely use pre-premoted units acquired early on because they usually don't have the potential to grow very much by the end of the game. Seth on the other hand is the exact opposite, but it creates a entirely new problem if you're looking for any sense of challenge out of the game. Seth is one of the series strangest phenomena to say the least.
  13. Because I'm sure it sounds just as ridiculous if you know Japanese. Where's the Beef?
  14. It depends on in what context they are falling down. The more irrational they we're being, the funnier the wipe out. In Fire Emblem Heroes, what happens to the characters you dismiss from your army?
  15. Absolutely. Because I'm a far too empathetic person to do otherwise. Why do I always ask meta questions about the nature of asking a question or being asked a question when I post here?
  16. It takes some additional time to sort out the contracts for the purchase so it's going to be more than two weeks to actually move in, but I'll survive. It's kinda stressful, but I also get a lot of free time to relax since I'm unemployed at the moment so I wouldn't say it's a difficult situation to be in.
  17. Well my dad had to move down ahead of us to start working at his new job(which we are very grateful for) and he didn't really have a lot of time to house hunt on his own since it's a management position. Our old house also sold in a week after going on the market so we spent the month of September packing everything up and moving out so that the new owner could move in. So now we're all together again and we should have a house picked out within the next week, maybe two weeks if need be.
  18. Which one? The Bees or the Chickens? Edit: Sarcasm aside, Chickens are actually quite fun to pet, their feathers are really soft.
  19. Have you seen a PO Box? They are SMALL. If there are multiple right answers to a question, how do you pick the best answer?
  20. So as some of you may have noticed I've changed my location from Minnesota to North Carolina, that's because I live here now. As of right now we don't have a house picked out so we're living in a hotel with an extended stay rate, but because of this I don't have a permanent address and it's made life... interesting. I can't get a North Carolina driver's licence with out one so I'm told to treat my Minnesota one like I'm on an extended vacation and I had to get a PO Box to start applying for jobs and for applying to colleges. I'm sure this is only the beginning of many weird bumps and hiccups that comes with doing seemingly basic tasks in modern life without an address since I'll most likely be stuck here for about another month until we settle on a house agreement, which for the uninformed actually takes quite a bit more time than you would think. But don't worry about me too much, I'm still plenty comfortable at the moment and I don't expect to be otherwise anytime soon. Feel free to share your experiences moving out of state here as well.
  21. This is beyond my ability to heal, you need elvish medicine.(I definitely didn't watch The Lord of The Rings last night) Where do you put the 51st person on a bus with a 50 person carrying capacity?
  22. Dante's new theme is so bad that I actually find it funny, hilarious even. I can't help but laugh trying to listen to it. Actually one of my favorite cover artists on YouTube made his own version of the song that's a lot better than the original. Here's a link if anyone is interested: https://youtu.be/jsaeNKrL8nE
