The hero fest banners/summoning tickets were a nice surprise! Got my second ever Brave Ike (STEADY BREATH) as my free pull on the first AND I FREE PULLED LEANNE ON THE LEGENDARY BANNER!!! After using all my orbs on the last legendary banner and failing to get Yune and failing to get Leanne on her first banner I could be happier. She’s +def -hp so she’s not even cursed with a bad bane like I expected she would be. Leanne’s all I wanted, so I’m done with the legendary banner.

I may not have her yet but I gotta support Yune! My second choice is whoever wins between Nino and Delthea, and since they’re all on the same side of the bracket that’s all I gotta worry about.

Aw, I was hoping for a staff Celica (I’m not biased at all lmao) but I had a feeling it would be Alm instead. BUT I wasn’t expecting Leanne to show up so soon! Why did I have to waste orbs on the picnic banner for characters I don’t even really care about? Here’s hoping this Legendary Banner goes better than Yune’s did! Side note with every level 4 skill we get the more Brave Celica’s Death Blow 4 looks sad :/

This one wasn’t bad at all, though the blue archer was annoying to deal with. Just 300 grails to go for Marisa! I love guidance shenanigans, and sorry if there’s an issue with the quality.

Sacred Seals have been a great addition to the game and we’ve gotten access to some unique builds thanks to them. What are some of the skills you want to see as skills? Personally I want Atk and Spd tactic to finish off the tactic seals (especially with how hard Spd tactic is to get otherwise) and more of the bond seals, but I’d really love to mess around with a Guard seal. It’s a good skill but I have a hard time justifying it as a b-slot skill with things like Quick Riposte or Desperation as competition. I feel like it would be more useful as a Sacred Seal, like how Distant Defense and Close Defense are arguably better as seals than a-slot skills. What about y’all?

This’ll be a fun rotation with Marisa as a bonus unit (even if she doesn’t synergize super great with my flier offense team)...she’s already taken a defense wave boosted Lukas Ignis to the face and she handles Duma well with null follow up

Performing Arts! I love singers and dancers in general and both banners so far have been amazing, between using Azura’s underused Nohr dress, giving us our first male dancers, having a super adorable theme for characters (seeing Inigo and Shigure actually get to be dancers/singers like their moms!) and the second one giving us our first Tellius seasonals (because the bride banner didn’t happen), some really cute outfits, and even if we also had two unnecessary Fates alts they were handled well.

...Seriously? Valentia has a whopping zero seasonals and when they finally get a seasonal banner 3/5 units are from Fates??????? Ugh. The concept was cute but I am not here for more Fates seasonals, especially more Fates Royals (even if Leo’s on the lower end of alts there). Seriously, how do all of the Fates royals have at least two alts (hell I think everyone but Hinoka has at least two seasonals) before some of our lords even get one? Where’s a Celica seasonal or an Alm or hell a Leif or Seliph?

I’m also feeling Genny but I’d also mention Fae for the left (though she did get a seasonal somewhat recently). The right though has me stumped, especially if it’s a full Valentian banner...the right looks like a girl (bow on the arm) but that hair/hat doesn’t remind me of any of the other Valentian ladies.

I’ll add Tempest Trials+ for making it less of a grind (special mention to the changes they made after the very first Tempest Trial too because that first one was rough). Also giving us a free summon on every banner! It gives you a reason to pull on every banner and you never know what you might be lucky enough to get with it Also also Sacred Seals in general

I’d both love and hate a bride Celica, because on the one hand seasonal Celica! That might finally not be red (though a staff legendary unit is also a possibility, and we do have a colorless legendary hero coming up...)! In a pretty dress! But on the other hand I’m already trying to save up for Yune’s rerun and whenever Leanne gets another banner...

This wasn’t too bad actually, and it’s my first solo clear! While she does technically have Cherche’s drive speed and Micaiah’s joint hone speed at some points, everything is so slow that it doesn’t affect anything. She does benefit from her ally support very slightly on turn one though (not enough to significantly change anything but still), because if I tried to put Micaiah somewhere else Haar moved the wrong way. A Silas was promoted and killed for this clear (because otherwise Marisa needs her ally support to survive the lance cavalier and dammit I wanted this to be as close to a true solo as I could), and I’m so glad we have so many great seals at this point!

@Nanima Your team made this look nice and easy, and Fallen Takumi is so close to being +10! Great job all around. Sorry if there’s any quality issues, but that was more of a struggle than the map itself The map itself was a piece of cake! The changes to their base kits (atk/def bond for Celica and Fierce Stance plus Bonfire instead of Ignis for Marisa) weren’t even necessary, they just made it a little cleaner. I might actually go back and try to solo it with Marisa, because all of those physical enemies are asking for it (really only the blue mage might give me a problem, I just need to time my special right).

Got Lethe with just the 7 orbs I started with plus the 20 story orbs!!!! Which of course means she’s -atk, but I will take it

What I’m getting from all this Haar debate is that it’s impressive that Cherche’s statline is still so optimized when she was a 3-4* launch unit (how many other units can still say they’re the best at their role since launch?). The Prf Brave Axe of course helps but even before that/without it her spread still holds up really well. Stat wise I don’t have a problem at all with Haar because that added bulk can help him stand out, but I do wish there was something more interesting about his kit. Yes Brave Axe and Guard suit him based on the source material but a Prf to help him stand out would’ve been nice or at least better fodder. Lethe’s spread though is gorgeous and I’m quickly going from “she’d be nice to have” to “I really want her” and the six orbs I have to my name are crying already.

Wow, wasn’t expecting another Tellius banner so soon! It’s good to see this group getting in, especially with how popular Ranulf and Haar are. Personally I’m only interested in Lethe but overall it’s a great banner! It’s gonna be interesting to see who demote here (unless they pull a Fates banner on us...) because none really stand out as one (well other than not Caineghis)

Fresh out of of orbs and won’t have enough pull tomorrow. I was going for Yune but wound up with two Lewyns instead. I’m probably gonna save one in case I ever get a Sonya (really she should be in the demote list if we ever get a mass demotion...) for special spiral, but I’m not sure what I want to do with the other...Odd Atk Wave could be hilarious overkill on Celica or mesh perfectly with Nino’s prf, or maybe I should save him as well for someone who’d appreciate special spiral. Gonna try and start saving for either the June legendary banner for another shot at Yune or for when Leanne gets a banner, at least as long as none of the upcoming banners are super interesting.

@mampfoid Amazing as always, it was hilarious to see Hector fly across the map just to reposition Roy! He makes a great if unconventional cheerleader. Caeda and the axe armor was also really close, so nice job getting that to work out. Again my team for this isn’t particularly unique or noteworthy but dammit I did it! Besides, it’s a little funny to see Summer Camilla and barefoot Azura in the snow I was lucky enough to have enough dragon flowers to give Elincia a boost; I really didn’t want to have to switch my summoner support for the one hp she needed. Camilla could’ve taken out the lance cavalier towards the end with the extra movement from Gray Waves but it’s not often that Airzura gets to kill anything, especially on Abyssal, which is a shame because she’s got a decent offensive spread. Overall I didn’t feel like this one was too bad. At least the map wasn’t full of unpassable walls

I was hoping for Yune or Ashera, and being a green tome flier is an added bonus (for some reason I have 4 each of the the other colors but not a single green tone flier)! Green looks like a good color in general between Kagero and Lewyn’s amazing fodder. Nothing else really stands out personally (only Legendary Lucina would be a pleasant surprise), so I’m going full green!

My dream banner (also my dream Radiant Dawn banner!): Heather (colorless dagger), Lucia (red sword), Ilyana (blue tome with dragon effectiveness), and Vika (green flying beast to round out the colors). GHB: Ashera or Dheginsea or Jill (as an Axe Flier) TT: Fiona (do we need more lance cavaliers? No, but I like her dammit)

No problems here, though this is two maps in a row where I had to give Micaiah a breaker skill which is annoying (while it was possible to boost her speed enough to double Rutger, swordbreaker worked better for moving the ai in a convenient way). Micaiah can actually double and one shot the red flier if she’s standing beside someone, but I feel like it’s more fun to end on a special you know?

I would like to mention that I don’t think you can say a male character was added for female fanservice the way some of the women have been for male. I’m seeing Keaton and Adrift Corrin popping up as “they were included to please the women” when both clearly fit the theme of their banners. Corrin showed up with his female counterpart, his mother, and if you include the tempest trial a version of the other major character with a connection to Valla. A banner with the four of them makes sense thematically (even if it still would’ve been unnecessary) but the banner we got had a clear character that didn’t belong: Camilla, who is an infamous fanservice character in at this point. The Fates Beast banner has exactly who was expected to be on there, as leaving Keaton out but including the only three other beasts would’ve made no sense. If there had been a Xander or Leo (or whoever straight/bi girls like) beast alt then there’d be a case for including a character to please the female fan base. There’s definitely an argument that could be made about the artist designing them with appealing to women in mind though, but I feel that the disntinction is important. Also, when it comes to male vs female fanservice I feel it’s very important to look at now just how much or how little they’re wearing but also to look at how they’re presented and posed, like Noire’s ridiculous attacking pose that’s clearly drawn to show off her chest and butt at the same time, Summer Corrin’s bikini literally falling off and just barely covering anything in her damaged art (really a lot of the damaged art for the women in general can be questionable), Catria’s weirdly twisted neutral art that again is meant to show off the chest and butt to name a few. This isn’t to say that the men aren’t sexualized but there’s definitely fewer of them that are and even they are a lot less likely to be in a weirdly warped pose to show off assets or only barely be covered by strategically placed disintegrating clothing.

This goddess of destruction! She doesn’t even have a great boon yet but if I need something dead she’s up to the task. I can think of several Abyssals that were only cleared with her and three dancers; her destructive power is that good.

Other than her damaged art being awful I actually really like Loki’s art here! The outfit’s a bit skimpy but I feel like it’s handled better than some of the other fan servicey designs (especially the chest area when compared to her original art which I despise). I know her face looks different from her original design but personally I feel like it’s an improvement. I would kill for a speed tactic seal (at least atk tactic is on Legault). A bond seal would also be nice, as would a death blow seal.
