  1. Thanks for pointing that out it should be fixed now. The Banner Trailer just dropped. I think I'll include it here too since they basically are tied together.
  2. The 1-2 weapons in 3H are pretty trash. Anyone can use an Iron Bow which is better all around as a range weapon, and for a D rank in Bows anyone can use Mini Bow. Halfway through part one if you're playing with the Blue Lions you get a Retribution gambit that gives units in range Distant Counter anyway. For other routes getting someone to A rank Authority lets someone use the other battalion has Retribution. The only use for those 1-2 melee weapons is when you have Faire skills so that they do decent chip damage compared to just using a Mini Bow. The issue with those 1-2 weapons was that they were generally the optimal choice of weapon during enemy phase. Fates balanced them a bit so that it wasn't just plop someone in the middle of everything with a 1-2 weapon and call it a day. I guess you can live without using them since they aren't that broken in Fates, but could be useful at times for enemy phase chip or chip in general.
  3. "Flying Byleth". Listen I'm not trying to be a waifu chaser it's just the optimal choice. I don't know if this post can be pinned or something because people are still going to post if they can't clear that map. Even though it will be rare since the game is decently old now. I'm one of those "Just train your in-house characters" people. Honesty I don't have any real advice outside of that because I usually just BS my way through the map, and from my perspective if the units that you are forced to use have decent builds you can figure out something.

  5. Good thing Reginn can nuke Dedue to the moon. The most annoying thing for me was Flayn because you can't bait her out immediately and that slows down the next turn when you want to player phase all of the other pests.
  6. CYL is almost here! I've been waiting... The Double Special probably has Harmonized Dorothea, so I'll look out for that too. INB4 Marianne on the Dancer banner in September. Cavalier dancer of course, simply broken. Perfectly suited for a CYL first place winner.
  7. Could have used the shied that nullifies cavalry effectiveness or just have straight up the Null Cavalty Effect skill like Edelgard has for Armor, but I guess he really wants to 1v1 without any extra help.
  8. +Mag/-Def probably. Your Corrin's pair-up gives Ophelia +1 STR/+2 MAG/+2 SPD as opposed to +1 MAG/+2 SPD/+1 DEF/+1 RES. Kana will have her Magic cap higher as well.
  9. So we have Stall Ploy as the counter to Holy Knight Aura, hilarious. In AR the Safety Fence will be more of a counter to Odd Recovery since that skill literally invalidated every negative status effect, so they had to do something so that Stall Ploy is even worth having. I kind of wish that the first summer banner already ended so people can't last minute pull for more Even Recovery I'm definitely not salty about anything.

  13. Man, thank the people who were most likely saving their multiplier boost from a few hours back for Ashe. There's a bright side of me not pulling Hilda, the streak of getting upsets has broken.
  14. Yeah, I was surprised. She did it in Infernal, so I was wondering if it would still work in Abyssal. Also nice of Ullr to lower her defense with LnD.
  15. Ullr knows what's up with Blade Session, well so does Byleth. Plus a little Pathfinder tech.
  16. I can't wait to see how many of the try-hard players complain about how their defense is "oppressed" with that new structure. I do use a Return trap when Lif is a bonus so I guess I'll have to rethink that team. It's cool that it uses Heavenly Dew since that resource is poorly optimized for usage, and doesn't dip into the relatively scare Aether Stones.
  17. You have the right ideas. Effie has overall better mods so she makes the better mom stat wise. With what you have now you could pass down Sol to both kids.
  18. I just released that Duo Lif doesn't have Open the Future. Would have definitely been broken, but I guess since his weapon doesn't give the -1 cooldown, so the 2-turn special is better anyway. No, her's was White and Red in 3H. So the purple is new in Heroes. It's even a little different to a version she got in Cipher. There's the potential GHB around the same time, and his base version could work there. Even though he is the first place winner I don't think they'll put him on a banner. For the units: Marianne: Probably Holy Knight with Blutgang. Maybe colorless/blue tome with a special Aura. Who knows her being a popular dancer choice is pretty well known (she even has a cipher card), I'm expecting her to be the next cavalier dancer at some point, not necessarily for CYL. Gatekeeper: I was thinking Great Knight using an Axe, but we've gotten a million Axe cavaliers this year, and I'm not sure we need another Duessel/Zeke so soon. Another wild guess could be an Armored Bow using a ballista, because why not. And I'm not knowledgeable on the other two so we'll just see.
  19. I'll go Ashe first since he's the only one I have lol. Then I'll pivot to Hilda or the she-goat.
  20. Which route are you playing? Units like Selena, Peri, and Oboro can be good Great Lords. Lodestar is a bit strange, your male Corrin would probably be the best. Units like Hinata and Laslow already come with Sword rank, and Speedtaker can patch up their low speed.
  21. When I played Hard Mode on my first run, I did grind just so all of my units were usable, but that wasn't necessary. My overall levels were lower than most other people I saw playing by the end. The game shouldn't be too hard as long as you aren't getting too screwed on your stat gains. There are also stat boosting fountains in different areas that can be helpful.
  22. The Fire Emblem Fandom Wiki has map data that tells you about the spawns and gives a warning if they are ambush spawns. Getting through Awakening on Hard would have been really annoying without that resource, and at least you have Divine Pulse in Three Houses. Usually if you just google the game and chapter title the site should be one of the first ones to show up. I don't know about how it explains things for older games since I don't play them.
  23. Either the Fox or Blade tome. You should have some foxes sitting around from the free Knoll we got a few months back.
