Sonia being the GHB. I wonder if Sonya being part of the current Hall of Forms really did foreshadow a "Sonya" being introduced. Perhaps two Sonya, Sonia of Blazing Blade and witch Sonya of Garden/SoV for the next fallen heroes banner. Or maybe not Sonya, by Sonya's sisters Marla and Hestia for the fallen hero banner. It would be wild to have a GHB with two units.

People were expecting a Fallen Sonya, but instead we have a Fallen Sonya at home.

Farina's weapon is so funny to me. I guess other characters that you have to give money to recruit could work similarly. I think Volke from the Radiant games is like that.

  2. Yeah things in Heroes is already color based. Right now Staffs and Melee weapons are locked to a color, but everything else can be any color. I guess they could have stuck to a more strict weapon triangle, where there isn't nonsensical colored Bows and Daggers just because. Too be fair there are certain balance choices and the it kinds of helps make the game less stale. You have a Green Bow like Shamir that hard counters Brave Hector, where if she was colorless the match up wouldn't be as decisive in her favor.

  3. One banner will definitely be a mix and match. I'm expecting a Duo Matilda and Clive for the Bridal banner, so I'm not expecting a full Valentia Summer Banner. I'd expect some thing like:

    1. Kliff
    2. Tobin (Might be too many guys for Heroes' standard so he could be replace with someone else based on the Harmonized pair)
    3. Clair
    4. Some random Harmonized pair
    5. Gray as a Tempest Reward

It would be cool to see Kliff as the reoccurring Blue mage flier, but that could easily be Clair as well. The others could be Sharena, if they don't want to shaft her for too long, and a Harmonized Mirabilis and Mitama.

I'm not too familiar with the other games, but either a full Jugdral or Tellius banner makes sense. Leaning more to Jugdral since we had Mia and Rhys last year. They will definitely want the more recognizable characters like Seliph and Leif. Others could be Nanna and Fee.

  4. @Samz707 Sorry for getting back to you so late. Pretty much what Dark Holy Elf said. I think Striding on turn 2 to get your units around Byleth is ideal, but you could possibly get back to the boss with Byleth if you have Rescue maybe.

Your natural Archers like Bernadetta, Shamir, and Petra should be able to one shot the birds after one of their shields is gone with a Silver Bow of Steel Bow+. If your having trouble you could try again after a few more in-game weeks before it's gone, maybe Ferdinand wants A rank Lance for Swift Strikes. Make sure your units can kill things in a quick manner. Iron Bow is only rank E so any off your units can use that as well.

  5. @Samz707 What kind of units are you working with? And are you at the last possible week to be able to do that map, because I'm not sure how you would be able to salvage things at that point.

I think I usually Stride at some point in the beginning to get all of my units around where Byleth is. The Archer Battalion with 2 uses is pretty good here. Some of the enemies usually line up in a way that you can make good use of Assault Troop and Group Magic.

  6. I wonder if they will release the full mix at some point. Tap Battles is pretty much dead at this point. I don't remember when was the last time they ran it. Also I saw people talking about dancer Reginn, and I don't think I'm ready for Canto'ing Cavalier Dancer in this game.

  7. Every time I want to start saving long term they release something super tempting. So the new resource can give you a free Forma Soul after 3 spark banners, and in hall of forms you can get 3 more torches, which might be helpful RIP Ruptured Sky on my Spring Palla. It's likely during CYL you can get 4 of the Celestial Stones from one banner, which is pretty good. I can't wait to see the degen stuff people will make, like Firesweep Claude and Lull Res Olwen. I definitely don't want to see a cav healer in HoF.

Is it worth to build Eliwood to +10 when I have a Brave Roy+2(+atk)? Reason I'm asking is I'm debating on getting Eliwood's Resplendent outfit since I plan to buy the FEH pass when Micaiah's resplendent outfit is available and thought I might as well get it. I also hear that Eliwood requires a lot of investment to be good. That's why I'm still a little hesitant to build him but if he is worth it, I'll build one since he is also one of my fav characters. But I don't have a lot of resources since I just came back to the game not too long ago. If he is worth to build, is +spd or +atk better? I have both that I can use.

I'm also curious on how good Eldigan is as well since I also like his resplendent outfit and I'm wondering if its worth to get XD

Another question: what's the best way to get divine dews? Almost all the units I want to improve on requires it.

Your Roy is probaby good enough for most of the in game content out side of competitvie modes. Eliwood is popular in Aether Raids, and he's easier to +10 and has the Resplendent like you said. Roy might get one eventually, but Eliwood at +10 will be better than Roy at +3. Personally I think Eliwood is still better because of his high res he's harder to kill. +Spd is generally better because of all of the speed creep, and with his popular galeforce build you don't want to one shot things.

Eldigan's best game mode right now is Pawns of Loki because of his high HP, just give him an Armorsmasher. I don't thinks it's really worth, but if you like him that much it's up to you.

You get Divine Dew from Weekly Rival Domains (10), if you have those blessed gardens backlogged there is some to get there I think, and there are some other game modes I think as well as some  from FEH pass. Otherwise you get Refining Stones from Arena and Arena Assault, that give you 50 divine dew after you refine an inheritable weapon.

Wow, you used Valentia Catria too! She's my favorite unit, so I'm glad to see someone else has her. Marianne is quite strong, but I'm more surprised about Python. He's really good with that Plegian Bow. I posted my clear if you wanna see a maxed out Catria 😛

Spd/Res Form from Rath was being useful here haha. I knew I would need a Red Nuke to deal with Dagr so my mind went to Catria first. I hope her base version gets a resplendent soon to give me an excuse to +10 her.

@NSSKG151 I saw this Anna one turn clear in my Youtube suggestions and though it must have been you. That guy has 3 NY!Peonys so not much else to say.

What do you mean "a stretch" ?

He talks about impressing the ladies, and Clair thinks he's only flirting with her during their early supports. In his game there aren't too many supports with other female characters so we don't see too much.

Generally when people say some thing is a stretch is when there isn't a lot of examples or strong enough logic to support what was said.

  11. Now the fridges are getting save skills, great. Not like it mattered for me anyway.

    Spoiler

I've been really enjoying these Abyssal maps lately. I can use my favorite units and don't have to resort to guides or cheese.

@BoaFerox Nice setup of units. I've wanted to do one turn clears, but too much investment isn't worth it. But those are units I have sitting around.

I was planning to skip the banner if the Mythic was Dark, but I need that New Light Mythic for the 6th slot and for Bonus unit in Offensive.

I was planning the same thing. It would have been weird to me for them to inherently make offense more difficult, but I could live without a new defense Mythic. Then I could finish the 40 summons on AHR.

It's likely that her sister will be next, but for the sake of people who are tired of OCs, and not enabling Pathfinder + 7th slot shenanigans, I hope not. Who knows maybe she'll simp for Otr again.

The banner is pretty nice over all. Merges for Guiniviere are welcome no more living on 1 HP Braimimonds and I don't have Duessel but I know how busted he is. Then Green and Colorless have some strong units that I'm missing.

what I should buy from using Midgard gems? current have 950/

You should have one of each building. From there the good ones to upgrade are Nifl Ice, Askr Symbol, and Heroic Banner. Generally the ones that don't have an HP condition, because the foes start to have a lot of health, and now the maps are big enough that those other buildings pretty much lost their niche. Some of the new summoner buildings are probably good too.

  14. That sounds pretty rough. Are you not in a situation to restart or something?

If your playing on Normal you shouldn't have to Killing weapon everything. I think Dimitri and Edelgard probably hits hard enough with a Silver weapons to one shot most things, or get close to it. Of course the Grapplers are a different story, but chip from range and finish up close should be fine. I'm just saying this to be mindful of your resources and not burn through Killers too fast.

For Yuri, Curve Shot from Claude and Ashe should be accurate and do good damage. And even if he Pavises Dimitri or Byleth, one should be able to take the hits, baring crit, and the other should avoid the double (I'm assuming). You could even use the Creator Sword combat art to be safe and do good damage as well. Then the little ally supports to give +5 Hit could be helpful.

I see. I've watched Pheonixmaster1 videos for a while and he talks about that skill alot. So I think that skill is important. So what about Armor unit equip with Duel skill, is that better ?

Armors don't have Duel skills since they are already the standard for scoring because of their high BST. The purpose of the Duel Skills is to allow units that don't have as high of a BST to score the same as an Armor unit. Even the more outdated armors score well.

The question at this point becomes how usable they are in an actual arena match where you're fighting +10 new and premium units.

  16. @Muskaan Mann Midori will give more Res from pair-up. She has less base Res growth than Sophie, but will probably inherit more Res from her parents. Who's her mother?

If you had classed Sophie into Great Knight, she would have a decent sword and axe rank for when she's a dread fighter, and potentially Luna. So, Sophie probably makes the better unit, but Midori makes the better pair-up partner.
