  1. I don't think Ayra is powercreep. However if some new skill combo, or sacred seal pushes red infantry over the edge. Ayra will be one of the best options (or if somehow reinhardt gets nerfed lolz)
  2. I don't even think Ayra is really that bad now that i think about it. I honestly dislike the limited time special banners way more. Like halloween and the performing arts banners sort of piss me off. Because they add new class types that we can't get anywhere else. Like another OP red really doesn't bother, it was poor taste sure. But the stupid exclusive dancer casters/new armor archetypes and stuff bothers me. They aren't recurring, and even if they were, if we summon for them again in 1 year whose to say that they are even viable by then? BST and powercreep might just keep going up a ton and we won't even been using them anymore. idk i'd rather they rebirth/give us a way to buff pre-existing units in a way. SI only has so much to it. Once the next new OP waifu comes out (Ayra isn't a bad example) most of the class they're in gets invalidated. If they did it like dokkan battle does, where some characters that have lost their strength from powercreep overtime can sort of get back in the meta (like killer weapons being able to be upgraded to slaying weapons, or like some sort of promotion thing where we get limited master seals etc)
  3. Kinda funny. i pulled her, grinded her up on warriors before that left. still haven't used her since, dunno. I'm enjoying my Ryoma i just pulled recently more
  4. Finally managed to pull a banner unit. After going up to 4.25% i got myself a +spd -def Henry. Could be better, but I can dig it. Finally have armor march for my armor emblem team
  5. 5* Club: Ursula- My first unit that i 5*'d was Ursula actually. This was before SI, when i heard about SI someone brought up how strong blade tomes would be with horse emblem buffs. So i decided to get on that horsey early and have her ready to use blarblade+ from the 2nd 5* i made Odin Xander- Misery loves company and Ursula needed some help doing the horse emblem thing, I don't regret it in the slightest, dude is a beast Camus- Because why not? I always though he was pretty cool, decided to train him up quite a bit later, I do enjoy using him as well Arvis- Actually pretty good unit, he helps quite a bit in chain challenges with healing and just general mage tanking. GHB wishlist: Valter: All time favorite villains, definitely wanna pick him back up when he comes out Berkut: wouldn't mind another horsey for the squad, can't say i'd immediately 5* him like i would Valter Less Honorable mentions: Lloyd- really excited about his release, super disappointed as soon as i saw his art. Honestly hoped it could be changed... Like seriously Linus be decent, please don't have the same artist or some crap. Zephiel- LnD 3 fodder Clarisse- Meh Legion- Meh Meh Meh Navarre- No reason to ever use him Narcian- Got some mild use out of him, he's pretty useless F Robin- scales were tipped, she's meh Michalis- Maybe when i build a Flyer emblem team he can take up a spot. unlikely
  6. I kinda find it an odd choice for IS to make all of these goofy special characters also have some of the strongest weapons/skills yet they retain their "event flair" like Sakura's new dagger could be the best dagger in the game, yet it's a goofy toy. It's fairly immersion breaking unless you're using the character herself. Just looks out of place when you put these weapons on other characters. I mean im all for trying get that cash and all, but you'd think they would start releasing some of these weapons that look like weapons. Most of the newer weapons (that don't follow the special event trend) have either been blatant upgrades to previous weapons or legendary weapons that can't be inherited.
  7. Hana and Corrin M. Please stop, i don't need LnD and Obstruct is one of the worst skills ever.
  8. I posted this on reddit, but might as well toss it here too https://imgur.com/BAaMl3y Brave Hector - Ostia's Brash Lord BST: 172 HP: 50 ATK: 34 SPD: 34 DEF: 35 RES: 19 Weapon: Light Brand MT: 16 Properties: Can attack and retaliate from range, ranged attacks hit the targets RES instead of DEF A Skill: Steady Breath B Skill: Ostia's Blessing: Effective against Infantry and Cavalry units. Foe's bonuses are nullified during combat. C Skill: Threaten Res 3 Special Skill: Blazing Thunder
  9. 0583542735 Got my boy Sigurd atm. I change my leader occasionally. Mostly my strongest units at any given time
  10. After a long streak of no 5*s I managed to get on a hot streak. Pulled Sigurd and Tailtiu in 10 orbs of each other. Then after doing some chain challenges decided to do a single and got this lovely lady. She's +Res -Spd. Not too bad!
  11. Unit wise - Seth: He's pretty garbage, one of my all time favorites in FE8. But he's largely unusable in this game, i use him for fortress defense fodder for goofy builds on other units that have a use - Palla: I had made my +atk -res Palla a 5* and gave her Brave sword+. Then Elincia was released and she's basically a better version of that build for Palla in every respect. Feels bad man - Sheena: She still has a spot on my armor emblem team, but she's basically a meh Amelia. But as soon as i pull Amelia she's getting benched, even with +3 merges (ugh the pity breaks for me trying to get hector were brutal) Art Wise - Lloyd: I'm sure he still gets tons of hate everywhere but it's for good reason. Easily one of my favorite Camus archetypes in FE and he's downright unusable because some goofball drew him like he did heroin for 6 years. (seriously i could of illustrated him better) - Navarre: Continuing the trend, for whatever reason he looks like some sort of Calvin Klein model. Idk he doesn't carry the same sort of stoic swordsmen for hire in his art.
  12. I think they aren't going to be losing revenue by keeping up with f2p orbs. Plenty of gacha games give a decent amount of f2p orbs and still make a steady flow of revenue based on the banners they release. As long as they don't do anything crazy to ruin the communities trust or come out with obvious cashgrabs i feel like they should be fine. Sometimes giving a decent amount of orbs can eventually turn more people into paying players because they feel like its a gacha game worth investing to. Removing f2p orbs all together and lowering the orb prices will not go over well. There might be an initial increase in sales, but for the long term it will kill the game
  13. Long enough to satiate my interest, been waiting long enough! Though on console i expect it to push 40 chapters.
  14. Making it so unmounted and mounted units can mount/dismount Or just have a class promotion option that can preform this action. I feel like good map design and such will help lead to interesting tactics and player decisions. Adding a class like this to the game would help promote interesting choices.
  15. Other Musou games had this option as free dlc a week or two down the line. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened like that
  16. heck in older musou games the higher difficulties tended to be insanely difficult. like random arrow or 2 could spell instant death (like real life lol) normal mode might of looked easier than usually because Jedi has a history playing musou games
  17. Mostly the reviewers do, i agree. But the fanbase is still fairly large and tend to grab the game everytime a new sequel comes out. I'd say the fanbase probably peaked like DW4-DW5.
  18. Leo and Fredericks support was hilarious i can't wait to see this voiced out it had me in stitches
  19. Basically its a great way to kill stress away without having to be too invested in the gameplay You either command a general (in this case iconic fire emblem characters) and tackle a insurmountable about of other enemy generals and just random fodder. Your character is heightened to hilarious levels of power and will sling people around like they weigh about 10 pounds. Main objective tends to be defeat the enemy commander while defending your own. Racking up 1,000+ kills is normal, occasionally they'll throw conditions or side missions to keep it interesting. That's a warriors game in a nutshell, and i've been playing warrior games since DW2 appeared on the PS2. They're really fun tbh
  20. Regular mainstay warriors games have much stronger opening weeks with the weakest being around 185k iirc Higher probably in the 700ks, this is just Japan. One of the most popular musou games was DW4 and that sold about 1.1 million in 9 days (in Japan) Warriors games tend to sell fairly well in the west as well usually matching the sales of Japan or higher Hopefully the west can try boost these figures. My guess is that the Switch being fairly new doesn't have tons of titles which people feel the need to go out and buy one. Heck i'm still waiting for FE:W to come out before i even grab one Best comparison i can draw is DW6 which was originally a PS3 exclusive but flopped pretty hard because the system was so new. (as well as other huge system changes not for the better)
  21. I picked Jaffar - Blazing Blade Zephiel - Binding Blade Eldigan - Genealogy of the Holy war These are all pretty fan favorite characters i like, as well as the fact that i'd like to see these guys movesets in game. Eldigan i guess could be a clone of Xander, but Zephiel and Jaffar would have to have unique movesets as their archetypes don't seem to be in the game
  22. yeah it really makes me wonder about the DLC characters. because despite saying they didn't want a ton of sword characters. there still is a TON of sword characters, and no armor knights? wtf i was half expecting like a draug or a barthe or some crap lmao
  23. renewed hype train, with my bae lyn unlockable. cmon hector dlc bebe
  24. maybe new characters exclusive to the this fire emblem warriors series? or does it specifically say from the fire emblem franchise?
