  1. Being better than poopoo doesn't mean you're not considered bad. DK is wasted potential. At least he's memorable in being a pain in the butt. Flame Emperor is a wet fart and was predictable. Solon and Kronya are uninspired. Thales is a massive douchebag with no redeeming qualities. Speaking of the first act villains only as I'll speak about the others once I've finished all paths.

  4. I recall there being no seals in last year's TT. The Atk Tactics deal was leaked in a tips video so not exactly a 100% guarantee that we'll see something like last year's. Maybe 2018's TT heroes and seals, but not only the heroes. I'm gonna throw a curveball and that the TT hero will be a FE mascot or Jeralt

There were definitely moments where I used divine pulse (I had to use all charges in the three way battle because of Claude's Fallen Star granting guaranteed avoids), but otherwise rather easy since my units are beasts. Canto on half of my units makes life easy. Doesn't help Dimitri can't get hit with his personal and lance prowess active. Dude is dodging everything. I haven't even mentioned his offensive stats. Motherfucker just ignores weapon weight with his strength and that goddamn speed is skyhigh. Now that I have a better grasp of the game my next playthrough seems like it'll be a cakewalk unless they'll add Lunatic which I want to try out.

  7. Incredibly meh. At least they don't say dumb shit. Some good moments with Jeralt and mysteries about Byleth, but IS has to make another game where your self-insert is a secret dragon god offspring (white text spoilers) or something. Lay off the self-importance. The avatar's supports didn't do Byleth any favors. It works for the setting because you uhhh... Have some kind of way of choosing one of the three houses to teach.

Effective against cavalry foes. Refinement: At start of combat, if unit's Res ≥ foe's Res, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3 during combat.
  9. I don't think we'll get copies of old TT heroes. Maybe grails, but not heroes whom somebody +10d already. I've seen a theory that it might be Anna, but I think it might just be an extra seal.
  10. Nah. His level is rather close to yours when you get him. From what I understand his stats are generated by base + "level ups" until current level. Whether or not those bases are generated with base growths or modified growths is unknown to me. EDIT: Plus he has good skill proficiencies. I really fucked him up because I didn't know what to do
  11. From what I read in the weapon catalogue it's a Seiro Hero Relic. Artist must've drawn using the wrong crest
  12. Most of the personal skills lose relevancy post-early game. A lot of skills early game were position related so they were good when your units all had the same move. After promoting all of them will have differing move. And most personals are incredibly minor boosts.

Linhardt is probably the best user of Stride in vanilla BE due to being proficient in healing magic allowing for faster obtainability of Physic, AKA the bread and butter of the best healers in the game. Stride+Physic allows your healer to heal basically anyone with Physic's long range. If you're not using Lynnie then there are other candidates for Stride as well, but not in vanilla BE as the only other person able to learn this spell is Bernie who I imagine most experienced people will make into a cav archer. I find Mercy to probably be the best healer in the game due to her crest occasionally sparing usage of Physic and her faith affinity, but anyone with a good magic growth and Physic is considered a good healer. Her crest only matters during the first half of the game. Once she's a bishop she'll pretty much never run out during the duration it'll take for you to clear a map. Also, Physic makes up for the shit movement magic users have

  16. Is it though? Seal defense combat art is rather useful on demonic beasts and sturdy enemies. Plus canto so you can move away. Leonie's is better tho as it's tied to a bow art.
  17. Focusing on endgame classes is a must. Especially if you're planning for riding ones. And don't keep on switching paths for your units. That's how I managed to bench Ashe and Cyril. If I would've immediately planned the most important skills they would've still seen use. Make everyone who you can into a cav or flier. Cav archers are better than archers. Same for peg ones tho they don't really become bow knights at endgame. There are exceptions like Felix, Dedue, Lysithea, Physic users, etc. Trying to get all budding talents is a pitfall. Some characters have shit growths in those areas. And you might not utilize said skill path because you're better off using what you're specialized at.

  19. He was having a hard time against blue dragons already EP with owltome+CC. Especially Nowi. Boey should've had something more on the raventome effect like maybe owl or breath effect, but CC against physical damage dealers is very good as it frees up the A slot for something like Sturdy Stance 4. Or heck, the long awaited CC+raventome+TA+Xbreaker combo Mae is okay. AA unit, but that's a bit costly as 200 dew isn't cheap. Otherwise fine. Kills reds and supports allies. Selena I'm pleasantly surprised with, but I will never use her because of her art. Beruka is good. Makes use of both weapons that were the most popular on her. Will build her in the future if I have dew to spare. But Boey first right now

  21. Hard/Classic, but did only 2 auxiliaries at the start. Somebody already echoed my thoughts on lances not being a big deal for Mercy. Just C. Compare that to Flayn who needs A for riding with a bad affinity if she wants to be useful. Oh wait, she needs to be level 30 to promote. Scratch her off my endgame list. Anyways Mercy, like the rest of Physic users, is the best user of Stride in BL. Physic lets her use her turn usefully. And it gets more charges midgame if she becomes a bishop which fits with how many turns I usually take to finish maps. Let´s not forget her crest can occasionally save a white magic spell use. I don´t know where I got it from, but that self-healing art is shooo good. Gives physic users less pressure. Dedue can be salvaged with Stride. I already mentioned Physic+Stride strats. Also, One-Two Punch ish good. Let´s him double with reliable damage.. Can tank demonic beasts with no worries at all Felix is a boss killer and literally empties an entire HP bar of demonic beasts. Gauntlets are so broken on him with his personal. Gave him the crit ring. 4x attack each with a 20ish crit chance. Let´s not forget his crest procs reliably allowing regular attacks to do more damage. I think he was the only unit who didn´t get doubled by DK, but that was at the Battle of Garred Magh. Such a great map. Only bad thing about it was the green units, but once the reinforcement ones arrive life is so good. I probably should´ve made Annette a flier so she can basically give +4 to 3 stats more easily. She can jump into wyvern rider with her axe affinity. Making her a Dark Knight right now so it´s not the end of the world. Ashe isn´t bad. There are just better units to use. I made him a Hero, but Catherine is much better. Should´ve focused on cav line for Bow Knight, but Leonie´s seal def combat art is much better than Ashe´s because it´s ranged compared to Ashe´s melee. I recruited her of course. Ingrid needs strength, but otherwise one of my best units. Is currently a Wyvern Rider. Should start using axes to cover her strength Sylvain is a god. Had some issues with him getting doubled at first, but once he gets that brave lance combat art nothing stops him. Very tanky. Dimitri from what I´ve looked at is the best of the three lords and the godliest of every unit in the game with his affinities. He´s more min-maxed where he should be compared to Edelgard and is pretty much my MVP next to Syvain, Ingrid and Felix. While Claude might be a flier post-timeskip, Dimitri can already be a cav pre-timeskip and he has more of a presence EP. Godly PP and EP. My avatar became such a joke. I don´t know what happened. Just went merc line. Next time making him a she and going flier line. I´ll also snag Sylvain for free so that´s a huge plus.
