I think it's a crutch that has too many uses to the point you possibly don't feel a sense of danger on a harder difficulty. I find myself using it to fix errors in my unit placement most of the time. It should start with 2. Have 4 at the endgame. It should be a valuable resource and make you learn from mistakes, not constantly fall back into bad habits.

I'm glad Mercedes demoted. She was one of my favorites in TH and it's good that she's got beautiful art. Her stats aren't too particularly bad either. Essentially powercreeped Wrys and Lucius. Not that amazing, but workable.

I think it'll just be tier 2.5 classes or 0 tier classes like Dancer so that everyone will be able to use it as the start (kind of like the DLC classes in Fates). But if they listen to feedback and add classes to missing links of class lines as a part of the free update that'd be fucking awesome.

Anime was pretty flooded with high school settings not too long ago, especially magic school ones back in the day. Isekai is the new "magic high school"/"high school" that's so over saturated even in the LN and manga industry.

From what I heard she's sounds more psychotic in JP. Might be why I found her to be cringey as the voice direction for her was made to be cutesy even though she was a disturbed individual with the end result of Bernadetta coming off as grating to me. Whether or not they still try to play her experiences off as comic relief in JP is unknown to me. I'll try playing BE with JP voices once I get the chance after GD. While I do appreciate writers exploring things outside of the boundaries they're usually used to, sometimes they really don't know what they're doing. You want to write someone in a way that makes the readers go "mush protecc"? Make them like Marianne

There were a lot of cute girls with nice personalities, but I went with Leonie. I just picked her randomly from the options. Then again, I'm not too fond of playing for paired endings unless it's on first playthroughs of each route. If a paired ending happens then it happens. At least we don't have to breed our units with a looming sense of optimal gameplay threat

And that's saying something considering the uninteresting void that Ike is in his side of supports. Wish they'd stop it with the self-inserts or at least downplay their glorification. I honestly wish the dude was our Jagen and he'd stay for the entire game.

I tend to spend for fodder. Banners with color sharing get me to spend more in the circle with the free summon.

Best IMO Samushi (SSR looping Berserker), CARmilla (offensive utility), Samusai (probably your best ST SR saber if you don't have one that's maxed out) and Penmelt (arts looper with a large battery). The rest are okay. They have their merits, but the four that I mentioned in my uniformed opinion stand more out in desirability. Bunny Artoria is weird tho.

While it doesn't speak for everyone, fielding a unit in pretty much every battle compared to others you might have occasionally benched speaks to a degree of favoritism (you'll have to do comparisons for each map if the data is released). I will agree people just didn't have other units to use so some characters will be higher up, but towards endgame there'll be a better picture to see who was a "endgame" waifu/husbando as the rankings occur after every battle and your roster will be wide enough to justify picking out favorites or good units, but most likely favorites as this game has brought along many many newcomers (quite likely that this game will sell more than previous entries) and I'd imagine that the common person unexperienced with FE can't tell what's "good" so they'll stick to what they like to use Then again this feature is available only from the online subscription. Subject pool got extremely downsized so a lot of what I said in the previous paragraph can be thrown out the window. All that time I spent writing that stupid paragraph Yeah. She's just pretty much plain fish girl, but I don't think she commits any offensively bad in terms of writing except maybe being plain, but that's really all that I see of it

BE was the most popular route with many factors to consider so it'd make sense that most of them would be on top.
