Gah, barely knocked out of top 3 for my team and got Rank 4 but Team Alfonse ended with 16 areas conquered so I still ended up getting 6000 feathers out of it. Last 30 minutes was literally unplayable for me since every area was either knockout or completely out of reach.

That would probably be a good idea. I find spinoff games like these more enjoyable if I played the main games beforehand especially since spinoff games like these love to make callbacks/callforwards that might only make sense if you played the main games beforehand not to mention any spoilers from the original games being openly mentioned during conversations.

Just found out Atlus released another trailer for the game today. Basically it just shows off the cast again and the plot is similar to PQ1 in that the characters are pulled into another world (this time movies apparently), are trapped and will need the help of OCs to escape. The girl from the first trailer is named Hikari and the new lady introduced in this trailer is named Nagi (already guessing she is going to be the villian). Goro Akechi is here as well so it makes me assume this game takes place some time before a certain event in Persona 5. Also apparently the female Persona 3 protagonist is counted separately from the rest of the Persona 3 characters so it is probably a situation where she was pulled from an alternate universe and the rest of the P3 cast won't know who she is. Also ugh...there is DLC for this game but I suppose that is to be expected at this point. Right now it is just battle BGM from previous Persona titles and first print copies will have it free (at least Japanese copies) but there is bound to be more coming later.

Finally decided to start pulling on the legendary banner despite waiting till the last day to do it. Spent 170 orbs on it and got three Kinokas and thankfully one of them was not -atk or -spd (one of them was neutral). Still don't have F!Grima yet and the search for her will have to wait till the next legendary banner since the banner with M!Grima is tomorrow and I still don't have him either.

Oh good, 8/8 is just going to be the day of reveals for Nintendo huh. When I wake up that morning I get to watch the Smash Bros Direct and then later that night FE Heroes new banner trailer will probably be put up. Good thing I won't be busy that day.

Surprised no one made a topic about this yet but after a year of silence from Atlus they finally announced Persona Q2 yesterday and it's titled Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. Personally this is a game that I have been waiting to hear to about even though it is pretty much what most expected it to be. The casts of P3, P4 and P5 (sorry P1 and P2 fans) team up to assist the game's OC girl out with whatever problem she will have. Seems like the aesthetics will be based around a movie theater I guess or maybe a theater for a play. Plot will probably be nothing to write home about but I still think it will be interesting to see the P5 cast interact with the older cast of characters since one part of the trailer makes it out to seem like the Phantom Thieves and the IT (Investigation Team/P4's cast) will be in conflict against each other for at least presumedly the early portion of the story. Hoping for more interactions between the different set of casts like Kanji and Ken did from PQ1 but I can already see some sillier ones like Teddie and Morgana arguing with other over who the better mascot, Yosuke/Junpei fawning over Ann and maybe Ryuji will become Akihiko's new training partner this time. Though what I am really interested in is that they actually decided to add the female protagonist from P3P to the game and I wonder what her role in this will be. Will they have the both Persona 3 protagonists interacting with each other or is it that you just decide the P3 protagonist's gender at the beginning of the game since I could see it going either way. And assuming the game is dubbed I wonder who will voice her now (and Rise for that matter) since I don't think Laura Bailey will be back to voice her. Alexis Tipton maybe? Anyways, game releases on November 29, 2018 in Japan and will probably be released outside Japan sometime in 2019. Feel free to discuss more about this.

I kind of noticed that as well. It seems like whoever does 'well' on the first day ends up crashing and burning towards the end of day 2. Though I guess with the new ranking system you can still aim to get a good individual rank if you are not available to play the last few rounds of the match. In both matches so far I have seen the top person on my team stay at number one the entire time though I guess both of them must have used all their lances and getting perfects on the highest difficulty. Also, yeah I know that I at least helped build up enough points to cause knockouts in two of Anna's areas while my other teammates caused a knockout on one area owned by Alfonse's team which let us fight and accumulate points in more areas.

Heh, thanks. I have been mostly running a mixed brigade of dragons and fliers and it seems to work out fine on Infernal difficulty. Your Tana has been fun to use too since I added her to my brigade. Congrats on your team's success as well.

Oh wow, my free pull today gave me a 5 star F!Corrin! Its definitely better than the Ogma they gave me yesterday. I think this is the first time my free pull was a 5 star and of course it would be a Fates unit. Now I have to decide if I want to actually build her now since I don't have to waste 20,000 feather on her.

On Outrealm 11,486 on Team Sharena I am surprised that in the last two hours we went from having zero areas and somehow managed to snag up ten areas. Not only that but I got Rank 3 so I got 6200 feather for round 2. I guess everyone on my team really was sleeping until close to the very end. Hoping to get in the top 3 for the final match as well since I will be going into it with 11 dueling lances.

So this is currently a interesting situation that I found myself in... I like how everyone on Team Sharena really doesn't seem like they give a crap as to what is happening. I really hope everyone on my team feel like waking up anytime between now and the next two hours to help me claim some areas. It is times like these that I wish you could pick what team you were on like in Voting Gauntlets instead of just everything being randomly decided for you and having people drag you down with them.

We already have two Green Winds with Gunnthra and Lyn though. Having repeating colors and elements was bound to happen eventually anyways.

After thinking about it for a while and assuming August's legendary hero will be female my guesses are between Eirika and (Female) Corrin. Haven't played Sacred Stones but to my understanding Eirika and Ephraim are both supposedly the main character of their game so it doesn't seem right that one gets a legendary without the other. Eirika also seems to be a very popular lord if both CYL polls are anything to go by as she did rank high if both of them (6th in CYL1, 4th in CYL2). I can see her wielding a new Sieglinde on a horse like her canon promotion and I guess she would have lunar brace to mirror her brother. I'll take a guess and say she would have the water element and boost res for her bonus. Corrin is my other guess who is probably bound to get a legendary eventually. Corrin could realistically be any type of red unit due to the Nohrian Noble class using all three of those weapons (Sword, Dragonstone, and Tomes). Honestly wouldn't mind seeing them making up a fire or dark tome for Corrin to use with their artwork having them in their Nohrian Noble class(my preferred class for Corrin) though if they really wanted to screw with us they could make her a red bow and handwave it as Takumi teaching her how to use one (their support in Fates does have Takumi teaching Corrin how to use a bow). Corrin's element would obviously be water though I don't know what stats she would boost, probably not attack though. Celica is another possibility for red but I doubt they would release a legendary of her with CYL2 units coming soon. Kind of don't want to see the backlash that would ensue from that. If they break the gender pattern and it ends up being male for August the most likely options are Roy (fire element), Hrid (I'm guessing earth element for him) or Alm (could be fire or earth element) though I am actually expecting one of them to show up in October.

@Astellius Congrats on the L!Lucina and with the good nature too! I haven't pulled on the Legendary banner yet since I have convinced myself that I that I might get better pulls if I wait till the last few days of a banner (also because August should be giving us tons of free orbs). Not sure if I will try pulling blue for Lucina since I still intend to only pull colorless orbs in order to get Robin/Grima ironically enough.

So we are getting Fjorm, Gunnthra, and Robin next month so the next new legendary hero has to be red. Assuming IS doesn't break the gender pattern between releasing two males and then two females so...Eirika maybe? It's probably too soon to be thinking about it but for some reason she is the first female I thought of who could probably be a red legendary hero especially if there is a new heroes banner focused on Sacred Stones characters later in August.

Yeah, maybe some day Linde will grace me with her presence and I will get to try out that refined Aura of hers but until then I am content with having Delthea and Tailtiu to use as my blue tome infantry units.

Ouch, sad to hear you got pitybroken eight times going for Summer Tana. And I thought I had terrible luck back in June wasting 400 orbs trying to get normal Linde and got nothing but pitybreakers. Hopefully you have better luck when they put S!Tana on a future Legendary banner. Also, good luck pulling blues on tomorrow's banner.

Is Catria really the most popular though? I kind of always thought Palla and Catria were neck in neck for the more popular Whitewing Sister title though that would explain why newer characters like Cordelia take more inspiration from Catria than Palla though. Apparently someone lied to me. I will have to get back them later for that.

I would argue that Caeda and/or Tiki could be possible candidates for a non-lord Legendary Hero to represent Archanea alongside Marth. Reasons being that isn't Caeda basically Marth's right hand man (woman) in the Archanea games or at the very least have more lines than most characters in those games? Tiki seems to be a central figure for the Archanea games and from my understanding she is the only other character outside of Marth who can kill the final boss right? Plus Tiki already seems to be regarded as a legend during Chrom's time and my only question would be would they base Tiki on her younger (Archanea) or older (Awakening) self? Of course I still have yet to play Shadow Dragon so I could be wrong about both of them. Don't know about FE6 but at the very least Roy will definitely get a Legendary alt before Eliwood does (much to my chagrin).

@Johann Plan on doing a prediction thread for August's Legendary Hero? I already know it is probably too soon since July's hero was just revealed today but I quite enjoyed your predictions for this month and was wondering if a new thread will be made for August since I am already thinking of next month's hero.

There are many bow users in the Fire Emblem franchise yes but how many of them would you actually consider worthy of being Legendary? IS kind of shot themselves in the foot by limiting colored bows to Legendary Heroes since only Alm and Lyn are the big shot names that wield bows (after promoting). And since they needed a third hero to wield colored bows Lucina was probably the closest pick for them since they love having her use bows in other spinoffs. I don't know, maybe if Lucina didn't use bows in other spinoff/crossover games I could see where your are coming from but at this point bows have been something that IS pushed onto her over time in order to differentiate her from Chrom (as far as I am concerned anyways). There is a thing called creative liberty you know. Lucina not being allowed to use bows in Heroes is like saying Ness shouldn't be using PSI attacks he didn't use in Earthbound for Smash Bros. I kind of don't want to know what your reaction towards the CYL2 Heroes would be since I am already predicting that at least one of those characters will be using a weapon type they 'canonically' don't use. I actually have a theory that the reason they gave Lucina a bow is because they only want one Legendary Hero wielding Falchion and they are saving that for Marth...probably.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. I'm pretty sure it is just haters using multiple accounts and clicking the dislike button. I always found it odd that Lyn (and probably soon Lucina) has a bigger number of likes/dislikes on their videos compared to Robin, Ryoma and Hector. Just to compare the English videos. Robin: 5225 Likes/419 Dislikes Lyn: 5021 Likes/2366 Dislikes Ryoma: 4223 Likes/510 Dislikes Hector: 4687 Likes/573 Dislikes Lucina (almost an hour after the video was posted): 1588 Likes/1346 Dislikes According to this Robin's English video received the least amount of dislikes despite being out the longest and I have heard plenty of people throw a hissy fit of two Grimas being released in a short amount of time so if anything that should be the most disliked video so I see it reasonable to believe that the amount of likes/dislikes a video received shouldn't be taken that seriously.

I'm pretty sure IS stopped caring about keeping non-seasonal alts as 'canon' as possible the moment they decided to give Eirika a tome of all things plus putting Nino on a Pegasus. Archer Lucina isn't that farfetched as like other people mentioned archer is always an alternate class option for Lucina in Awakening plus Alm is more known for wielding Royal Sword/Falchion which is what his legendary alt will probably be based on even though at this point I am hoping for red bow Alm.
