    Honestly, if Fire Emblem was getting a boss character for Smash Ultimate I feel like either Black Knight or Grima would get picked for that.

    But Palla is friend, not fodder! Though seriously, I have tons of fliers who want Goad Fliers and Palla doesn't show up that often for me. No one wants Lethal Carrot on my team since it has been several months since I last used a dagger unit and I am not sure who would want Spd/Res Bond.

    Gender balance is broken but that's fine since we got Legendary Marth now. Kind of always expected Marth to get Exalted Falchion Also, for some reason I can't look at L!Marth's special being called 'Fire Emblem' and not think it sounds very narmy for some reason. Anyways, while red looks like the best color to pull from and while I would actually like to get L!Marth since I am still missing a fire legendary hero I probably won't be spending too many orbs on red since I already have Reinhardt and I don't really need Lene. Don't need or want any of the green units and blue is only mildly impressive but I wouldn't spend any orbs for them right now. Colorless is still the go-to color for me. I still want L!Robin to complete my dragon emblem team plus the other two are fodder for me if I get them instead. If I get Faye her Firesweep Bow is going to Kinoka and if I get Kagero her Goad Fliers goes to one of my fliers.

    Was unsure whether to spend orbs on the healing banner but since my luck with Legendary banners is usually terrible I figured why not. I got L'Arachel with +Atk/-HP (best nature I pulled for her so far) who will get merged up to +5 now and I also got GTome Olwen surrounded by colorless orbs with a +Spd/-Res nature. Now I can finally make a team of only Olwen and Reinhardt. Only spent 55 orbs on this banner so yeah I'm glad I pulled on this banner now since I bet the next legendary banner will still deny me L!Robin.

    An Atlus rep like Jack Frost would get me excited. The character I would like to see the most though is Anna (even if I am the only person who would be excited about it) as either a playable character (her whole moveset could be based around using different weapon types) or at least an Assist Trophy. Or at the very least if there is a shop mode to purchase things like in Smash Wii U (if it comes back hopefully it has more than trophies) I wouldn't mind seeing it being run by famous merchants from various series like aforementioned Anna from FE, Beedle from Zelda, Tom Nook (I think that is his name) from Animal Crossing and so on. What about you, any characters you hoping to see?

    I dunno. It depends on what new characters are left to announce plus whatever 'mystery mode' is. At this point though I am just ready to play the game since whatever is left to announce probably won't interest me much personally.

    Chrom's inclusion as a playable character plus seeing Castlevania content. Though really I liked just about everything shown in the August Direct.

    Luna is a sacred lance from Valentia (Gaiden/Echoes). Gungnir and Helswath originates from Genealogy though all three weapons are obtainable in Awakening. I feel Helswath in particular should go to Cherche since that is the weapon she holds in most official artwork for her and its effects could be like Nephenee's Dauntless Lance and keep Hammer's armor effectiveness and just accelerate the cooldown by one like slaying weapons or add sturdy blow (add +4 to atk/def when foe initiates combat). Not sure what the ideal effects Cordelia's prf weapon would have though.

    I feel like it is too early for predictions since plenty can change people's mind between now and January 2019 but here goes... Males: Marth will probably get first this time. Second place is trickier because it could depend on a lot of things. Chrom could get it assuming he gets no more alts between now and CYL3 voting time plus Smash Ultimate could boost his popularity, Alm could also get it if he doesn't get a Legendary alt and the people who voted Celica last time flock to him. Other but less likely options are Robin, Takumi and Reinhardt. Females: I think this is tougher to predict but personally I would want Eirika and Azura to win together for CYL3 but realistically Eirika would get first and either Camilla or Loki will get second. Other contenders are Micaiah and Corrin but their chances are not as likely.

    @mampfoid Congrats, that's an interesting Cordelia you get there. Yeah, I am kind of hoping Cordelia gets a prf weapon of her own eventually. My own still uses a brave lance set since I don't want to waste 20,000 feathers giving her a Firesweep or Slaying Lance when there is the possibility of her getting a new weapon refine down the road. I kind of want to see her get Luna (the weapon not the skill) or Gungnir while Cherche gets Helswath and the Robins should also get something to make them more useful.

    @Astellius Nice Cherche you have there. Congrats on fully merging her. Her build looks similar to the one I use on mine. Does Glimmer actually let her do more damage than Bonfire/Ignis or did you pick it because it is a 2 charge special and thus activates more often?

    Cloud's situation is messier but I think he will stay speaking Japanese because I remember people saying on other forums that Steve Burton is under contract to only voice Cloud in games published by Square or something like that along with his union status mucking things up further. Also, apparently Square didn't even bother mentioning to Burton that Cloud was going to be in Smash 4's DLC and wouldn't surprise me if they did it again with Ultimate. I'm 99% sure Ray Chase will voice Roy in Ultimate since all the other FE fighters besides Lucina? are being voiced by their Heroes voice actor.

    I put Warding Breath on Tiki because I didn't have Steady Breath fodder on me at the time I was putting all those skills on her (plus I just wanted to get rid of my freebie L!Ike just so I could forget about that A Hero Rises event). Warding Breath is just there so she can proc Bonfire/Ignis/Aether faster and her defense is already so high she takes little damage from physical attacks so I figured a small res boost wouldn't hurt. If I really need Tiki to fight a mage I could also switch her Lightning Breath to boost res and Warding Breath's +4 effect puts her res at 36 before Hones/Spurs/Drives are accounted for to make her more of a mixed tank. If I could have given her Steady Breath I would but Warding Breath is a nice substitute. You said you had extra L!Ikes yeah, if you are not planning on merging them I find skills like Steady/Warding Breath are better off being given to other units since dragons and armor units (or any unit with high defense like Lukas) benefit greatly from those skills. Thanks and hopefully Tiki starts showing up more for you. My Tiki was sitting at +9 merges for a few months before the final one showed up.

    I meant as in several days ago before we knew the CYL banner was coming this month because back then I was expecting August's new heroes to be from a specific game that could hint what the legendary hero was for this month.

    I honestly don't know who the red hero will be this month anymore. The CYL banner threw me off so I guess it could literally be anyone now though I guess that depends on whether or not they will continue the pattern of two males, two females in which case the August hero should still be female but we will see what happens next week.

    Didn't want to spend too much on CYL2 banner but I ended up throwing almost 100 orbs at the banner pulling red and blue orbs and ended up with B!Hector. He's +Res/-HP but at least he is not -Atk. Free summon will be B!Celica and hopefully I can put this banner behind me and look forward to Owain and/or Kliff showing up on farfetched heroes 2.0.

    You could still say the theme is people related to the characters. Hector and Veronica is based on their brothers, Ephraim is based on his father and Celica well...she is referencing Alm through Royal Sword instead of art design and they are related as well considering the ending of Gaiden/Echoes?

    Celica already has an alt with Beloved Zofia though...kinda, as a witch anyways. Though really at this point since they are using Royal Sword as Celica's brave alt I am kind of expecting Alm or Celica (preferably Alm) in their overclass as our Legendary Red Bow unit.

    It looks like everyone gets a unique skill this time around. Hector looks kind of tempting to me but I think I will just take my free Celica and get out. Anyone else feel like Brave Celica is what Legendary Alm (or any alt of him) could have been? I always imagined Alm getting an alt wielding Royal Sword so it is surprising seeing Celica wielding it instead. Unfortunately this makes all current versions of her red infantry. @bottlegnomes IDK, I feel like the AI gets more out of Wazzle Dazzle than I do especially if it is an enemy troubadour.

    I really hope Celica doesn't end up as a dagger or staff. Both of them are the weakest weapon type in the game and it might just be me but it seems unfitting for someone who scored second (and number one for females) to be saddled with one of those weapon type without making the weapon effect super op or something. I never really cared about CYL and Celica is the only character I somewhat care about from this event so I really hope she ends up good regardless of what weapon she wields. Hopefully they let us pick one for free again because I'm not really planning on throwing orbs at this banner.

    @mampfoid My Catria used to be +Atk/-Res but I had to make the final merge be +Spd/-Res in order to double units in Arena/AA. Yeah, I suppose some people like their chicken dragon but I always thought it looked weird plus I recently pulled FH!Robin with a good nature so I prefer to use him as my Green Dragon. I would rather not see Camilla any more than I have to and while I think Beruka and Arthur are interesting they require more investment than I am willing to put in them. I do use Frederick and Cecilia though and have both of them at +10 except they are still at 4 stars. I also like using Sonya and would +10 her if they decide to bring her down to 3 or 4 stars the next time they decide to demote units along with giving Dark Excalibur a good refine.

    Managed to grind enough HM feathers out of Rival Domains to finish the final merge for Catria. It feels good to finally be able to complete some of these merge projects I have been spending months working on. https://imgur.com/7pEbHi4 Honestly, I don't really like dragons with child-like personalities and appearances outside of Tiki though really there are not that many green units I like or care for anyways since most my favorites end up being red or blue units in this game.

    @mampfoid Thanks. Congrats on your first +10 unit as well. I really need to start thinking about which green unit I want to +10 as well though I am still deciding between Raven or my own Cherche. Also, I like your new look as well. Very nice.

    Thanks. Yeah, back then I didn't have Cordelia so I used Catria since she was another of my early 5 star pulls and she worked out better than I thought she would. She tanks in hits pretty well for a Pegasus knight. Plus, she pitybroke me so much I already had her at +5 without spending any feathers so I figured why not. Good luck with your merge projects with Catria and Palla. I would like to merge up my own Palla since she is my favorite of the Whitewings but mine don't really see much action anymore since I have Elincia, Caeda and L!Ryoma plus I keep foddering my extras away for Goad Flier since I have so many units that want that skill.
