When the raven arrived, I left some chests to lure them and then killed them and opened the remaining chest. With silver sword equipped, she had really good chances of surviving. She didnt even get hit except by the ballistae. Next turn, she KOs ballistaeman and goes left to lure a swordmaster with Silver Lance forge and Laguzguard equipped. Next turn, she equips Javelin forge and kills the Purge bishop. She needed an Adept to KO a dracoknight. Ilyana meanwhile took on the right and sieged shit. Ike took the left and took down the Onager sniper just in time. Rhys had to use Rescue on Reyson after he vigored tanith so he stayed out of range. Laguz Bow rolf was crucial for killing cats and a swordmaster. Mordy's smite also came in handy. As did sothe's shoving. Speaking of Sothe, in order for the strat to work he had to shove ilyana and was exposed to 2 rocks. He died. His sacrifice well worth it. Not everyone can get Mordy Lethe or Muarim tho. Ive had Ranulf in a draft before and those 2 spaces of his and better wt than lethe are amazing. Like, he always shaves a turn somewhere. He was one of the MVPs of my most recent draft run (the one where I almost beat/tied non-restricted Theory Marcia by 1 turn without flight) Haar comes too late and there's not as much demand for a flier THAT late. Unless somehow that drafter doesnt have a paladin at all. The only chapter you would really want Haar in, if you dont have a flier is Chapter 25 and even then, you can 5 turn it with a lot of different combinations of draftees (Tormod is amazing for this but there are other ways). The rest of the chapters a paladin can do it, sometimes slower, yes, but with ranulf around, it gets a lot quicker with his smiting. Probably quicker than with Haar. @HK- Also, chapter 11 in 4 turns is impossible with only Titania. Ive tried a lot of times (like seriously, its the chapter Ive spent the most time trying to optimize in drafts because that map is a prick) and can safely say that. Titania needs to move every single square every turn and its almost impossible to do because of her frailty and not being able to ORKO armors in one side and getting blocked by enemies if you go north. There's the issue of the boss being a prick and almost killing Titania too, especially with that sword of his. I doubt it is plausible to do it reliably at any rate.

What good is Brom's 1-2 range if he cant ORKO with it? He also takes too long to get anywhere. Brom costing turns to recruit depends on the team btw.

Nope. It makes a lot more characters a viable pick. Its not broken at all. Stealthing chapter 10 is actually an option with 100 BEXP. And you run out of BEXP really quickly. Makes you learn how to manage it better. Like, I drafted Rhys originally thinking I could promote him to Rescue quickly, but due to lack of BEXP ive had to compromise his BEXP for Ilyana and Rolf. Its a lot better to have 100 than 50 from what Ive seen. Footie units have been contributing a lot more with this.

Haar costs turns to recruit if you have Jill (because she has to stay back and wont be able to help ferry Ike) and he wont see recruitment if Jill is skipped in favor of Marcia 2 turn of ravenship (chapter 12) Geoffrey has availability woes. He joins right when there's a map that impedes good mount movement. His bases arent that spectacular either. Janaff might fly and all, but his combat is bad. No 2 range, gauge and wont ORKO anything ever. He also has no canto. Elincia has 3 chapters of availability. Even with flying rescue, shes in a pretty dire situation :/. Shinon's earlygame is overrated. Gatrie is good in ch7 and thats about it. Sothe can get you a full guard and helps 7 turn Astrid's boat chapter by opening chests.
