Ever play a game and think “yeah, I want that character in Smash”? What character stickers that fancy for you? For me (characters in bold are characters who got in) Sora Crash Bandicoot Byleth Euden Ring Fit Trainee Min-Min Axel Stone Captain Toad Sakura Shinguji* *I‘ve only played the 2020 soft reboot (starting today, might I add), but I’ve researched the games where Sakura Shinguji is playable.

This video alone just sold me on a Dark Souls rep. -

So, here's a fun little game. Pick a character from each of the years not yet represented in Smash (pre-2020). Here are the years: 1982 2000 2003 2008 2011 2014 2018 My picks are: 1982: Dig Dug 2000: Adeleine and Ribbon 2003: Lyn 2008: Neku Sakuraba 2011: Snivy 2014: Queen Sectonia (Boss) 2018: Euden -
Well, either way, Nintendo dropped the ball so hard, ATLUS had to get it out of the ditch. (cue Sonic Unleashed Rank E theme)

I know we aren’t exactly owed a Direct (especially given the circumstances) but I can’t believe this is what we’re getting right now with being in the dark after TOK. But there’s also maintenance happening on the 27th of July and 3rd of August. So maybe we have silver of hope for any kind of Direct (full or Mini) with more 1st party news.

I’m kinda late, but Ring Fit Adventure is definitely the weirdest fitness game I’ve ever played.

Let’s do a little game. Let’s try to set up our predictions based on these kinds of roles: -A character for non-Nintendo fans (my pick is Crash) -A character who comes from an overall big franchises (my pick is Sora; this kind of franchise doesn’t have to be JP, but it’d help) -A character for hardcore Smash fans (my pick is Bandana Dee) -A character from a niche franchise (my pick is Sakura Shinguji) Min Min kinda already fills the same “modern Nintendo/Switch fan” role Byleth fills. -
This is something quick that I’ve been meaning to do. It’s come to my attention recently that certain characters’ playstyle are the way they are to (possibly) fill a playstyle archetype. Mario: Mr. Basic playstyle Donkey Kong: Gorilla playstyle Samus: Space Marine playstyle (kinda?) Kirby: Mimic playstyle Ice Climbers: 2-in-1 Fighter playstyle Sheik and Greninja: Ninja playstyle (in case you couldn’t tell from the latter’s name) Zelda: Mystic Girl playstyle Marth, Roy, Ike, Lucina and Chrom: Bare Swordsman playstyle Diddy Kong: Small Animal playstyle Olimar: Commander playstyle Mega Man and the Belmonts: NES Platformer playstyle Little Mac: Boxer playstyle Miis: ANY playstyle the player chooses Robin: Magical Knight playstyle Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings: Mech Suit playstyle Ryu, Ken and Terry: Traditional Fighting Game playstyle Incineroar: Wrester playstyle Joker: Master Thief playstyle Hero: Turn-Based RPG playstyle Byleth: Master of Arms playstyle Min-Min: Master of TWO Arms playstyle I’m not necessarily defending or knocking these playstyles. Just wanted to get analytical about them.

Not to get anyone's hopes up, but this is an interesting development! -

Oh yes, there plenty of viable Nintendo candidates. It's just that fans are more interested in 3rd party and apparently 1st parties can't bring hype anymore (which I personally find BS). -
Come up with the most ridiculous spinoff possible

Mario & Luigi comes back, but it’s an action RPG instead of turn-based. -

I made a concept for a stage based on the Station of Awakening a while back. Now stay with me on this one.
